because of something completly unrelated to this topic.  my sister has cp and because of that she has spent her whole life listening to religious zelots telling her she is impure in gods eye and will spend eternity in hell because of some obscure bible verse about people with mental disorders.  i cant stand the way people do it to her and i think useing twisted translations of the bible and people turning themselves into some new world crusaders thinking that god told them to rid the world of evils is the most ludicris thing in the world and does nothing to bridge the gaps in humanity only makes us treat eachother worse.
.OMG,AFTER LEARNING ABOUT UR SISTER, I BELIEVE I WAS  WRONG 4 MAKING FUN OF U.I AM VERY SORRY.TELL M U HAVE FORGIVEN ME.HOPE UR SISTER GETS BETTER TO SHAME THE CRITICS LIKE MYSELF.BUT U SHOULD MIND THE KIND OF WORDS DAT U USE.U ARE A VERY PASSIONATE LADY.I BELIEVE DAT EVERYBODYS JUDGEMENT IS DETERMINED BY THEIR EXPERIENCE IN LIFE.FORGIVE MY HOMEBOYS HERE TOO.TELL ME U HAVE FORGIVEN US.AM LOYAL.

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Which Team Will Win The Epl This Season? by okotie800(m): 10:28pm On Aug 04, 2009
Which team will win the league this season?I mean taking all the facts into consideration.
(1), Chelsea-have done well to keep their team intact and even to add younger players to their fold.Not to mention their new manager who had a rather good record in his former club.
(2), Manchester United-have lost their get-out-of-jail-free card in C.Ronaldo.Now,they are no doubt lesser in fire power but they also did well in this transfer window although they haven't brought in any big player.
(3), Liverpool-are set to lose two of their first team midfielders to spain.Although they are planning to bring in quality replacements for them but i doubt whether they can gel together to play like last season.
(4), Arsenal-have been quiet as usual in the transfer market.They have lost two first team players to rivals manchester city and brought in only one defender.Although all their injured players are back but can they gel together quickly?
(5), Everton-have been rather active in the transfer market trying to add more numbers to their squad.Not to mention that they have finished 5th for two consecutive seasons.
(6), Spurs-have been active in the transfer market.Some players have gone and a few brought in.They also have a good coach.
(7), Aston Villa-have a very wonderful coach who is keen to improve his team in terms of numbers.They want to avoid the problem they experienced last season when their players lost their match fitness without adequate replacement.
(cool, Manchester city-whether we admit it or not,they are a possible candidate for the title.They have outspent every EPL club this summer and if we can remember,chelsea did it in 2005 although with a better tactician.With more than 5 good strikers,they are a possible threat to every defence.

Now,with the above facts,i want us to say which team we think will emerge champions this season without sentiments or favour.LET THE TOURNAMENT BEGIN.

i dont think ladies love such simplicity.I mean,they always want that day/night to be memorable.Too much simplicity will surely take away the grande edge of the occasion.

Nairaland / General / Is Man Really Responsible For His Actions? by okotie800(m): 7:33pm On Jul 29, 2009
Genetics they say is the study of genes and how it is related to man's behaviour.Now,it teaches us that traits are passed from parents to their offsprings.These traits determines the behaviour of an individual.Now,this means that a person with bad traits in his gene will no doubt be of bad behaviour and those with good traits in their genes will be of good behaviour.Now,this brings up this ultimate question,ARE WE RESPONSIBLE FOR OUR ACTIONS TAKING THE EFFECTS OF OUR GENES INTO CONSIDERATION?
Give your answer with reasons.

Family / Re: Do You Like Your Full Name Why Do Nigerians Have So Many Wierd Names by okotie800(m): 8:46am On Jul 23, 2009
@y'all
is'nt it wonderful that we nigerians can make a full sentence just in our names?I personally think it's cool.For eg, the name Chidiebube means 'God is wonderful'.Is'nt it sweet? It is impossible to do such a thing in other languages.In this way,parents can express themselves,say how special their child is just by the name.Eg 'Nwakaego' means 'children are more precious than money'. By this name, u will understand the true value of the child.It is beautiful.

Politics / Re: El-rufai - My Support For Yar'adua A Mistake by okotie800(m): 1:33pm On Jul 21, 2009
I dont think i like el rufai.Among other things,he is a politician and in nigeria,no politician is clean.But i think he should be given some credit.He was courageous and he did all the dirty jobs nobody wanted to do in nigeria.A philospher (Kant) once said that he does not support violence but he acknowledges the fact that "men sleep at night only because there are others who are stay awake to do battle for them".
Business / Re: South Africa: The Real Giant Of Africa? by okotie800(m): 1:15pm On Jul 21, 2009
@yoruba
what about peace keeping, what role does SA play in africa?
How many world cups did u say SA have been to?
How many times have south africa won the all african games?
Have u guys ever managed to make wave in the olympics?
Who successfully negotiated the china-africa patnership?
What kind of aids has south africa ever given to any other african country?
Where is SA in the FIFA ranking?
How many south africans can you point out to be making wave in the world at the moment?
The nigerian population eclipses that of SA.
Who has the most powerful and the largest land army in the world?
What about the third largest movie industry in the world?It is the nigerian Nollywood.
SA is trying i must say but they still have a very long way to go.
Brother,get it into your thick skull.

As a guy want to imagine the reverse of this case.I find a condom in my wife's purse(when we dont use any).Oh! boy.I'd be damned.I will simply not see her as the person she used to be.I wont beat her (i dont beat ladies,its a sin) but she will regret it. I guess thats why i wont even think of cheating my wife cuz i know how it feels.Do onto others what u will like to be done to u.
Business / Re: South Africa: The Real Giant Of Africa? by okotie800(m): 12:22pm On Jul 21, 2009
@thabo mbeki
with all due respect,i think u are an illiterate and i want to make some things clear to y'all.Do u really know what it means to be the 'GIANT Of AFRICA'? Guess not. Let me tell u this,
1) Nigeria played a major role in abolishing or rather,curbing apatheid in south africa.
2) Talking about soccer,how many times has south africa graced the world cup? Or rather,how many times have u guys made it to the quarter finals of the Nations Cup talk less of winning.
3)whenever there is war in any part of the continent eg DR Congo,sierre leone,etc do u guys ever contribute in the peace keeping?
U think it is just about the economy,i just pray u guys make it past the group stages in the world cup. I like south africa though but get ur facts right.
Politics / Re: Amnesty Package: Militants To Get N20,000 Each Monthly - N1,500 For Food Daily by okotie800(m): 11:59am On Jul 21, 2009
I am not in support of these militants.Come to think of it,if we all go about kidnapping foreigners whenever we are wronged then,who will live in this country.But i believe they are being seriously wronged.Imagine N20,000 per month.Come on yar'adua,even if they all lay down their arms and accept it,in the near future they will be back and this time,it will be worse.You dont give a man money but you teach him how to make it.Better to build more (good)schools for them so that they develope from the grassroot.School will change their mentality and they can then fight for their rights deplomatically.I rest my case.

Education / Re: Examination:: True Test Of Knowledge? by okotie800(m): 12:47am On Jul 06, 2009
In some cases,examination can be a true test of knowledge.Anyone who fails a written exam doesnt have a complete knowledge.He/she should be able to pass both the oral and the written exam.
