We are prudent financial managers Must you make such noise. Why can't we learn from the Hausas. They practically own and control this country and do not make noise about it. A mere visit to Aso Rock is exciting you this way. I am soo disappointed. Biko nu umu nnem, ka anyi muru ako. No need to unnecessarily blow your trumpet. Let the appointment come first. |

obstead200: let me educate u just a little about public sector accounting. The revenue from Nnpc (as well as customs, FIRS,) goes to the federation account for onward distribution among d 3 tiers of government. TSA is tied to the consolidated revenue fund which receives the federal govt share of the distribution. Hope u now understand why Nnpc cannot be under the TSA? Rather a separate system for accountability urgently needs to be set up for them. Cos Dem don thief tire Helloooo. If NNPC revenue goes to the federation account, how come they have several large deposits in various commercial Banks? |

Good morning fellow Nigerians. In recent times Nairaland has been inundated with child rape cases. A father will rape his own daughter. Neighbour defiles neighbors daughter. A majority of these cases involve under aged children and even babies.
I am making a case for penile amputation for rapists of children below the age of 15yrs and imprisonment for those above 15. What are your opinions, pleas let's discuss. |

simpleseyi: Keep watching till all the positions are filled because you wont get any. You voted for Goatluck Jonascam, so go and meet him for appointment. You cannot work in First Bank and go to GTBank for salary. Kano gave Buhari 1.9 million votes even the sign language interpreter did the sign of the cross when Kano vote was announced, Katsina gave Buhari 1.7 million votes, Kaduna gave Buhari 1.3 million votes while the whole of South East and South South states minus Edo gave Buhari less than what a local government gave him in Kano. Now you expect same appointment with Kano. Capital NO. That will be robbing Abubakar to pay Ekaete. Just Kano state alone will get more appointments than the whole South East and South South minus Edo. If you doubt me, check the list of Buhari's kitchen cabinet. You are an Idiot with a capital D. So the standard now is to uplift and work with only those that voted you eeh? This drums of war people like you are supporting will come back to haunt you some day. I hope another president in future will not be condemned for towing Buhari's line in future. We are all watching. |

OlujobaSamuel: you have to weigh the merit and demerits, I was once victim of the quota system on admission policy into unity school but never understood it then because I was too young. Do you know what the implication would have been if they are not learned as we are, an emir could rise up one to declare war and there would be no dissenting voice of caution amongst them. we now have muslim cleric in their midst condemning extremism. The few that are admitted base on this quota system are doing well at the long run. If all our security personnel, judges, policy makers etc, are from one part of the country, do you think they will happily accept posting to parts that have no representations. Nigeria is not yet ripe to be compared with the west pls, Africa problems require Africa solution, we all have different values which mostly influenced our decision or opinion. I see. African problems require African solution. So my dear, how do you react to the recent lopsided appointments by GMB. Is it still an African solution? On one scale quota system is good, but on another scale, when it fails to favour some people, it's not good. Only God will judge some people for their level of hypocrisy. |

raayah: She stated that she only sells corn during the corn season and works as a caterer and fashion designer during the on-season.
Selling corn obviously isnt her main source of income. She also is apparently married so she might be able to save some money on that end, hubby providing for her.
She also didnt state the location of the house and how much it costs. It could have been at a very cheap and extreme location, which is not bad.
We need to know the full details
I love happy stories and i am proud of her for being able to overcome her challenges but lets be realistic.
If you make 10,000 naira in profit a month from selling corn ( slight exagerration). I dont see how can eat, pay rent and bills and still be able to build a house with such income. It will take years of extreme saving.
Op should probably retitle.
My 2 cents I stand to disprove you my dear. I have a cousin who sells corn at Berger bus stop at Ojodu. She rakes in close to N20k daily during the season. Her proceeds from corn is what pays her children school fees and feeds the family of seven during off season. In PH where I live, I also know women who make more than this. Please be it known to you that so many seemingly low class businesses you might chose to look down on actually makes more money than u think. Most fruit sellers ad noble sellers in PH have built houses. Go confirm. |

Realisticman: Do these people realise that the most senior SS/SS politician in APC right now is Ameachi? 1 If you bring him down, you may not have someone from that place that can talk to the president's heart about your matters. 2 if Buhari listen to you, then he will have offended most of us that voted for him. Anyway, I don't believe all those hates peddled against Ameach( because he supported someone else) until a competent court finds him guilty. You are a first class armed robber for making such a comment. Are you suggesting that evil of this magnitude be supported just because SS needs the President s ears. For your information, Capital Index is a well known BDC in PH. All those funds listed there were purchased from Govt accounts and wired on Amaechis behalf. If you suggest Amaechi should not be exposed because we need Buharis ears, then may such massive looting befall your own state and family!!! Please say Amen!!! |
