The reason they refused to show up for the recall process is because Dino may be shitty but Bello is worse than shit. They won't abandon Dino for for Bello to manhandle. They have their way of treating Dino's fvckup just as they did in 2011.

During the 2011 elections, Dino was beaten. During the last elections, Dino lost in the entire Okun land. He lost even in the polling unit in front of his father's house. However, he won in Lokoja which gave him swing votes to win the election.

However, Igalas (Kogi East) have the voting strength to uptown Governorship elections in the state and they're going to kick Bello out this next elections. If you think they're gonna kick Bello out and install Dino, you're a big learner.

FYI, do you know that Bello is also fighting the Senator representing Kogi Central (Ebiraland) were the Governor comes from? Does it mean that one should contest Governorship too?

In 2019, Igalas would get the Governorship, Bello would be out and Dino would be back to ass licking the Igala Governor as he did to Bello in the heydays.

Don't mind that guy. The Okun people lack the political sagacity of their kith & kin in the Southwest. After Faleke, failed in his bid to be sworn in as governor, I expected the Okun elders to form a political alliance with the Igala, in order to build bonds of trust and understanding between them. That way, Faleke or any suitable Okun candidate would contest the primaries and the elections, in a bid to win it with the support of the Igalas, under a joint Okun-Igala ticket. Okun are very much in the minority, and based on numbers alone, they would never be able to put a candidate in Lugard house.

Okun people have 2 problems.

1. They are content with their political position and lack political foresight. Their Commissionership positions and Head of Service sweets them a lot and they don't want more.

2. Very importantly, Okun people are rarely united behind a central candidate. Instead, they pull each other down in order to curry political favours from Kogi East.

He's not popular in Kogi East and Kogi West. Kogi East alone has enough votes to win the Governorship elections. His zone Kogi Central has the least voting strength in Kogi State.

majorly, kogi state was separated from benue state. according to history, igala people came from benue state. so I expect domination. and also from my findings, they are educated too. but that doesn't says that they will not support other zones to contest for the governorship election. ever since the creation of kogi state, they are the first tribe to votes in for the governorship seat. it's time for okun people to contest for that position among other senatorial zone too. igala people will love to votes for okun governorship candidate because of the hatred they have for the ebira people.

Stop analysing politics from an emotional standpoint. That's what Igbos do that backfires. Look at the reality and prepare for it even if it's bitter. Dino would contest and when Igalas (Kogi East) refuse voting for him, he'll start screaming betrayal.

Next election, the Governor is coming from Kogi East. Bello would lose even in some parts of Kogi Central (Ebira land) but I'm not yet sure of Dino's fate cos he won't be given the APC ticket.

Kogi politics is very interesting but somewhat predictable if you have been following it.

Some robbers operated in Offa on the 5th of April. In the course of their operation, they collected the phones of their victims before leaving. After the robbery, the robbers gave the phones to their girlfriends telling them the phones were fairly used phones.

Subsequently, Policemen traced the phones and some were found with the girlfriends of the robbers. That particular video was found in the phone of one of the girlfriends of the robbers.

The guy in that video bathing with wine is Kayode Opadokun. He recently served a prison term for armed robbery and is a resident of Offa. In fact, his father had threatened to disown him on account of his criminal antecedents.

Kayode Opadokun was arrested with other persons and he owned up to his participation in the robbery.
