Eyop: In Akwa-Ibom state for instance, were the indigenes clamouring for sharing of money? I understand that such happens but an honest leader wouldn't be intimidated by the pressure of sharing money."an honest leader" that is the only hard thing to find in my country Nigeria. Why why because, he would rather adhear to the intrest of his people which is sharing money than developing our country |
Eyop:i understood you but i have my own reasons why i blame the citizens. Some elections are beyond my immagination. The heart of men are unpredictable so you can never know who will do better. Let me get back to riggin of elections as you earlier narrated, Nigeria is a country whereby we have seen corruption as part of our culture including every aspect of leadership in nigeria. I believe we will get to the solution someday. Then back to my formal issue, when an election is on, only one person will emerge as a winner, the only duty i owe him is to give him/her my total support, but in a situation where by the citizens are clamouring for sharing of money rather than finding a solution to their current problems, who then will i blame? |
a country where the citizens will prefer to have the money meant for political campaign to be shared hand and hand, rather than providing sufficient infrastructer, we have one of the the bad roads in the world yet billions of naira are shared to individuals at every campaign, i rather blame the foolish citizens than to put blames on the politicians who do use our foolishness as a tools for their selfish desires |

balamz: obey your mum she knows the best for you than anyone else.yet she is afriad because a certain man called pastor said that she is robbing God. Because she could not pack her money and give them? |
an argument broke out between me and my mum, she just came back home, unfortunately i was not ahome because i went to celebrate our new yam festival, watching masquarades as they display some certain entertainments, my mum immediately got angry when she founds out that i was at the square. She now begin to preach of what their pastor said about those that do go to watch masqurade and patronise them, may be given then 20 naira for the entertainments. Instead of coming to church and listen to the word of God. To my greatest suprise, she said that any man that dosent pay his tithe to God(church) is robbing God and will go to hell fire. Am in trouble now, my mum have entered into the to hands of brainwashing fraudsters, how can i deliver her from such bondage? |
only God knows how much i hate this OKADA of a thing |
all i can look foward to are those nigerian herbs, they might be of great help to fight that disease |
shevon: OP, you will do well to provide the source of this news. I'm not in support of the USA not giving Nigeria this same ZMAPP drug, but having to post such info (which will only make people throw insults and hate at the Americans) without credible source is not one thing that I will support.thanks, you are reasonable not like other posters above me that bring shame to nigeria |
berem: Boko haram killing innocent and helpless nigerians. Police who is supposed to be "our friend" joins boko haram to also kill. The protesters were not carrying arms and were harmless, why shoot at them na?and you believe the crap? there would have been many deads if police have shot at the crowd rather than hiting only one person at the head. Waiting for nigeria police to tell their own part of stories before i comment fully. Nigerians latest weapon is now PROPAGANDAS |

Africa has indeed turned the corner. A continent once synonymous with death, disease and destruction is showing signs of improvement. Virtually unscathed by the global financial slowdown, the African continent boasts some of the fastest growing economies in the world. Nigeria, Ghana and Tanzania are some of the countries leading the way in this exclusive economic growth club. With a combined population size of 1 billion, 70% under the age of 30 and an annual spend of $600 billion, the African continent is an attractive business proposition for any investor. It comes as no surprise then that the U.S. is making huge strides to accommodate Africans. Hosting one of the largest gatherings of African Leaders in Washington, the U.S. is showing the world -- and sending a signal to its closest rival, China -- that it can and will have African influence, which it can convert into commercial opportunities that can translate to receipts. Chinese dominance The acceleration of China across Africa has been breathtaking. A long standing business relationship with the continent has translated to huge trade volumes in excess of $200 billion in 2013, doubling what the U.S. achieved in that same year. Read this: Twitter reacts to U.S.-African Leaders Summit Taking the world by surprise, a liberalized African continent voted with its feet changing suppliers -- re- affirming China's dominance, with the U.S. fast closing the gap; the Washington conference is confirmation of President Obama's new ambition in making up lost ground. Challenges Security challenges facing the African continent are huge. Africa is by no means a picnic. The U.S. government will have to put security at the top of it agenda as American businesses expand operation across the African continent. Instability in Libya, Central African Republic and extremist Islamic groups can be a constant threat. Doing business in Africa will have its hazards; the business environment can be harsh and unforgiving. Yet, despite these challenges, exceptional growth figures in Nigeria prove that despite repeated and sustained attacks by militant group Boko Haram, Nigeria is still considered a thriving hub for businesses worldwide. Eye twitching, eyelid tics and spasms are pretty common. Usually only the bottom lid of one eye is involved, but the top eyelid also can twitch. Most eye twitches come and go, although they can last for weeks or even months. I once received an e-mail from a patient's wife, who told me her left lower eyelid had been twitching for several weeks, and it was driving her crazy. Could I help? To find a solution for eye twitching, we needed to determine the underlying cause of this annoying problem. Called myokymia in doctor lingo, these rippling muscle contractions in an eyelid can be triggered by: Stress Tiredness Eye strain Caffeine Alcohol Dry eyes Nutritional imbalances Allergies Almost all sudden-onset eyelid twitching is benign, meaning the condition is not serious or a sign of a medical problem. However, this kind of eye twitching also can be hard to treat. The only option for making the twitching stop may be to figure out the cause and deal with it. More serious forms of eyelid twitching are caused by neurological conditions such as blepharospasm or hemifacial spasm. These conditions are much less common and should be diagnosed and treated by an eye doctor. Get Adobe Flash player When your eyelid is twitching, you may feel that everyone else can see it, as in this animation that exaggerates the movement. But usually the spasm is so subtle that others wouldn't even notice. Why Does My Eye Twitch? Stress: While we're all under stress at times, our bodies react in different ways. Eye twitching can be one sign of stress, especially when it is related to vision problems such as eye strain (see below). Reducing the cause of the stress can help make the twitching stop. Tiredness: A lack of sleep, whether because of stress or some other reason, can trigger eyelid spasms. Catching up on your sleep can help. Eye strain: Vision-related stress can occur if, for instance, you need glasses or a change of glasses. Your eyes may be working too hard, triggering eyelid twitching. Computer eye strain from overuse of computers, tablets and smartphones is also a very common cause of vision-related stress. |
Toyolad: Hmmmmm,I think this is in relation to traditions and superstitions ALONE.reason being that,we only accept these traditional and cultural beliefs because we see people adhering to them and we think "it's fun and would be advantageous to me".i wish i could understand what you mean from your post. Religion=believe, who then brought the awareness to you? |

cnwamo: Wise move by the F.G, I hope the US govt responds well.Obama have been praying for a day like this, the trap he kept for nigeria for some months ago have gotten nigeria. We are bragging of been superior when we were having anti-gay issues with US of A, we boasted of been African champion. Today, ebola wants to wipe us away from the surface of the earth and we are now crying and calling on America. One lesson we should learn is that we should mind how we talk. Nyako and Sanusi can testify of this moral lesson because it states that "experience is the best teacher" |
