Ever since I installed my hybrid bought from Futurenix and interchange the battery banks on a daily all of them just dey enjoy life like Airtel *444# advert. On their off days the CC don't even work at all. Looks like it's time to go off grid fully, or what do you all think. Welcome to team hybrid |

Harbeybancity22: Hello sir, see the attached of the voltage after switched off of the generator(12hours)..before loading Okay I see it's 55v from the CC (the 52 on the inverter is freq) and what did the voltage drop to when charging was stopped? Can you also toggle the inverter screen to see your typical load(in watts) on the inverter |

Harbeybancity22: Thank you for your response. It's actually 2 transformer according to my supplier. Here is my observation. I charged(displayed) charging for 12 hours with 3.5kva maxi generator for 5kva inverter 48v, 200ah, 4 tubular batteries, and after loading it, it only lasted for less than 2hours. Meanwhile, when am using only solar panels it last for about 5hours for same loads. See the attached images(note from the images,I was using ups inverter before, then I changed it to kartel. Still same batteries) just to clarify that. Thanks What was the voltage after the 12hrs but before you switched off charging source? If it was 50v as indicated on the picture then the batteries did not charge at all. |

earthrealm: So 1.2m for a 400ah 48v bank ?, If your typo theory is true It's not impossible if ordering via china and using group share by sea.....it may also mean not getting good grade cells. Afterall there is "200AH" 48v felicity for less than 700k and that's after factoring first, second and maybe third party profit. It's also any it could not have been a true 200AH Lifepo4 |

ceaser: Come, is this some typo? 2 watts and 10 watts ke?! As as how? (In lateef Oladimeji's voice)
My 319L inverter compressor (rated 115w) maintains a constant consumption in the nineties once good temperature is achieved.
Although I have the "turbo switch" (that red light switch) permanently on which means that the compressor is on 24/7 or so I believe, cos I have never noticed any silence in its working. The same "turbo freeze switch" always on goes for the 203L.
Or have I been using these appliances incorrectly? It's no typo Bro, that's what happens when the freezer compressor shuts off. The turbo switch should not be constantly on, its meant to be a fast track and when it gets to your desired temperature you should turn off the turbo if it doesn't go off by itself as that was how it behaved in my 219L(I have not tried the turbo on the 379L) so that may also be why you have a consistent power consumption. That said, it could also be due to the content in the freezer, mine is just about 30% full |

ceaser: After the freezer attains minus 20 degrees, what is the consumption it settles at and maintains?
On and off, mostly off. But on for today. Àfàò road.
So that means that that BMV can be used ordinarily without any special types of inverter-SCC communication. It does about 2w and if lid is opened it goes to about 10w until the compressor triggers again so as to keep it at -20. Oh so we are neighbors then Exactly BMV only needs to be connected to the battery terminals, if you need data from it then you can connect it to other tool that will hervest the data for use, such as a logging system(I use solpiplog) and ofcourse you can connect through Bluetooth as well. That said I expect that it can talk directly with victron inverters, though I don't see why a victron inverter user will need a BMV |

mctfopt: I have a Thermocool 203L freezer that takes only 110w at max but runs lower than that. I'm surprised that the freezer is that efficient and doesn't consume much. My 219L has similar consumption before the local engineers (kezeems) did their magic on it and turned it to a 200w+ freezer |

What's the freezer consumption digits like?
As regards the "fingered" 219L, it still freezes okay, right? In case you wanna give it up, I might have one beverage drinks retailer who is interested in getting used freezer for cheap.
This BMV thingy, it can only be used with those inverters that come with RJ11 ports, right?
Me I nor even dey connected to utility supply at all. And today isn't looking promisimg either, only signs of more rain drizzles. E be like say generator will come on line for some. Max I have seen on it is 200w and when it achieves the -20c that it is set it consumes little or until compressor comes back online. The 219L has been grabbed already, are you based on Ado by the way? The BMV is not connected to my inverter it's connected to battery directly and the screenshot is from the phone app through Bluetooth Yeah the weather is not smiling in the last few days, fingers remain crossed for today |

ceaser: Almost two consecutive days of continuous rain and little sunshine. Major systems eventually went offline between 12am and 2am today. A downtime and deserved rest for one of the inverters that ran for 5 months non-stop. I'll score myself much higher than epileptic PHCN.
Even almighty Britain's EDF energy and British gas have downtimes no matter how short.
I don't know if he will like payment in instalments. Guys may key in to that.
But for someone who had to wait full five months for his goods to arrive and then may have to wait another two months to get paid fully after finding buyers, payment in instalments will not be the first payment plan that comes to mind.
But it's still not a bad idea.
How are you enjoying your new acquisitions: 560ah higher level and 379L turbo-powered inverter freezer? The freezer is consuming less than what my Kazeem fingered 219L was consuming. I still miss the buzzer sound feature on my turbo 219L which was not in the 379L. As to battery, about 280AH is the highest depth I have done despite recent downpour. I think the occasional utility supply have also not made it possible to deplete faster. It's over a week and I have only done 1cycle

ceaser: Sorry bro.
he financial implication of acquiring lithium is still outside the reach of majority. Considering the fact that self-discharge of LFP is very low, it would have made sense to acquire cells piecemeal, but for the risk of batch mismatching issues with piecemeal acquisition. Also, it's not likely that after getting 4pcs 280 ah within financial prowess of the moment, it'll be easy to find the next 4pcs 280 ah when the next financial surge comes. And I don't think payment in instalments comes with the offers.
Abeg no vex. Make you cut guys some slack. Actually he advertised 8 cells not 4, I am the one that put 4 cells up for sale.

earthrealm: you cant use any water, it must be ditilled water. if buying distilled water is too expensive for you, you have 2 options
1. buy a small tds meter, cost less than 4k, use it to test your borehole water or bottled water, if its below 5% you can manage and use it
2. buy a portable distiller, its less than 55k on jumia/konga, consumes 800w and produces 4liters in 1 hr
3. buy the packageddistilledwater,beingsold..however knowing nigeria as e be,u will always wonder if iya basira just turned on her tapwater and fuilled the bottles ,slapped on a label and shipped it out to sell
if they can do fake drugs/satchet water, beer and soft drinks, e come be distilled water for bttery wey go fear them., me i jejely went for option 2.
anybody get any well loved kung long battery or flooded battery for sale?. have need for 2 units of such to balance a dying bank In addition you can use rain water (assuming you can directly and neatly hervest it). Water from AC condensation can also serve. |

WAPCO, GTB, ZENITH, ACCESS, UBA, FBNH, FIDELITY, FCMB, UACN and a few other coys we mentioned here delivering great returns. ...they shall do more and surpass the expectations of many !! That 1st and last coy will surprise a lot of people in the mid-term.
Btw, ACCESS is already well ahead of UBA, and helping to put things in perspective. The dude I advised to do the swap(also a member here) has just informed me that he's already riding on a near N1.1M gain, which is exclusive of the 25k dividend. He still holds some UBA, but there was need to assign more weighting in ACCESS at the time. ACCESS was undoubtedly ahead of UBA both fundamentally and technically. Unfortunately, those who were arguing with "common sense" here back then couldn't see it.
Mr ACCESS is on its way to N10... and next will be an attempt to "embrace" it's 52-weeks high of N12. UBA will follow suite, but behind it.
It is well. Chairman ETI seem not to be on your list again? Looks like it has taken off already |

ceaser: I don't think something may be wrong with the cells in order to use this. I think it may just be an extra effort at keeping the cells balanced augmenting the BMS balancing function.
I went thru the buyers' review of the item and many agreed that their cells got balanced within a few millivolt within 24hrs. Really impressive reviews about the stuff. Yes it will do the balancing faster but my point was that if the cells were so unbalanced that much then it could be an indication of the status of the cells. New cells should not be so unbalanced to require a 6A active balancer, hope you get my drift...it's certainly going to be very useful for used cells to ensure one gets the most juice out of the cells |
