mctfopt: Some of the agents do take people's time for granted. That's why I don't recommend any. One still have a friend's package enroute 170+ days. It may still be bearable If that ended up with good pleasantries to customer and complete receipt of goods. Even @justcallmenuel got a little taste of the agent when he wanted to assist with receipt of goods. Just be mindful of this should incase you want to use the same agent but like I said my experience may be different. |

As to why hee no buy plenty, good question but has he been able to get a buyer for the ones he bought? So the thing is that it's not attractive to invest so much in lithium and there is no serious buyers on ground. Our people just dey waka pass may God bless our hustle o |

spartacus11: Lifepo4 400-550AH 24 volts how much should i be looking at
380w solar panel how many pieces do i need to change such battery bank
What's capacity of charge controller is suitable for it Mine was about 800k that finished every every but that's with 4 to 5 months waiting period. For CC I suggest 80A above and as to panels it really depends on your concurrent loads but anything from 8 units of 380w will be a good start |

ceaser: But it's also with inverter compressor, right?
219L should be okay for personal/home use. If it's inverter type, then you should look forward to seeing around 60 watts to 80 watts consumption on it as opposed to 110w/115w on the regular compressor.
379L is good too. it even seems the 319L is not even enough anymore for contents sold in the shop. I should know that this Oliver-Twist-wants-more attitude cost money jàre. Eventually went for the turbo of the 379 with inverter compressor. So far so good |

adrusa: I will suggest you let it happen naturally when you have extended outage. But, be prepared to juice it back with generator if necessary. Yeah looks like that's what is gonna be the plan. I am confident though that it will be close or exceed capacity; at about 250AH I was still at 26.4v under a 12A load. |

Oshomo12: Congrats on ur upgrade
Yelloo, when will you do a capacity test of your bank? Let's know what their real AH is, may not be precise, but just a rough estimate. I am expecting nothing less than 520ah from it. With this, we can say you have a/close to grade A cells. I actually tried this the first day but men having the capacity to discharge faster was the pro, round the clock I could only get to 250AH discharge by morning and I could not risk not getting the sunlight juice the next morning. Nevertheless I will certainly dedicate a day when I will be fully home to do this, am curious to know as well |

adrusa: Bolded! That is not how battery charging works. Irrespective of how much current is available, batteries will take just what it needs based on its state of charge. Unless you have a dumb charger that does not respond to battery's internal resistance and voltage. As at time that battery was taking in 6A, my solar setup can supply up to 90A. Good thing is that your batteries were charging at relatively closer SOC, the scenario I painted is where the SOC of the batteries differs. You may say it's almost impossible but who knows. |
