But for the dream of a people/a nation, to be realized, it has to be in the interests and the dreams of the individuals that make up that nation.

It is, first of all, the responsibility of the people to understand their dream collectively, teach it to their children, make it their responsibility, individually and collectively as they do with their businesses and careers and commit themselves to it. It is their duty to know that no other individual aspiration or ambition must contradict the "big dream"
After identifying that "big dream".

Goals and methods of accomplishment are necessitated in place and that avails each individual a window to function, both as a person and also as a member of a nation. When these are done, the dream becomes real to the constituent of a nation as much as their own business; room is created for collective participation.

Lol, I am a believer and preaching Christ to people within a short time of meeting or knowing them, can be a huge turn off. It's always best to let the Holy Spirit guide/lead.

I can remember vividly 2011, some of my senior men, 4 tight friends, 2 just graduated from University while 2 was living life for the moment.... As God may have it, They met a man that loves their way and that was how the man requested for their credentials, The 2 of them that submitted was given a governmental job(custom to be precised) now "money nobi problem" while the remaining two are still patching up with life.... So it's good to get the cert even if it ain't useful after graduation, you never can tell what the future holds for you...

Meanwhile you can still do business while school. ...

But sha, I suffered for that school, spent 7 years to study a 5 year course without any extra years. and i have a doctor friend that spent 10years!

The calendar was very slow before the appointment of Prof. Elujoba and prof. Ogunbodede as VC. But things are better now.
At least some of us that were admitted in 2015 are now in 500 level.

Lol......the editing has distorted the pictures. No doubt OAU has some of the most beautiful architectural buildings but due to lack of maintenance, they are becoming shadows of themselves. Most haven't been painted for decades. Reason is why UI and UNILAG are far ahead.

Take for example no hostel in UNILAG or UI can ever be this bad and unkempt like these ones in the first two pictures. Now compare this to the worst hostel in unilag Enijoku from the last two pictures and see what i am talking about.

Modified: Heard most of the hostels have been renovated and are now habitable. A good one i must admit. I will appreciate if i can get pictures of the new look.
