This clearly shows that Nigeria has never been and cann never be ONE COUNTRY.

Let's end Nigeria now before Nigeria will end us.

SOLUTION:
Lets get back to the 1963 Constitution and back to Regional Government with total indigenous resource control.

OR

Let's end Nigeria and divide the country into 4-Countries, Arewa North, Middle Belt, Oduduwa West, and Eastern Biafra.

These are the ONLY two available solutions for Nigeria.
PoliticsRe: Electricity, Fuel Hike: More Prosperous Days Will Come Soon – Lai Mohammed by okeyfrank: 8:56pm On Sep 26, 2020
adenigga:
Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, has appealed to Nigerians to be patient with the President Muhamadu Buhari-led administration over the current happenings in the country.

The Minister while speaking with online publishers on Saturday expressed optimism about the future, saying better days are ahead.

At the meeting, the Minister pointed out that the simultaneous increase in both the pump price of fuel and electricity tariff was “a mere coincidence.”

He also stated that Nigerians are enjoying the cheapest fuel prices and electricity tariff in comparison to other countries in West and Central Africa.

He also stated that Nigerians are enjoying the cheapest fuel prices and electricity tariff in comparison to other countries in West and Central Africa.

Calling for patience from Nigerians, the Minister expressed that the effect of the changes in the international prices of crude oil on local fuel prices will not last forever.

Speaking on the increased electricity tariff, the Minister stated that the government has noted the complaints about arbitrary estimated billing and that a mass metering program is being undertaken to provide meters for over five million Nigerians, largely driven by preferred procurement from local manufacturers, and creating thousands of jobs in the process.

Hope Uzodinma connived with the supreme court to steal the people's mandate duly given to Gov Emeka Ihedioha at the poles.

Till the end of his stolen tenure, Hope Uzodinma remain the supreme court made in Abuja governor of the supreme court, and not Imo people.

Majority of Imolites have sworn that they will never accept him as their governor.

Besides, he was forcefully planted in Imo state to do the bidding of the 'haters' of Ndi Igbo.

Poten111:
Based on how he came to power. A good percentage of Nigerians do not see him as a legitimate occupier of the seat.

From the forth position, third was not considered, neither was the second. He became Governor on massive fraud.

He rigged himself to become the party’s standard bearer with oshiomole, he had nothing on rochas and his son in terms of structure. His fourth position was rigged, infact the YPP aspirant in imo state Linus Okorie ran a better and robust campaign than Him. He did not campaign because he was in Abuja fighting rochas.

He has a history of 419, fraud and embezzlement, he has a case of certificate forgery.

The bitter aspect of the whole thing is that, instead of trying to win the people to himself, pay salaries and pension as at when due, build roads and serve to gain a little acceptance as he is unknown to the people.

He has gone ahead to owe workers, harass business owners with thugs, enact harsh laws to cage the people. Never stays in the state. Always on a private jet to Abuja every weekend.

Check his social media accounts and see that his handles cannot conjure a sentence and he is leading a state that has alot of human resource.
You see him feeling inferior with other governors because he cannot even communicate well.

HOPE UZODINMMA IS THE MOST DISREGARDED GOVERNOR, HIS FELLOW GOVERNORS DO NOT EVEN RESPECT HIM.
Very much on point.

Hope Uzodinma is regarded by Imolites as the 'Supreme Court Governor'.

The unfortunate supreme court align with the the hopeless Hope to defraud Imolites and steal their mandate by judicial force.
Imolites have decided to disregard the unfortunate governor and his supreme court/Federal government collaborators.

Till he leaves office, Hope Uzodinma WILL NEVER BE ACCEPTED BY IMOLITES, no matter what he does.

He was never voted by the people and can never be accepted by the people.

This is one of the unique qualities of the good people of Imo state.

Like Rochas like Hope Uzodimna; both were completely rejected conmen, and Imo people know how to deal with such people.

Rochas Okorocha has no moral justification to speak on anything concerning good governance, after 'raping' and destroying Imo state for 8 years.

His destruction of the legacy infrastructures of the state out of envy, as well as his coveting of private and public properties in the state could only be explained as an expression of greedy madness.

The looting of Imo treasury by Rochas and his surrogates was quite unprecedented in the history of Imo state.

May God Almighty never allow anything like Rochas to come the way of Imo state as a leader again.

PoliticsRe: Dss Vs Ipob: Why We Must Preach Peace And Not Retaliation by okeyfrank: 7:03pm On Aug 27, 2020
bbamusa:
The unfortunate incident of Sunday August 23, 2020, that took the lives of well-meaning Nigerians in Emene, Enugu state, when security forces on patrol were attacked by members of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB has once again brought to bare the cost of violence, the price of rebellion and the risk of disobedience.

Those who make peaceful revolution impossible will make violent revolution inevitable. The only real revolution is in the enlightenment of the mind and improvement of character wrapped in a refined civil approach. Bombs and guns do not achieve a revolution if there any from the first place, the sword of revolution is sharpened using the whetting-stone of ideas through dialogue and communication.

As a country we must remain cautious of how we handle such developments as they unfold.

I am just a preacher of peace, lover of orderliness, I have understood long ago that violence is never an answer to any challenge when we have one to deal with. The great Martin Luther King once said, “Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.” Going by this idea, violence cannot drive out violence, only peace can.

When an agitation is faulty from the onset, then avoidable pitfalls of loss may not be totally ruled out. But the best way to survive and rise as a nation lies on a way we manage agitations within the ambits of the law. We should focus more on supporting the governments in its effort of protection and preservation of the constitution as they have sworn to do.

It is quite unfortunate and regrettable that the incident lead to untimely deaths of some fellow Nigerians who chose to pay the ultimate price for peace, but we must remember that obedience to constituted authority is divinely a duty if we proclaim to be religious people. And this ultimately will leads us to true freedom. Laws are not meant to destroy us, but to maintain orderliness in a sane society. But otherwise leads to our own destruction.

It remains a thing of concern how swift some volatile Nigerians act to cash-in on such events to further spread hate and enemity on the internet, directed against security forces whose sacrifices we enjoy. Mind you, these securities we rebuke are Nigerians too.

They chose to put their lives on the line so that we can have peace. They sacrifice their sleep, comfort and quality time with families, patrolling our streets to ensure our safety. But we always not only under-appreciating them, but easily condemned them as they bleed to protect us.

Since the incident happened, I took time to go through some comments on the social media, all I see was a spit of venom directed towards these securities whom their fault was only making sure we remain peaceful. I was heartbroken, close to shading tears, I ask myself this simple question just like one unanimous person as always "how did we get here" or "who did this thing to us"? those who we ought to be applauding for laying down their lives so that we can live are instead being accused and taunted, calling them names and wishing evil against them. These individuals know little or nothing about the cost of war.

I also read the unsavoury threats by the fugitive leader of IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu, calling on IPOB members not to hesitate in activating defensive mechanism against security forces, then I remembered he is just a clown who derives pleasure in misleading people and fomenting trouble.

We must absolutely disregard the odious remarks by these agitators who know little to nothing about the cost of beating the drum of war.

IPOB being a proscribed group in the eye of the law, any gathering by them remains unlawful, and they should understand that. Moreover, on a general note, coronavirus is still active and people are being discouraged from gathering, what happened to the social distancing? Avoiding unnecessary gathering because of the pandemic is still in force!

A tweet from one Samson Adeyemi @ChiefOjukwu was particularly encouraging he wrote "Dear IPOB please do not take laws into your hands. I am against the killing of unarmed Citizens, but please let the agitations not lead to more killings. The DSS operatives you killed are humans and your brothers too. Your leaders are your real enemies, not the DSS."

At this critical time we are duty bound to preach peace and acceptance not hate for it can only lead to greater destruction. We need to do this for our future and those of our children.

Let me be a free man, free to travel, free to stop, free to work, free to trade where I choose, free to choose my own teachers, free to follow any religion of my choice , free to talk, think and act for myself — and I will obey every law or submit to the penalty, Chief Joseph. So says a wise man.

Unity is strength, division is weakness. He who experiences the unity of life sees his own self in all beings, and all beings in his own self, and looks on everything with an impartial eye.

We can’t keep silent we must keep speaking against violence of any form. A choir is made up of many voices including yours and mine. If one by one all go silent then all that will be left are the soloists.

Our ability to reach unity in diversity will be the beauty of the test of our civilization. Put race against race, religion against religion, and prejudice against prejudice. Divide and conquer! We must not let that happen here.

How good and pleasant it is when brothers dwell together in unity. When we work together in love and unity we can expect heaven’s help.

There are so many wrongs happening in this country, so many. Be that as it may, resorting to violent confrontation is hardly the way to achieve true democracy.

Yes, We will hold our leaders accountable for our lives and the best way is by supporting and believing they mean and are capable well and holding on to their responsibility.

A nation falls not because of governmental atrocity, but because of the citizens’ indifference to ways of solving those atrocities through strive.

Chukwuebuka from Nnewi South, Anambra.
You started your story wrongly and it's an insult to the sensitivity of the people to say that the IPOB attacked the police.
For your information, the security forces launched unprovoked attacks on a peaceful people in their community who were having their usual morning exercises.

Again, for your information, there is nothing like One Nigeria. Nigeria has never been one.

YOU CANNOT UNDERESTIMATE THE COLLECTIVE RESOLVE OF A DETERMINED PEOPLE.

NIGERIAN GOVT IS 'BITING HER NOSE TO SPITE HER FACE', winning more sympathy for IPOB by their unnecessary aggressive/ruthless approach toward the unarmed group, seeking justified interest.

The govt should realize that in the minds of the entire good people of the Old Eastern Nigeria and the well meaning people of the west and north, IPOB is never a terrorist/outlawed organization.

The best the government should do is to run an all inclusive government that can give everyone a sense of belonging.

You cannot beat a child and force him not to cry.

We pray that the govt would be sensible enough not to allow this to aggravate to an uncontrollable level.

Attacks on unarmed civilians and killing them in their numbers can only worsen the situation.

You have just exposed yourself and your gluttony

Were those IPOB members forcing you to contribute money for them?

In as much as there may have being some issues, nobody will ever take away the fact that Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has exposed the wickedness being perpetrated against the Easterners and their South South brothers in our dear country, Nigeria.

For your information, no organization can ever function without funds, and those who are contributing money may have understood this fact better than you do.

Besides, you do not own Imo state, and you do not have the right and the capacity for stopping any Imolite from entering his state.

If only the current Federal Govt had listened and stopped 'continuously fighting the civil war' against the peaceful people of the Old Eastern Nigeria till date, where on earth would non-entities like you have come to make this sort of insulting video.

Better stop insulting people and allow Ndi Igbo to determine their fate in Nigeria.

PoliticsRe: Emene Killings: Enugu Police Say IPOB Shot At Them First (Read Full Statement) by okeyfrank: 8:33am On Aug 24, 2020
The more the police lies in this manner, the more the attract sympathy to the IPOB victims.

People were having peaceful meetings in their village early Sunday morning, and the govt would do was to deploy Army, Police, Air force, Civil Defense Etc to gun down unarmed civilians in their village.

Meanwhile, your brutal services are needed in Southern Kaduna, Borno and Yobe states were Boko Haram are killing innocent civilians and you guys only run away.

It shall never be well with the killers of those innocent young men.

If the government continues like this, they may force IPOB to arm themselves and that will never be good for Nigeria as a country.

Truth is that, no one will see his sibling gruesomely murdered in this way by the Nigeria Security forces and keep quiet.
It becomes an open wound that only revenge can heal.

May we not get to that point in this country.

2023 Presidency is zoned to the South East.

Anything short of that will clearly justify the hatred of the people of the region and the agitation of IPOB

Nigeria should rather tow the path of Equity and Justice and ensure that every part of this country is given the sense of belonging.

The South Easterner who formed PDP gave up to Obasanjo when asked to do so, to compensate for the issues of MKO and just 12.

No one should blame the people of the 'Old Eastern Region' for anything that happens in our dear country Nigeria after 2023 if the South East are not allowed to produce the next President of Nigeria.

It's only the greedy and wicked that will kick against this gentleman agreement.
