Then please furnish the employment letter. Isn't he already employed? If he is not currently employed, it might pose some challenges unless you can provide proof of funds to demonstrate a certain level of support. Living expenses in Canada can be quite substantial, and bills must be paid. Good luck! bidemshotbabe: |
Yes, but what is the reason for the urgency? It would be best to wait patiently for the return of the passport. Once you have your spouse's passport in hand, you can proceed with the application. However, I am curious as to why you didn't all apply together initially. If your intention is for your spouse to receive the visa first before applying for a Spouse Open Work Permit (SOWP) and Visitor Visa (VV) for your child, the sudden change in plans should be addressed in your Letter of Intent (LOI) or Statement of Purpose (SOP) to ensure fairness and clarity. These questions should be properly addressed in your LOI/SOP to give you a better chance of success. Good luck! nnamdi346: |
Certainly, given the situation, I would suggest submitting both bank statements. When it comes to bank statements, it is advisable to choose mybankstatement. This will eliminate any uncertainties that an IRCC representative might have regarding your proof of funds (POF). Good luck! sainaF: |
If DHL no longer provides a two-way service, then in my opinion, you should adhere to VFS's return policy. This means that you will only be responsible for paying the courier service fee for the return of your passport to VFS when they notify you that it is ready for pickup. Good luck! Princessmay11: |
@Accessed, I hold the belief that you do not support or endorse this approach because it can be misleading. The IRCC explicitly outlines the requirements for dependents, and it is important to adhere to those guidelines. Accessed: |
I responded to your email message yesterday, and now you are requesting my attention once again. Have you checked your email if i have responded? Na wa sha... Ennamdee: |
Please provide a detailed explanation for any lump sum of money that is required. It is important to thoroughly explain the source and purpose of the funds. Good luck! sainaF: |
Yes, sir/ma Good to state that the money for the spouse on SP is different from this. Good luck! pristinee: |
You require a sum of 4k, but it may be beneficial to have an additional 2k as a miscellaneous amount. It is always wise to be prepared for unforeseen circumstances. According to the IRCC website (https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/study-canada/study-permit/get-documents.html#doc3), the minimum requirement is 4k for the first dependent, but including a miscellaneous amount is a recommendation I consistently provide. Remember to prioritize your faith in God above all else. Good luck! pristinee: |
Hmmm... This is truly a unique and remarkable sight to behold. In any case, I kindly request that you compose a heartfelt love letter and send it to the email addresses listed below. Not the right platform, sir Look for LMIA group in Nairaland. Though, i do not know if it exist. Best of luck! notmyrealmonika: |
I think purpose of travel should be embedded in your LOI/SOP. Good luck! Teefab: |
Please utilize webform to send the requested items. Good luck! bidemshotbabe: |
My brother/sister, it seems we have overlooked the latest update. Had we been aware, we would have read an explanation stating that receiving such an email is a normal occurrence. Please take this as an automated email. Your current responsibility lies in contacting the speedpost organization you utilized to inquire further. congrats and Good luck! Erwinjstoff: |
Yes, it is important for a baby under 5 years of age to have appropriate medical preparations before traveling to Canada. While the specific requirements may vary depending on the country of origin, and for us Nigeria, it is required. N/B: Documentation: Carry all relevant medical documentation, including vaccination records, medical reports, and contact information for your baby's healthcare provider. These documents may be required by healthcare professionals/schools in Canada. Good luck! FocusLasers: |
Yes, you need to get an offer from a company. The company will do LMIA for you. This will enable you and your family to be admissible in Canada. Howevere, this is not the right group to ask such a question. Click on the Niaraland search engine and you might be lucky to get the group. For me, i don't know more than what i have shared. Good luck! Sunmisola95: |
In my view, I highly recommend waiting, considering the remaining validity of his Study Permit is less than 6 months. It would be best to be patient and wait until he applies for the Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP). However, you can still gather all the necessary documentation, including proof of funds (POF) from his end or both sides, in the meantime. Good luck! sainaF: |
Passport sending through VFS Transmission Note: While DHL offers two-way service, VFS generally disapproves of it, but I still suggest considering it. For Lagos Office: Feel free to visit any DHL or UPS store, which you can easily find by searching online for locations near you. However, I must admit that I lack knowledge about UPS Services, so the decision is ultimately yours to make. This is the Address you will mail your documents to: Canada Visa Application Centre Ground Floor, The Manor Plot 110, Admiral Ayinla Way, Lekki Phase 1 Lagos, Nigeria. Documents to go with to the DHL Office: - Two photocopies of your international passport data page - Your International Passport itself - Passport request letter - Biometric confirmation slip (the document you were given after u did your Biometrics). Nowadays, is a white sticker instead of a yellow slip/receipt previously. - Two copies of signed VFS consent forms The VFS consent form is available at https://www./vfsconsentform For families with multiple members, it is recommended to place each person's documents and passport in individual smaller envelopes. Afterward, gather all the smaller envelopes and include them in a single brown envelope. Write your FULL NAME, ADDRESS, PHONE NO. & Email Address on the Envelope boldly. When you visit DHL, make sure to specify that you require a two-way courier service. Additionally, provide them with the address where you would like your passport to be delivered once it is ready. For Abuja Office: Put all the documents below in an envelope and send to: Visa Application Centre Sterling Bank Plaza, 3rd Floor Plot No 1083, Mohammadu Buhari Way, Central Business District Abuja, Nigeria Documents: - 2 duly signed consent forms. - 2 copies of passport data page - Passport Request Letter - Yellow biometric slip. Nowadays, is a sticker instead of a yellow slip/receipt previously. - Receipt of payment of transmission fee can be checked up at https://visa.vfsglobal.com/nga/en/can/passport-submission (you will pay this fee if you didn't capture biometrics at Abuja VFS) - A paper with your contact details: name, phone number, email address, home address. Pay the transmission fee to: Canada Logistics Collection Account Sterling Bank Plc 0065165839 Disclaimer: please confirm the account details before any transaction. The contact information of VFS in Nigeria is available at https://visa.vfsglobal.com/nga/en/can/contact-us[/b] Good luck! keleto: |
Send again through webform. Is normal practice. Good luck! Accessed: |
On a lighter note, disregard the information you encounter on the VFS site. It is unnecessary to schedule an appointment for passport submission. Instead, gather all the required documents, make the necessary transmission fee payment, and utilize the services of Speedpost (such as DHL and UPS) for courier purposes. Pay for the round-trip courier service, and then patiently await the delivery of your passports to your designated address. I have two recommendations to offer: Opt for the two-way courier service provided by DHL. If you desire a prompt return of your passport, regardless of where you completed your biometric process, send it to Abuja. Good luck! Princessmay11: |
It would only pose a risk if the spouse who is already in Canada is unemployed, particularly considering the fact that they have children. However, I would still prefer to be cautious and meet the minimum requirements set by IRCC to ensure safety. Good luck! Accessed: |
If she has POF in Canada, she does not need to wire it over to you. She can support your application with pay stubs of her earnings and bank statement. The money MUST not be in your account unless the money in her account is for her upkeep and schhol fees. If she has surplus, then she can show it in POF. On a second tot, how many kids are travelling with you? You do not need so much after all. 23,000 CAD is sufficient for a family size of up to 5 (excluding you wife that is already there). Unless of course, you are still met to send her money for upkeep as per her SOP for SP. Anyway, goodluck! Oganla101: |
Only for yourself. Simply respond to the questions on the questionaire as they come, and the remaining aspects will naturally be handled. Good luck! Mojeecan: |

Add yours in the place they are asking for theirs. Good luck! babytemi: |
This is near impossible. They are many things that you need to put in place to get a job here in Canada. Start checking by getting ready to apply immediately you drop land. alternatively, you can source for companies that do LMIA for employees. I don't have idea on that anyway. Good luck! Healthquest: |
I am at loss here. your initial msg didn't depict that. Now you have shifted grounds. No worries. Anyway, I don't know how to help when the reason(s) for denial is not known. Ask for gcms note, and maybe we can help from there. Good luck! HealthCoach1: |
So many reason, my dear. Order for the gcms note and you will be well informed. Don't give up, get up, and try again after addressing the reason for the refusal. Good luck! HealthCoach1: |
Congrats, it usually do not take so much time. Give them them another 5 - 7 days, then the primany applicant can send a web form to catch up with the current status. Congrats once again and good luck! bidemshotbabe: |
Since you are already in SP status, let him reapply now. Please, try and get all documents required to support his application this time around. Do not miss out on compulsory document(s). My advice here is that, if you follow the thread from Page 1 - 323, you will see all the resources required for you to have a successful application, but many are either lazy to read through or busy. Whatever, the situation that best describes you, please, ensure you submit the right documentations. If you can't do it, you can ask someone to help you do it. We all have our strengths and strongholds, and we know where. Good luck! Pash25: |
