Please try comparing the cost of fashola's lagos monorail project to the FG's railway line construction not rehabilitation in terms of cost/km then come back and tell me if fashola and thief-nubu are not the countries biggest thieves!!
Oga, that of Lagos is from the scratch while federal government is just rehabilitation.

Let's see, Saturday is almost here.

Let the people's choice win.

I hope it will be peaceful like the presidentials
The elections would be peaceful, that I can guarantee but Agbaje winning, that I can't. By the way, agbaje visited my street this past week.

To all those who are championing tribal hate, confirm it first before spewing anything. I had to Google it up and all I saw wasnt confirmed cause the oba hasn't replied anyone yet. If this is false then Agbaje will lose by a landslide ask Dosumu but if its true then Ambode is gone.

I am not even concerned about the Oba's statement because I have not confirmed it.

I am ashamed at the posts of people here.

I wonder What will happen If Ibos boycott the elections and PDP still wins.

All the Buhari supporters I know are voting PDP.

They are forgetting that Agbage is like Buhari in Lagos.
Agbaje like buhari in Lagos but in the wrong party. He won't win

I am full bloodied Yoruba however This post makes absolutely. No sense.

There are citizens of Nigeria and have the right to vote who they want since they live here

Let Ibos go back to their villages and let's see If Almighty Lagos will not burn to the ground.

Lagos (Yorubas ) might have the resources, Ibos have the brain and capacity to turn those raw resources to wealth.

Show me another Yoruba state as Lagos.

I am very ashamed of This as a Yoruba person.
calm down first to confirm if the oba that I know said that.

Borrowing And using it for a caricature project like the uncompleted light monorail project embarked by these thieves in Alausa?....smh.

Borrowing and not using it judiciously is akin to a man that takes a loan only to squander it on alcohol and women....go figure
I know that but the money is being spent judiciously especially in the area of education. Fashola once said that if you are concerned about the future of Lagos give the kids education and the future is safe. the monorail project is capital intensive and time taking although I don't support wastage like that sha but when its completed, the revenue that would be generated would be much to cover up for the lost time and capital.

We aren't talking about breakup here ,Nigeria should be restructured to represent the yearning and aspirations of the people and not lumped under one useless unitary system that doesn't encourage growth and self reliance.

Is that too much to ask for ?
Oga myndd44, can you copy huh Tell the new buddies at aso rock this.

The national conference touched on that so nothing to worry about. I hope regional growth is allowed.

Its not too much to ask.

If you know the debt profile of Lagos state you'll be angry at Fashola.

The amount borrowed from world bank and internally generated revenue accrued to Lagos state is nothing compared to what you're seeing there.

Wake up my friend and follow the money, don't follow the caricature infrastructures as they are nothing but a Greek gift to fool the masses.
Debt profile of Lagos is not a cause for concern cause the state can pay it off. The internally generated revenue will take care of that. The provided infrastructures makes more money for the government to run on and settle accrued debt.

Borrowing is part if government and no state will develop without borrowing cause you can't wait on abuja all the time before carrying out capital intensive projects and pay salaries and pensions.

Stop deceiving yourselves .

You can't build a nation that her entire structure was built on a fault line.

Nigeria is a scam and until it is corrected we would be running from pillar to post.

Though I still respect optimistic individuals like you but if you go back to history lane and see how nations like Nigeria ended up you will agree with me that we are chasing shadows here.
No African country would survive a major breakup and not in this harsh economic reality. Check out south Sudan

We aren't one and can never be one ,right now the only uniting factor is the black gold and nothing else.

When cocoa , groundnut and Palm oil was running the economy these your so-called brothers stood for regionalism and as soon as oil was discovered in commercial quantity with a lot of noise in the international community that oil is going to be the future and would bring in economic growth that is unprecedented in world economy and ensure economic powerhouse and dominance ,they started making arrangements to return Nigeria to a unitary system of Government and when it was obvious that the then Eastern region won't buy into the idea they started formenting trouble in the North and started killing Igbos and Ojukwu took the bait because he too sees the Niger Delta as being up for grabs without knowing that it was a well orchestrated plan and a set-up by the North and the South West leadership to lure the region into war with enough promises of drilling rights to the British and America if they help .

Ojukwu consulted Awo about the secession which he agreed only to abandon the plan when the problem started .

But today they will distort history just to deceive themselves but people like us knows the truth.

They are not your brothers .......say it to their face.

We are children of circumstances .
they are my brothers and I would never deny them. Oil was in the past now the future is technology with no region in undue advantage. Let's work together to build a nation that we desire. Together, we can.

Jonathan is a good man and always wanted to do the right thing.

Asking if we should have left him alone ,yes because sometimes the changes we make is actually our final downfall - Just wait and see how these guys called APC would take us back to backwardness.Buhari is another stooge for these regional power brokers and they all have one thing in common - Their greed is second to non.
just four years and we would know if we made a mistake

They fought that man from every angle and when he noticed that the people themselves aren't on his side due to his economic policies that didn't trickle down to the poor masses he knew that the game was over.

His govt was sabotaged on many fronts and that's what you get when you're brought in as a puppet and all of a sudden you want to be your own man ,your puppeteers will destroy you ,after all they still control the institutions of the country with hundreds of their loyalists serving under your govt.

If he was a rugged man before now ,most of them would have been disposed to enable him become his own man and do his job to satisfy the people ,but he left them alone while they plot his downfall or maybe he's simply too afraid to take any bold step against them knowing fully well that they own majority of the people in both house and they won't waste time in impeaching him and disgracing him .

The man simply used his head and gave us our irredeemable country back but he did something and that alone has sent a message to ordinary Nigerians that has functioning eyes.
now you get it. Do you think we should have continued with him ?

APC has a large work to do and they will see its not an easy job. Let them start and hear them whine later
