samobaba4u:
When did u graduated that you want to register with COREN?
Why not start from d engineering body which is NSE and register as graduate member first. Don‘t you know COREN will only register you 5yrs after ur graduation & you must have registered with NSE?
Doublefaith, joker, siina and samobaba thanks a lot. COREN can be done 3 years after graduation and it is automatic once you get your MNSE(Member) and you submit required documents and pay necessary dues, i know someone that has done it,what i was just worried about is the position of the Nigerian Army on graduate membership of NSE but i am now satisfied with what i have been able to get from everyone's contribution. God bless you all.

siina: doubting thomas,am talking from experience as someone that has been to the interview and also as a professional too.even the site said U most be registered if you did a professional course registrable unless U dnt understand what U read
Bros, i deserve some degree of respect from u as well as you deserve from me, u need not call me ''doubting thomas'' If you were in my shoes u will anticipate a positive result.Nevertheless, i stated up there that i wanted to be sure so that i will know maybe i will have to re-apply next year. Are you asking me to accept fate on the negative note because of some statement that i have not confirmed to be true?. I have been induced as a graduate member of NSE and i am of the opinion that it could be sufficient..... I asked if anyone has ever experienced disqualification as a result of not being registered and no one has stated that in clear terms in the past posts... all we had were more or less speculations until you stated your experience in your last post, you could have just stated your experience and remove the ''doubting thomas'' you added. I must say i am not comfortable with that. Thanks for your contribution anyway.

siina: you just need to be registered, not compulsory you qualifed
I really still need someone to share his or her experience or knowledge of a person that was disqualified as a result of not being registered. Maybe i will just have to work on my registration and re-apply next year....

Please i have an important question, i am yet to complete my COREN certification and a part of the application requirement says that you have to be duly registered with your professional body. I am a graduate of mechanical engineering. Anyone with info on this should please drop a contribution.

slimmy05: lol, so you're among the toddlers who post to get likes. You need to grow up dude and if you're talking about blunders, you're sure heading to no where. Get it straight, you're not my match. Repeating my words has shown you have a trait of dyslexia. You better go seek a neurologist to help your situation.
You guys should please stop this....Joker asked a question cos he thought we are still in the month of august, slimy shouldn't have accused him of asking dumb questions, exmdy was not supposed to insult slimy and talk about his spellings too. You guys should please let go and focus on the purpose of the thread, we are supposed to be brothers and not enemies. It's obvious you two are sound guys and i pray we all make our ways into the ARMY. Goodluck brothers.

I disagree with you sir, if the problem is so much, then he should be tired of the office and not talk about coming back in 2015. Contrariwise, getting back in the office in 2015 is like making paradise on earth to president Goodluck Jonathan. Bros make we face reality, the juice in that place is way beyond the trouble, especially for typical nigerian politicians that only care about their pockets and not what we youths and the entire citizens of Nigeria face.I am sure if they ask you to take up jonathan's problem and that he takes yours u won't think twice before you accept it. May God help us.

cherrykim: wen will dey start to call for interview?
I checked nairaland, they conducted this kind of test in 2010 around december, they did not tell them if they passed or not but they called successful candidates for interview around july 2011 and some of them got the appointment letter in january all through to july 2012,in short, it lasted for a year and a half and they never got to know their test result. So, i implore you to exercise some caution with your anticipation so that we do not over anticipate and get disappointed... Let's just pray this one isn't like that and that we succeed. Goodluck to everyone.

koyes: How una take remember some questions and their answer option arrangement?abi una see the questions before the test?!hmmmmmn,I smell something fishy...make una talk oooo!
Lol. I remember the figures and the answers because they were questions i saw in the exam and attempted. Though there are some amazing abilities from people here, like remembering a lot of english questions and stating the options that were available for a particular question. All that still doesn't justify that they saw questions, i just feel they are smart people with good memories, besides it could be that the questions they stated were the ones they attempted very well.....

Thanks for d response. Just wanted to be sure of something. I just applied on thursday. Im already chasing them. one more question: did you by any means use work experience documents for your application??
I submitted an incomplete application for a master's degree by research to ECU but i actually failed to complete the application cos i felt i won't be able to raise enough fund to support my education but surprisingly ECU contacted me to ask for my research proposal which was the only thing i did not add in my application. My point is, just hold on as ECU will contact you even if you have made an incomplete application.

Ugochy6: Nna mehn... See how guys just memorise everything carry comot for exam hall!
Anyway sha, the answer to no 6 in paper 1 was not given among the options. Something like: ...N500 made up of 37 notes of N20 and N5, how many N20 notes were there?
a. 12
b. 14
c. 23
d. 25

The answer should be 21. What d'u fink?
It was 530 naira in the question and not 500, 23 pieces of 20naira is 460 naira and 14 pieces of 5naira is 70naira. 23+14= 37 pieces and 460+70=530 naira.

. You don't have to be confused, the correct answer is 12. she is 12 years old now and the mother is 3 times older(36). 6 years ago, she was 6 and the mother was 5 times older(30).

Thanks bro. My major is Msc Engineering (civil eng). Its a 2 yr programe... I think ECU will be ok for me even if d tution fee is AUD$ 1,250 higher than that of UB....
. ECU has a better rating and it is better in Engineering than Ballarat. Perth is also a great place to get a job, i learnt it is also sunny... So, i will advise you stick to EDITH COWAN UNIVERSITY.

RedReact: My family members, thank you so much. I am good here and I am still trying to get some few things done prior to commencement of classes. Just came to study and then move on to my journey in research sciences, since Nigeria wont stop being an advanced village.
I am not happy with what I am seeing in Hong Kong at all. I just feel like calling for re-colonization from Britain, but it is impossible. I dont expect HK to be as civilized as these at all, being a third world country, but na disappointment I come see for here o. Forget China please; they only flex useless muscle with their stupid greed for power, while they can never match small city of Hong Kong (big for nothing like Nigeria - so called giant of Africa).
I dont want to talk about America, Europe, and Oceania cos they are great grandpas in civilization, but small HK is a big no-no for me. I love Nigeria, and I am proud of her, anyday, but I am not happy at all.
It is high time.every Nigerian started fighting for the lost glory of her country now.
Lol, there is just one thing we can do for our dear country Nigeria and that is to pray for God's intervention, only that can change the country, a typical Nigerian's mindset is the greed for the political offices and the money therein, imagine a president who holds a Phd and is reluctant to spend money on research, the situation is so bad that it is the CBN governor Lamido Sanusi that is now educating the office of the president on the impact of research and how it can move the economy forward, though, we all know all these words will fall on deaf hears. MAY GOD HELP US.
