Ukrainian defenders have recaptured several villages in the Zaporizhia region.
The Ukrainian Ground Forces reported the news on Telegram , according to Ukrinform.
"Units of the Ukrainian Air Assault Forces, together with other units of the defense forces of the Zaporizhia region, have liberated the settlements of Zatyshshia, Malynivka, Vesele, Zelenyi Hai and Chervone from Russian occupation," the statement said.
Ukrinform reported earlier that the town of Irpin outside Kyiv was liberated from Russian invaders on March 28.
