E Ku Market o. smiley

Na Zenith, UBA, Wapco and GTB get today.

* Over N1.5 trillion on Zee alone
....about 90M volumes as at 2.20pm......
* The Elumelus did not allow UBA price to move....I hope they manipulate it to retail investors favour when they're done buying. smiley
* Even at 16, Wapco still showed resilience, lots of accumulation at this junction......more upside expected.
* FBNH......5.35.....
It is well.
Yet no significant move on zee, that stock is just not responding well. As to wapco congrats to those that have patience than me grin

@ Ojeysky and others.

This is the point I was making about battery banks in parallels. Each of the battery behaves as if it is the only battery in the bank for charging and discharging. As you can see from this picture, one of my batteries is a laggard for reasons I'm yet to understand. It charges and discharges slowly relative to the other two. But once the other two complete their charging, the laggard in the middle start charging at a faster rate while the other ones are either at 0 or very low rate.
Section highlighted is actually a problem, so imagine you have set your charge rate to 80A with a BMS that has a max of 50A and initially that will be divided across the battery banks but after the other banks in parallel are done, the whole 80A goes to that single bank that is not yet fully charge. Also computing SOC across banks and voltage difference determination would also be more complicated when you have multiple ANT BMS in parallel especially if you don't have an external device at the edge(like BMV) to take that log.
This is why i prefer to put my cells in parallel into a single bank with a single BMS controlling things, instead of doing the parallel at bank level I go the cell level route. Though i will ofcourse advice to do that for max of 3 cells (its 2 in my case).

My plan was to have you do the wàhálà of looking for buyer for the 24/100 while I go home with 24/200. cheesy

Congrats on the new power hub. Enjoy yourself jàre.

But I noticed it's still 24vokts pack. Is it the capacity that is different now?
Yeah it's now 560AH, yet to determine actual capacity. If I get minimum of 500AH before BMS lvd then that will be a win

Hello bro. We discussed via Whatsapp.

I didnt buy the one the guy sells because it does look inferior. Just like you pointed out, the wires are quite small in width and i wondered whether it would be able to perform optimally under high load capacity.

I think i am better off buying the one in the attached picture that Mctfopt confirmed he uses. In this venture, i have decided to make purchases based on people's direct usage experiences. No money for experimentation now, until i reach the level of bosses like Saint2ace, Ojeysky, Adrusa and several others here... grin cheesy na oga dem be cheesy

I will be placing an order for it via Jumia by tomorrow. I hope it comes soonest.
I hear custom now charges significant amount for international orders placed on Jumia, you will see the estimated cost on checkout though

Just thinking ni o, not even decided on it yet (In Mr Macaroni's voice)

Someone expressed interest in my current 200AH LFP bank some time ago but I can't seem to find the post. It should be available from next week for 400k pere, you can reach me on whatsApp.
Current status:

1. 16 by 105 cells

2. It's deepest discharge I have done is 170AH

3. Its currently at about 150cycles or less. From the picture you will see 85cycles but I installed the BMV about 3months of usage.

4. Procured early this year, around Feb/march.

5. It has a reset button incase you do a deep discharge and trip the BMS but that button no longer works. So if your BMS trips, you will need to wake it up by charging from utility source the Daly BMS does not wake up by solar charging in hybrid systems unless you are using an external CC

I have attached some pictures for your reference

Thanks for your prompt response Sir.

Yes, the critical devices are the laptops, printer, TVs and bulbs. We can use generator for the others.

So with that, do you think the recommended system is ok?

Just curious, at the bolded, do you mean the budget be 6 or 7 digits?
Because the quotes I'm getting is already of 6 digits...
That was typo I meant 7digits but a lot have been said already about how you can reduce the cost by reducing your load

I will ask him about the capacity of the panels.

The house is 4 bedrooms with home office, we have the following (possible) loads;
3 laptops, 1 LaserJet printer, 1 refrigerator (not deep freezer), 2 standing fans, 2 TV and decoder sets, 1 submersible pump, about 10 bulbs or so.
I don't actually know the actual power needed for each of the loads, but I'm not particularly interested in powering all of them with an inverter.

So Sir, do you think the recommended system is ok?
Ah! This one na power house o grin it's certainly inadequate, you will need a budget of 6 digits to achieve this and 1 will not be the first number sef. So what was recommended to you is grossly inadequate. However if that is your budget then ditch the following:
Refrigerator, freezer and pump.

Greetings all,
I needed a solar inverter..., so after discussing with the seller, he recommends that 2.5kva would be best for the workload.

I'm a complete novice, so I want to be sure that I'm getting the best.

The seller gave me the system specs as follows; 2.5 kva, 2 batteries (200Ah), and 2 solar panels.
I was thinking that the solar panels should be more than 2. Is that correct?

Also, please what relevant questions should I ask the seller before making payment to be sure that I'm getting the best?

Thanks in anticipation for your help.
God bless!
It all depends on your load and what's the capacity of the panels?

They ain't located on same side. One is west while one is east but roof structure is virtually flat
So this is not the way to determine if the MPPT is doing better. However I hope you can see that you need to review the orientation of the panels connected to the MPPT
Satellite TV TechnologyRe: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by ojeysky(m): 11:00am On Sep 26, 2020
omotoda:
Please expert in the house,is there really any difference in the efficiency of PWM CC compared to MPPT?I have attached 2 pictures of the current generated by both at about 10:30 am today. There isn't really any significant difference. The MPPT is connected to 260w x4 units of Felicity panels and is charging 2units of 200ah batteries in series while the PWM is connected to 160w x 4 units of Felicity panels charging 3 units of 105ah batteries in parallel.I really do not see much difference except there is something I am not analysing right.
Normally with the number of panels connected to the MPPT you should see more hervest than the ones connected to pwm so unless the orientations are not the same I don't see why a 1kw+ should hervest same with a 700w+

Why is ANT BMS taking over?
What's wrong with DALY ?
CC:
All
Ojeysky
Daly still has a place because it's cheaper but one of the con is that it's not manageable(, though I see they've started releasing Bluetooth version as well) and it's locked in on number of cells. For instance the ANT BMS I have is 7s to 16s so I can easily upgrade to 48v setup in future without issues and the voltage range also works with various lithium spec while Daly is usually locked to some type of lithium.

Speaking of BMS, I have both Daly and ANT BMS for sale 1 and 2 units respectively wink

Okay sir. So the series connection does not make the capacity 8x280ah=2240ah.
If you have 8 3.2v 280AH cells it will be 280AH 25.6v, when you connect in series you are increasing voltage but when you connect in parallel that is when you are increasing AH

Please which is better, buying a single 24V 280ah lithium battery as against buying 8 of 3.2 volt 280ah . Which is better for longer capacity in carrying load? Pardon me o o, I am complete novice in these matters.
There is nothing like a single 280AH 24V lithium, when you open it you will find that it contains series of 3.2v cells

But it's also with inverter compressor, right?

219L should be okay for personal/home use. If it's inverter type, then you should look forward to seeing around 60 watts to 80 watts consumption on it as opposed to 110w/115w on the regular compressor.

379L is good too. it even seems the 319L is not even enough anymore for contents sold in the shop. I should know that this Oliver-Twist-wants-more attitude cost money jàre.
No my current 219t is not inverter compressor but the 379L is inverter compressor and I was saying if I can't find a 319t with a tubro fan I might just settle for getting the same 219t that I currently use as it has a turbo fan but I will keep praying to master J to make the 379L possible grin

• Zero8Zero3Three7Seven5Nine9Four. - that big shop at the roundabout opposite textile industry where traffic police (yellow fever) stays. I think chuksman electronics is the name. I understand they have the 319L inverter in stock as at 3 weeks ago. So you can call ahead for inquiry.

• The second shop which I annoyingly deleted their number cos they disappointed that my client is the LG shop located at Basiri. It's the building beside I think that JK furniture and funeral home. They actually called me that they had brought a single unit for my client.

• But she had settled for a unit at that thermocool shop at Dalimore/Similoluwa area. I understand the similoluwa store had about two units in stock as at that time.

The price offered for the Basiri shop was 5k less but of course they disappointed. The prices of appliances generally at that shop opposite textile is always on the high side. So prepare to negotiate well.

• The LG shop at Bank road had 519L inverter then and they promised they were gonna stock 319L after Corona lockdown. I can't say if they've done that.

Please let me know when you've noted that phone number so I can edit this post.
I know the one at textile(homes) to be more expensive, I actually already visited the dalimore showroom and the prices are also close to the one I should you on Jumia. Meanwhile the seller at Jumia claim not to have the turbo version anymore so my order was cancelled.
Saw a 379L inverter turbo version in one of the showrooms here but men those things are now very expensive. I am probably going to just settle for my original 219t eventually as I love that tubro fan feature on the lid and the temp display.
Thanks Bro!

Holy cow! 197k. That's killing. This stuff was 167k, at most 170,551k less than three months ago.

Don't worry, I can give you a couple reliable outlets with good prices in ADK when you're ready. There was a minor altercation with one of 'em outlets there when they disappointed another client which I knew. They later called me about 6 weeks ago that they now have it in stocks and asked if the guy in ADK will still be interested. So there's still a chance they have it and probably for less than 197k, I want to believe.

I'd have loved the fan type too, but the products I saw with fans were inverter 509L and regular 319 and regular 419L. I almost believed that the 319 inverter had no fan option if not that you posted it here now. If I knew there's 319 inverter turbo option, I'd have insisted on it.

So when I got introduced to Sonoff I was hoping the hub version would work for my household and ordered it, unfortunately based on my house wiring and the various dependencies thereof, the individual Sonoff basic is what will work for me. My AliExpress tracking says the hub is now in naija while the basic pack I ordered is still no where to be found(hoping it will arrive soon as well)

Interested in the hub? You can book it for 22k. It's the R3 version with 8kw+ cumulative capacity. It will come with a remote as well
So the Sonoff CH4 8.8kw capacity with remote controls has arrived and in its original packaging.
Application scenarios:
1. CH1 control you lightens
2. CH2 your pumping machine
3. CH3 Security lights
4. CH4 freezer/fridge
Each of the CH has a 2.2kw load capacity.

Reach me if interested.
