It's not about the inverter it's about the charging current and the concurrent load on it. So assume you are doing 2kw concurrent on it(charging and load) then you need to multiply that by number of hours you are using it for.

You can easily flash new firmware onto the inverter that avoids this bug entirely.

Right if there is such firmware that has the bug fixed, for those using the MPP MK series there is a custom firmware for that. However i use the GK series and for other clones like felicity and co there isn't an appropriate firmware (or I have not seen one)

You can also send commands over serial that may achieve thesame result.

I recently had a Steca 5kva go out of calibration with its voltage readings. I simply recalibrated it by sending commands over serial.

Yeah one can do that as well and then put a Cron to automate the process. Using solpiplog is hassle free for me since I already hervest my data through it anyway.

I see you still shy away from the ~~recommended~~ 28.8v to 29v float for that LFP. I think I have to do a lil' more research on the pros and cons of my own choice sha.

It's not good to keep the battery at such a high voltage, it impacts the lifespan of the cells. Impact may not be very significant if you cycle it daily. I won't even bulk charge @28.8v talkless of a float.. You wonder why pylontech is able to give longer years warranty? Some of the reason is because their BMS is setup to maintain charging at low voltage and low C rates. An LFP will be fully charge @3.45v per cell so there is no motivation for charging at 3.6+v

This is for folks like me who are using axpert variants for their lithium batteries that experience a well known early float bug. The work around for this is to set bulk and float at the same voltage e.g 28v which is a high voltage to float lithium. In my case before now, I just manage with 27.4v float and wait it out until the battery get full. However with solpiplog running on my pi and BMV in the mix, I am now able to automate that as follows:

@>91% SOC set float at 27v
@<90% SOC set float at 28v

That way the optimal juice from my panels goes into my LFP. So if you have a way to achieve the above you will be able to work around the float bug.
Renewable energy is both the present and future!

Use either AGM1 if you like to stay at 90% SOC max or sealed lead acid if you like to charge up to 100% SOC

So i think 202ah cells and not 280ah cells would be a win win config for all.grade A CATL /Eve cells

1cbm is 64 cells, and 1 cell would cost about 80 to 100usd shipping& clearing inclusive.

Seems no serious discount for a group buy, so may be better people banding up to buy and ship 0.5cbm, or less to reduce the risk/temptation inherent in tying up funds with 1 person.

Where are you getting these quotes? Is it air freight?

So long as your mustpower has adjustable voltage settings float/bulk it will work for lithium and you don't have do anything special with your powermr cc just select the Lithium charge profile accordingly

@ojeysky, so members here got 120ah from the felicity, thats pretty poor. has anybody opened it, what kind of cells are inside? name and capacity

Yiy has option to set float/bulk so it should be able to charge lithium batteries though may not be as optimal, the cells are prismatic. I think @adausa may have more experience to share

4 12v quanta/flooded is not equal to real 48v 200AH Lifepo4. The question will be whether the felicity is truly 200AH 48v if it is then I will suggest you go for it but I know some people have found it to be 120AH.
