Apostle Johnson Suleman, of Omega Fire Ministry, has vowed to fight those fighting Christians, across the country.

Suleman gave the warning while declaring that he’s not afraid of being arrested.

In a tweet via his verified twitter handle, the fiery preacher berated pastors who have been silent over the killing of Christians in the North.

Stressing that he is, “born for this,”the controversial clergy man stated that, “true Christians” will join him in his fight.

He wrote: “I don’t fear media or arrest.. not any threat. Am born for this. I will fight those who fight Christians and true Christians will join me.

“Pastors in Nigeria are quiet at the killings of northern Christians cos dey are afraid of arrest and media been set up against them. Shame.”

The Auchi-born Pastor also berated foreign media outlets for their silence on the killings of Christians in Benue, Taraba States respectively.

“Shame that @CNN,@BBCBreaking news are silent at the killings of Northern Christians…It was Adamawa, Benue and now it’s Taraba. where next?, he tweeted.

Electing leaders based on sentiments and Favoritism is what is hindering rapid growth and development in Africa, i have nothing against Mr George Weah but i personally reckon he will have served Liberia better as a "Sports Minister' and not "President'. Liberia has a very long way to go in terms of economic and social development and this requires someone that is very experienced and very intellectually sound and i doubt if Mr Weah is that individual......

On Sunday, January 7, 2018, soldiers deployed to Arufu a boundary town between Taraba and Benue State disarmed and arrested 9 Civilian Joint Task Force CJTF with 5 AK 47 rifles. According to reports, initially a reinforcement of CJTF came to prevent the security operatives from transporting the arrested CJTF to Benue headquarters. The reinforcements later withdrew.

During the preliminary investigation the arrested CJTF claimed that the weapons were issued to them by some elements in Benue state as they reportedly said they are a legally constituted body by the Benue state government.

Interrogation of the suspected militia revealed that the gang had members of about 60 men camped in Gbeyi, Benue state. It was also gathered that over 1,000 of the gang team were stationed at different camps while 700 out of them bear arms.

The group said they were being trained by some ex-service men assembled all over Benue state.

They are currently in custody as investigation continues.

Ekiti state Governor, Ayodele Fayose, has reacted to the latest attack of Fulani herdsmen in Benue.

Fayose condemned the killing of two police officers and said “it has gotten to the level of terrorism and ethnic cleansing”.

In a statement signed by by his Special Assistant on Public Communications and New Media, Lere Olayinka, the Governor noted that the issue was getting out of hand.

“What is happening in Benue and other middle-belt States is more than a strive between herdsmen and local farmers, it has gotten to the level of terrorism and ethnic cleansing. FG must act now.

“Just now, we heard news of the herdsmen attacking the camp of Mobile policemen, Mopol 13 in Benue, killing two officers by slitting their throats.

Do you call people who could invade the camp of mobile policemen in a guerilla manner & overpower armed Mopol mere Fulani herdsmen?” part of the statement read.

Fayose added that President Muhammadu Buhari must take decisive steps, to stop what he described asan attempt to wipe the Agatu and Tiv people of Benue state off the face of the earth.

“What is happening in Benue and other States in the North-central is an issue that the President Buhari must have to take decisive steps.

We never had killings like these under previous administrations. It is one killing too many!”

Governor Fayose said no one can deny the fact that the Fulani herdsmen have become a nightmare to Nigerians.

“On the Global Terrorism Index, Fulani militant group (herdsmen) operating in Nigeria and parts of the Central African Republic is the fourth deadliest known terrorist group.

“A group declared as the fourth deadliest terrorist group in the world as far back as 2015 cannot be handled with levity by the federal government as being done presently and the earlier President Buhari is made to realize that his main duty is protect the lives of all Nigerians, the better.

“Most importantly, the silence of the people does not amount to their inability to defend themselves. And it should be known to the powers that be that everybody in Nigeria has rights to life.

“Taking lives cheaply and brazenly as being done by the herdsmen is the height of evil which no responsible government should allow. The federal government must have to take decisive steps to end this pogrom and stop playing to the gallery.

“As it is, police do not have capacity to handle the situation in Benue and we will not be surprised if the herdsmen begin to move from one state to the other to cause further havoc because they are getting away with murder daily.

Therefore, the federal government needs to do more; otherwise, Nigerians will begin to see the herdsmen as the APC hit group,” he said.

People all over the country are condemning the violence/mayhem/havoc perpetrated by the evil herdsmen, and one senseless being is somehwere making comparisons.

Ezeanyaeche told Independent that he is not speaking as an ordinary Nigerian, or a Buhari supporter but as a prophet who had revelations from God.

The cleric vowed that Atiku will never be president, adding that Buhari will complete his eight-year tenure.

He also said that God told him there will be plans to eliminate President Buhari, who, according to him, would hand over to someone who is more decisive.

He said, “What I am saying is what God had revealed to me about this country and about Buhari and what Nigeria is going to be. Everything is working according to God’s plan. God brought this man in to strengthen issues.

“Atiku defeating Buhari in an election is like having a carmel passing through the eye of a needle. It cannot be possible. He cannot. Atiku has lost the key to the presidency since 2006. There is no way he can be the president of Nigeria, even if he contests for 10, 20 times, he will not be the president of this country.

“God revealed it to me. In 2006, I warned him. You finished the 8 years as a Vice President, stay away let another person contribute his quota. But he hardened his heart and that was when God took away that blessing from him.

“So whether he contests against Buhari or he contests against another person, Atiku will not be the president of this country because God has taken the key from him.

The detained former National Security Adviser, Sambo Dasuki, told the Federal High Court in Abuja, that he could no long remember the details of the N400m which he gave to a former National Publicity Secretary, Olisa Metuh, in 2014.

It is the first time Dasuki‎ would be physically asked questions relating to his alleged diversion of funds meant for arms procurement into presidential campaigns of the then ruling PDP in 2015.

Dasuki entered the witness box as Metuh’s eighth defence witness after Justice Okon Abang earlier dismissed the ex-NSA’s application seeking an adjournment pending the determination of his motion in relation to the subpoena issued on him pending before the Court of Appeal.



Dasuki, who has been in the custody of the Department of State Services since December 2015, was produced in court by the agency’s operatives on Wednesday following an application by Metuh that the ex-NSA be summoned.

Led in evidence by Metuh’s lawyer‎, Mr. Emeka Etiaba (SAN), Dasuki said he could not remember the details of the payment of N400m, which is part of the subjects of the charges instituted against Metuh.

He said his incarceration for about two years had deprived him of access to documents that could help him to give any meaningful evidence.

When asked to give the details about the payment, Dasuki said, “That will be very difficult for me to give any details of the money paid to Chief Olisa Metuh and the second defendant (Destra Investment Limited) without reference to my records.

“Three years is a long time.”

Asked when he could have access to his records, Dasuki said, “I have stated earlier that I have been in custody for two years. As soon as authorities decide to obey the subsisting court orders.

“I have four bail court orders and an ECOWAS Court ruling. When they release me, I can go through the records.

‎”That is when I will be able to give a timeline.

As long as I am in detention, the answer is I don’t know.”
