PoliticsRe: Jonathan: Leaner Cabinet Impossible For Now by ojubi(m): 5:20pm On May 20, 2011
Not just GEJ carbinet that need to be reduced. We need 36 senators, 36 house of reps members, 10 state house of assembly members for all the states. Salary and allowances of cabinets members and that of national assembly members should be cut to that of level 16 civil servants. Insted creating states the existing parasitic states should be merged.

eros:
Wow!!! God help those of us who want to build houses in Lagos ooooo. I am beginning to reconsider building a house in Lagos.
MY DEAR FRIEND, DO NT BE THREATEN OR DISCOURAGED BY THOSE FIGURES, IF BUILDING A HOUSE IN LAGOS IS YOUR DREAM WEN THE TIME COMES THAT MONEY WILL BE CHIKEN FEE.
IN 2008 I ALWAYS TELL MY COLLEAGUES IN MY FORMAL OFFICE THAT I WILL SOON START MY BUILDING IN PORTHACOURT AND THEY WILL ALL LAUGH ME TO SCORN COS THEN I WAS EARNING 32,000 NAIRA. BUT BEYOND THAT I HAD A UNIQUE DREAM OF MY OWN AND TODAY I OWN VARIOUS PLOTS OF LAND IN PORTHACOURT. MY BIGEST DREAM TODAY IS TO BECOME A REAL ESTATE DEVELOPER IN PORTHACOURT AND CALABAR.(COS I INVEST MY SAVINGS INTO THE BAYING OF CHEAP PLOT OF LANDS A LITTLE BID FAR AWAY FROM DEVELOP AREAS WHICH I WILL LATTER SELL UPON GOOD APPRECIATION TO BUILD MY OWN HOUSES). I KNOW I CAN DO IT YES I CAN. WHY NOT. ONCE AGAIN REMAIN FOCUS DO NT BE DISCOURAGE.

PhonesOutragiuos; M.t.n. Charging Suscribers For Undelivered S.m.s. by ojubi(op): 3:40pm On Aug 05, 2010
Someone should please explain to me if M.T.N. is morally justified to charge subscribers for undelivered messages. They have been doing this to me for a long time and i ve been keeping my cool, but yesterday i was trying to send an sms to a friend of mine in Canada. the message keep bouncing back, upon checking my balance i realised that mtn has stolen all my money for a job they could not do.
Cant NCC or somebody ask this comm. networks to be successfully sending messages before debiting subscribers account?
CareerRe: Nurses Forum by ojubi(op): 10:41pm On Jul 31, 2010
I m a general nurse in Nigeria, i left private practice in January 2009 to join a multinational on contract bases. At the moment i make up 5 million naira a year (and i invest my savings in real estate). This is because i m yet to be converted from contract to full staff. I ve to work for a few years to achieve that. if i finally become a staff i could make close to 20 million naira per year. But my family and some of my friends think i should leave my oil job for the united states if i wish to ve a fulfilling career. Please those of you abroad what do u think? Advice me please. thank you.

Jobs/VacanciesTo God Be The Glory. Finaly I Got A Job At Agip. by ojubi(op): 5:12pm On Jun 16, 2009
It all started like a joke. One day i was in the hospital and my HOD told that AGIP is collecting C.V. from male nurses.

I quickly went there to submit but was turned down by the security personnel's.

She gave me a tel. no. of a nurse that works there who finally submitted the C.V.4 me. i was invited for interview, and when the result came out i was hired.
People pls don't give up miracles still exist. Just pay your tithe sow seed and believe in God. u will make it.
RomanceRe: Help, I Don't Want To Leave My Wife Behind by ojubi(m): 10:37am On Mar 01, 2009
I would advice u to come down with her as u are likely to get a job immediately with an oil firm.
As for ur wife it is not really easy with nurses down here b/c majority of the jobs available are private clinic jobs and they are not even manageable. If she can exercise patient she can get a job in a teaching hospital with time.
This is manageable and this is going to give her enough time to take care of the kids
personally i am a nurse that just left the private clinics league to an oil firm. CHEERS.

Jokes EtcRe: How You Spent Your Xmas? by ojubi(m): 9:21am On Jan 03, 2009
I spent mine saving lives in the hospital.
On the 25th of dec. there was a less fatal accident involving a jeep, in the new road area of porthacourt near air force junction. Many people including motorist, okada, legedies, and some aero contractor staff who`s office was close to the scene came out to witness the accident, all of a sudden a trailer from no where lost control and ran into all of them.
An eye witness said 9 persons lost their lives at the spot, while they broth 4 to my clinic 2 including one lady where already gone, i personally saved one who was having neurogenic shock by giving mouth to mouth respiration without even covering his mouth with a piece of cloth, because if i ve waited for the next 3 minutes the guy would have been history.
The other guy was saved by my colleagues.
on the 27th of dec. they broth another 3 casualties 2 were already gone so we saved only one and reefed the rest to the mortuary. EVEN on new year day i was going around town with an ambulance.
May GOD deliver us from this phenomenon called Christmas rush.

PoliticsRe: Yar'adua Seeks End To Immunity For Leaders by ojubi(m): 8:52pm On Dec 10, 2008
Curruption is endemic in nigeria. Let me tell u it is not the function of immunity clause per say. i am going to to proove this to u.
The ministers, the federal and state house of assembly members, local govt chairmen, top military officers, even civil servants ETC have no immunity.
But this group of persons are perpetually and congenitaly corrupt. The governors are only worse than them becose they control more funds.
As for ABOKI YARADUA the guy is AN ARDENT JOKER. He has the likes of IBORI, ODILI, PDP, IWU,ETC in his kitchen carbinet, and even have the guts to nominate a former governor for ministorial possition.
HE IS GOING TO END UP WORSE THAN OBASANJO AND THE VECIOUS CIRCLE WILL CONTINUE UNTILL THIS COUNTRY DIVIDE.
WHY IS HE AFRAID OF RIBADU? CORRUPTION.

PoliticsDo Muslims Have Any Moral Justification To Sue For Peaceful Co- Existence? by ojubi(op): 10:15pm On Dec 08, 2008
I was watching R. S. T. V. news here in porthacourt and Muslim's came out of the mosque to be interviewed by reporters and thy were all begging Christian's for forgiveness towards the just concluded jos riot, and at the same time advocating for peaceful co-existence with their xtian counterperts.

Is this plea sustainable bearing in mind that this same religion believe that when you die fighting for ALLAH u will be REWARDED WITH 7 ABI 17 VIRGINS in heaven? Or is this another collective way of diverting our minds away from the JOS horror

RomanceRe: Should I Relate My Health Problems To Her Beffore The Wedding? by ojubi(op): 7:56am On Nov 18, 2008
I'm saying they can work things out as long as it's not HIV o. cheesy

MY fellow naira landers, pls permit me to tell u  that HIV aids is no longer the death warant it use to be. Someone who ve aids and is on anti retrovirus and good diet can live hail and Hatty for the rest of his/her life. Aids is like every other deceases. Malaria alone kills ten times more than aids annually. I'm sure many of u can marry a woman/man with cancer, the survival rate of advance cancer is 0 to 5 years. i am not stigmatising here i am only trying to tell u that some conditions are worse than AIDS. Diabetes has no known cure but can only be control, same thing with hypertension which is carpable of terminating life at a very little emotional problem or physical excision. SO WHY THE STIGMA FOR HIV AIDS.
The most intresting thing is that people with AIDS can give birth to kids withot aids through caecerian session and artificial feeding so what is our problem.?
MICHEAL JORDAN was HIV POSITIVE but as it is anti retroviral ve driven away the virus from his blood stream and traces of it can only be found in his bone marrows. I am sure a lot of lades will love to ve him.

What about we health care providers? a lot of time u just cannot avoid niddle stick injury no matter how careful u are. would u kill your self ? no. u will go ahead helping people out of their predicament. It is worse with those of us working in the surgical department.
STOP THE STIGMA NON  OF US IS GOING TO LIVE FOR EVER.
RomanceShould I Relate My Health Problems To Her Beffore The Wedding? by ojubi(op): 11:16pm On Nov 17, 2008
We all ve our individual health challenges, both internal and external problems, majority of these problems we are completely aware of, but we never get to muster the courage to tell our partners even when we know we are so close to getting married.

I was speaking to a very lovely lady in church yesterday, whom i admire so much but completely hid my feelings from her and she revail her health problems to me. this she would never do if she knew my feelings for her, although she did it b/c i am a medical personnel and i ve already started proffering a Persia to her condition.

I work in an operating theatre where we see serious fertility cases rising from SALPINGECTOMY (removal of the fallopian tubes which may be single or bilateral in rare cases), ovarian cystectomy, etc being carried out on single ladies in their early 20s. 90% of this cases are purely hormonal disorder related as there are not caused by this innocent girls. But they are capable of causing delay but not total denial in conception which the average black man and his family will fail to understand.

The male folk is not left out of this problems as we vie seen young men with low sperm count, watery sperm, testicular absence, hormonal in-balance etc.

This problems are not reproductive related alone but general deceases affecting our bodies.

My question is do we go into serious relationships like marriage or even dating without telling our spouse our challenging health problems.? If you get married to some body before realising one of this problems what will your reaction be.
