Omere, just carry all your document that allows you to be in canada and let your spouse carry his/her: Proof of Marriage, Family Photographs, Identity and Status Documents of spouse (i.e. int'l passport or any other document to establish their status in Canada), letter of financial support from your spouse, Proof of residency of your spouse, such as utility bills, lease agreements or driver's license, employment and income documents (i.e. pay stubs, employment letter, or tax documents. Abbas pikin, When completing the USE OF FAMILY REPRESENTATIVE FORM for your application under the SOWP program, you generally do not need to provide your husband's details again if he is already in Canada and you are the principal applicant. Ontario mum, Please hold the minimum documents that you can relate with properly. From what I have seen, not much questioning but every case/person is unique. Having said that, i will advise, you hold: 1. Your letter of OWP 2. Letter of VV for your kids 3. POE Letter for you and you kids 4. Know the location where hubby resides (Home address) Good luck! Booking an online appointment is unnecessary for passport submission. Instead, you can visit DHL/UPS and arrange a one-way courier service. For the transmission, you pay transmission for ANY/EVERY that is submitting a passport for stamping. Go to Canada with your VV and flagpole. I misunderstood your question. My bad. To Flagpole, you cross the Canada-US border. If you arrive at the US side of the border and are denied entry, you can simply return to the Canadian side. Within 30 minutes, provided you have all the necessary documents for your wife, including her study permit, Letter of Acceptance, and supporting documents, your status can be changed to SOWP. You would need a minimum of the below breakdown: 1. First dependent (spouse) = $4k CAD 2. Second dependent (7yrs) = 3k CAD 3. third dependent (5yrs) = 3k CAD 4. Fourth dependent (3yrs) = 3k CAD 5. misc = 3 - 4k CAD (This is so you do not blame the consultant or anyone again in the future. Yes, it will be enough if this funds are not part of what the spouse with SP will be depending on. If the 10k CAD is solely for the 1st dependent, then you are good to go. Always draft a [i]good love letter [/i]that cover reasons why you want to join your spouse, and very good home ties. Federal government job is a good one in my opinion.
