Very quick to know local champion when think say abroad na heaven, white man na God.my prayer for you is may you travel and may they give you there trade mark treatment .

slyfoxxjoe:
and you're suffering from serious illiteracy.. where you there to judge what really happened? You take the account of a disgruntled customer and immediately pass judgment.. the idea that that airline, which I use frequently by the way, is racist is an unbelievably stupid thing to say. A passenger cannot be kicked off without the captains consent and for the captain to leave his cockpit to kick off a passenger, you know it is for something serious. Illiterates like you who have never left your local government and don't know how these things work will be the first to come online and shout racism because that must be the only reason for every misfortune a Nigerian faces abroad inspite of our well known loud and unruly behaviour. You better park well oga.

you must be mad.you suffer from what we refer to as slave mentality,in your case it is deep slave mentality

slyfoxxjoe:
the fact she is a frequent flyer with them and this is the first time she is experiencing this sort of thing should tell you it's not about racism. Why don't we Nigerians ever consider that we may be at fault? Maybe she did really stink..

name one aid that helps you,is it does from sorrors that is designed to change government to there suiting,or those that are designed to encourage gay-ism claiming human right or let me guess it should be bill gates own which is design to bring in G.M.Os .my friend you here the good talk, you actually think the white man likes you.you better wake up fast

gameaddict:

I wouldn’t call any aid peanuts, especially since some of them go towards helping the underserved. And sometimes, there are transfers of knowledge and technical capacity associated with it.

I also don’t know how you decided that we don’t need their aid - maybe you need to see the remote areas of Nigeria to see how people are impacted by aid efforts especially those ignored by our leaders.

Sure, it helps American businesses but the core questions involve whether lives are being impacted positively and whether we want to and can do it ourselves.

As to the outcome of diplomacy especially with regards to Libya, that’s a discussion for another day.

I’m just looking at the rationale behind their comments on the Obama administration and given the state of affairs, I’m still certain that the comments were aimed at winning Trump over.
Politics / Re: Boko Haram: Nigeria Did Not Get Required Support From Obama – Presidency by ojlifa: 10:23am On May 11, 2018
first of all the aid given ,i dear say is pea nut for Nigeria especially when we do not need it,in fact if you look at the aid properly you quickly discover that the aid in itself is designed to help american business as some kind of subsidy to allow them sell things like vaccines .

Secondly it is the duty of Trump to worry about American interest while it is the duty of Buhari to worry about Nigerian interest,we work together when our interest ally and take different sides when our interest defer. eg when america bombed Libya ,Nigerian went along rather than looking out for its interest ,today all the weapon in Libya are now what are been used to kill Nigerians.if we had refused Americas request then Nigerians wouldn't have been dying now.so my brother the hole idea of diplomacy is the ability to look out for the interest of your people

gameaddict:

If you remember, Trump’s ambassador to the UN threatened nations that didn’t support their vote with withdrawal of aid. That is what I was making reference to.

We may not need it but Trump’s number one interest isn’t our national interest, it’s his country’s and their policies.

So my thinking is one way or the other, Buhari’s team was trying to win him over - and if it ever came to that, get him in the mood to forgive the vote and negotiate over supporting such policies or worst come to worst, explain why they couldn’t and won’t support. It’s normal diplomacy.

I feel no pity for him,
Yar'adua brought his death on himself.

2). He smoked like a chimney even when he knew he had a heart condition.

Servicing an energetic and pretty woman like that is enough to even cut short the lifespan of a healthy young man.

i have told you ,you suffer from deep slave mentality, see how you are forcing yourself to write English because in your slave mind the mastery of a language (english) is equivalent to knowledge or education.my friend you are a slave .your view of life is that of slavery, wake up the Spanish do not speak english, neither do the Chinese nor the Germans .so when you want to write, write in your native language because writing big grammar doesn't make you knowledgeable rather it shows you are a good slave .surely you do not read well because i am quite sure that i named names in several categories but surely you didn't see that because you lack knowledge, you have to be one of the lazy youths buhari was talking about

KingOfAmebo:

You seem to have a fatal heredity problem with comprehension, Your intellect mirrors that of a dropout...how old are you exactly? I'll rather spend my quality time watching African Magic than engaging in a convo with a retard. Sadly, i have honored an empty skull with a reply...this is entirely my fault, I promise I will not make the silly mistake of replying a dullard like you again, I promise.

Further more, why is it taking you forever to name just one Nigerian with more qualifications than Tony Blair's wife? Now you agree there is none so why the madness and foolery? you speak like you already know someone...obviously, you are just a confused fellow...you just jump at threads to spew trash without any proof to buttress your point.

Dont border wasting your energy replying me cuz I just won't read it...nothing reasonable will come out from the chicken brain of yours..abeg go school.

When men are talking you keep quiet teenager.

my friend quite, your thinking is that of a slave.it is called slave mindedness.you ask no question rather you came with your slavish assumption because you sew a white colored woman you assumed that she has to be qualified. now please explain to us what characteristics makes her more qualified than Nigerians.because if its education, she no go school we have Nigerians with 4 P.H.Ds ,if its money she no get dangote who is appointing her rich pass am,if is woman to woman alakija rich pass am.if it is children ,even my mama born pass am,not just born but raise them all up.so in your slave mind tell me what makes her more qualified

KingOfAmebo:

Start by telling us what you have done with your life and show us which Nigerian is more qualified than this woman, if not then take the back seat and let sensible people talk.

I asked a very simple question, instead of you to counter my claims with proof you are here talking trash...this is the obvious reason you keep failing exams.
Career / Re: Forget Sentiments NO Nigerian Is More Qualified Than Tony Blair's Wife. by ojlifa: 1:39pm On May 04, 2018
My friend keep quite there with your slave mentality.who told you that we do not have Nigerians more qualified than her,how many Nigerians do you know.if you hear of the achievement of Nigerians you go faint.or you think because you haven't done anything with your life others are in same boat with you

KingOfAmebo:
Ealier today I read a post that the Board of Dangote Cement Plc, global, announced the appointment of Cherie Blair and Mick Davies as Independent Non-Executive Directors.

https://www.nairaland.com/4485453/dangote-cement-appoints-cherie-blair

Typical of Nigerians, some are quick to rant about this appointment and asked if "there is no Nigerian more qualified for the job"

I repeat... forget sentiments, this woman is well qualified for the job. Aliko Dangote is NOT a politician but a business man. Read through Cherie Blair's profile but this time slowly and tell me which Nigerian is more qualified.

Cherie Blair CBE, QC is a leading barrister with over 35 years’ experience in arbitration, mediation, public international law, human rights, employment law and European Community law. She studied law at the London School of Economics (LSE) and graduated with a First Class Degree in 1975. While studying for her Bar examinations she also taught Law at the University of Westminster. Cherie came top of her year in her Bar examinations and was called to the Bar in 1976. She was appointed Queen’s Counsel (QC) in 1995.

In 2000, shortly before the implementation of the Human Rights Act, Cherie and 21 other prominent Barristers set up a ground breaking legal practice, Matrix Chambers. She has also argued cases in the House of Lords, one of the most well-known being the Begum case. She is an accredited Advanced Mediator under the ADR Chambers/Harvard Law Project and an Elite Mediator with Clerksroom.

Cherie Blair, has appeared in the European Court of Justice and in multiple Commonwealth jurisdictions and also lectures internationally. She is the Chancellor Emeritus and Honorary Fellow of Liverpool John Moores University; Governor Emeritus and Honorary Fellow of the LSE and the Open University (D.Univ.Open 1999); LLD (Hons), University of Liverpool (2003); Hon.D.Lit UMIST (2003); Doctor of Laws (Westminster University).

Cherie Blair is the Founder and Chair of Omnia Strategy where she focuses on strategic international legal and advisory work and practices as a barrister, representing over 30 governments as well as numerous multinational corporations in international disputes.

In 2012, she was designated to serve on the ICSID panel of arbitrators and is a panellist at the Kuala Lumpur Regional Centre for Arbitration. She continues to work independently, primarily as an arbitrator and mediator

Cherie is closely involved with various charities and is a strong advocate for women’s rights. She is the founder of the Cherie Blair Foundation for Women, which runs programmes to support women entrepreneurs across the developing world, including Africa. She is also Vice Chair of the International Council on Women’s Business Leadership founded by Secretary Hillary Clinton.

Cherie sits as an Honorary Chair of the World Justice Project. In 2007, she received the Eleanor Roosevelt Val-Kill medal in recognition of her high ideals and courageous actions.

In 2013, she was awarded the CBE in the New Year Honours for her services to women’s issues and to charity in the UK and overseas.

Cherie is also an active campaigner for prison reform and was ‘President of The Commission on English Prisons Today’ between 2007 and 2009, under the auspices of the Howard League for Penal Reform.

She is an adviser to “B Team,” a not-for-profit initiative formed by a global group of leaders, to be a driving force for social, environmental and economic benefit. She is wife of former British Prime Minister Tony Blair.

NB. I dont work for Aliko Dangote and he is not my Uncle. I am a Nigerian and it hurts that we dont have people to match someone like her career wise, at least presently.

rubbish, you do traditional marriage they give you certificate at your local government.so who are you telling this lies to.men men draw your ears no marry any woman for court.do traditional wedding, the rest white wedding and all is just a waste of your money repeating the same thing marry cheap and save money for your family .

HeWrites:
According to the story shared on Facebook, a man who refused to do court and white wedding with his baby mama is now begging to wed her in court after she got an opportunity to relocate abroad with her family. The story is quite interesting.

Read below;
“I got pregnant nine years ago while dating my current husband and then the issue of marriage came up. I wasn’t working then. He told my family and I that he doesn’t want a court marriage for no reason. My parents tried talking to him, I cried and begged him severally to legalize his marriage with me but he stood his grounds not to wed me in a court.

I involved his family members to help me beg him but they said, he’s old enough to make his decisions. He even refused to do a white wedding either because my church requested for a court certificate, so we ended up doing only traditional marriage.

I later got tired and gave up on the matter. I was hurt and broken but I resolved to marry him like that just to save myself and my family the shame of having a baby outside wedlock. My dad was angry and disappointed in him but he didn’t care and because of that my dad vowed to see me a successful and independent woman with or without him.

After I gave birth to my baby, my dad helped me secure a job with a multinational company and things started to turn around for me. I could now take care of myself and secure a future.

Though I married my husband but I never forgave him from my heart and it made me not to do anything in my husband’s name.

We currently have three kids together but all my properties are in the name of my children. I never used him as my next of kin either.

Just last month my company decided to transfer me to a branch in Texas and the company is willing to pay for my entire family to relocate with me. My husband’s business is not doing too well and he’s willing to relocate also but we have no legal certificate to show that we are married.

Now he wants us to go to the court to legalize our marriage and I have said “No” My dad has threatened to disown me if I ever go with him to court.

He’s been tagging me everywhere as a bad wife who is not loyal to her husband, spoiling my family also. His family members have been calling me trying to persuade me but I told them I’m old enough to make my decisions also and I have stood my ground just like he did to me nine years ago.”

who told you Nigeria need forgiveness for a national interest decision.so we should side one religion against another abi ??

gameaddict:
Its quite simple.

Trump is known to bash Obama and try to one up his policies and actions - remember the inauguration crowd debacle?

By naming Obama, Buhari’s team is trying to win over Trump - maybe get him to forgive them over the Jerusalem vote even - and get something good out of the meeting. It’s politics the way Trump likes it.

Whether its true or not, Buhari is still trying to punish Dasuki for stealing the arms fund so there is every incentive for the US to have stayed away from such a corrupt government - maybe Buhari has forgotten that plot and his campaign claims.

At the end of the day, the hope is that both parties are voted out soon enough.

braine:

LAW 10 of the book 48 Laws of Power says -"INFECTION: AVOID THE UNHAPPY AND UNLUCKY"

Kanye West did not apply such wisdom here.

Edit: just for those quoting and misinterpreting me, we all know Trump seems to be quite unhappy and unlucky (with people especially non-whites, even tho he is POTUS) and we all know how we feel about him.

It's like Davido or Wizkid trying to associate with Buhari right now, you know it's suicidal.

let me say this, such company need to be sued for discrimination ,if people are allowed to carry chasbi ,rosary ,bible or Koran to that interview then traditionalist must be allowed to carry there charm.if they are allow to pray then traditionalist must be allowed to recite incantation .Nigeria is a circular state not a christian or Muslim state.in fact if anything Nigeria is a traditional state

JARUSHUB:
We know the unemployment situation is on the high side, however we never knew it has taken has taken a new dimension. A top indigenous upstream oil and gas company invited candidates for a test (over 42,000 applied). One of the requirements stated in the invite is: “charms will not be allowed”. Which means candidates may have been caught wearing charms during previous recruitment. There is also a rumour about yet another firm that invited candidates for an interview, and some were caught with charms around their waist.

It looks like job hunting in Nigeria is becoming war!

However, you don’t need charms to pass aptitude tests, interviews or assessment center exercises, but you probably need specialised coaching on all to scale through successfully. And these services are available in Nigeria.

surely you are part of the youths he is talking about, you and his son. when you refer to 60% mathematically that implies the majority and the majority means all or almost all .unfortunately he still haven't told us how his lazy son, who doesn't work bought a 10million naira bike. that boy needs to be before the EFCC explaining himself

rusher14:
Some of us know you simply choose to be mischievious.

Did he say ALL youth of Nigeria are lazy?

Besides semantics, I put it to you, the Nigerian youth do not display enough creativity.

How much research, patents, world class artistic work would you find in our institutions?
Let me guess..that's government's fault.

Ok let's go to the number of our young people who have access to the internet. How many are involved in programming, animation, international research syndicates?

Let me guess...that's the government's fault.

Here on Nairaland, start a topic with a misleading headline and wait to find how many would spot the disconnect between the headline and the body of the message.

Let me guess... it's the government's fault.

The youth of Nigeria are lacking in creativity and please don't give me Nollywood and Afro music. It can take only a few entrants.

We need people who want to create and constantly think of solutions.

We need people who channel their energy positively and not in cult activities, Yahoo or drug use.

Talking about drugs, this poor nation is experiencing a new wave of drug abuse...tramadol, codeine, skunk etc.
That's what the nation is about.

Many Nigerians are of the misconception that the country is rich but the reality is that we aren't.

Yes we have the potential to be wealthy, but we are a poor nation in every way, shape or form.

It is your choice to accept the criticism.

You can go renegade and discount it.
It is your life, your future. Play it as you wish.

massage me

Immaculatesnow:

dude if you need or want to work with a good social media you have to look at these things before paying someone like me for example

1) i have over 1500 subscribers on youtube, over half a million views and 12000 hours watched content

2) i have over 1200 usa followers on facebook, over 40 groups on facebook with over 1 million followers combined

3) i have close 1000 followers on twitter

4) over 200 followers on soundcloud

5) finally my social engagement is pretty high for a newbie

so for a brand to pay me to manager all their social network platform and grow it and mine cost me 50k monthly to run between internet data 15k and government electricity 35k total of 50k, that brand has to pay me a minimum of 120,000 naira monthly for me to work effectively for them and for a long time.
