I want to start processing visa for my spouse and my children. 1 of them is 7years and requires study permit. Now, my question is if I should secure an admission for her before I apply for them or is not required to give her a study permit.

I understand you... But my point is not about excitement. It's about providing important information about Port of entry requirements. If solid information were not provided on this platform, majority of us will not be able to do it ourselves. So, providing information about what was asked before gaining that final entry to the country is equally important, as the processing of the application. And it's not a must we put that up immediately when we meet our family, what about days or few weeks after. It'll help many families with kids on study or visit visa, and also the spouse with work permit.

Someone here told me how her 2 kids and her were nearly turned back at Pearson airport because she didn't expect the questions that were asked. She initially asked here that what are the requirements and possibly questions at the port of entry, and no one was able to provide any information... That wouldn't have been if we do drop landing gist.

Don't forget that questions that may be asked from a study permit holder will be different from work permit. And having a visa does not automatically mean entry into the country. Don't ever think such landing gist is not equally important! That's my point!

I never expected this kind of speed especially at this time where there is strike

Pls if ur visa is already approved but medical expired before you left and u already done a new one,do u have to wait till its passed before you can travel or the fact u have done a new one is sufficient

I ask coz the letter on introduction states when the medical expires so i thought one would need an updated LOI before travelling.its an SOWP

Please if u have experienced this,kindly assit as i need to travel very soon

i applied for SOWP for myself and study permit for my kids, the applications were received; my kids got their application and UCI numbers,
but i got only the Application number, There is no UCI number for me.

Guys I need some clarification. When applying for SOWP, which account should be used to demonstrate funds? Is it the PA's account (my wife applying for a study permit) or the Spouse's account (mine for OWP)? I just need to be sure which one to use as both accounts were used for the Study Permit application. Also will it be better to open a separate GCKey account? Or use the one my wife used for her Application? We are still awaiting approval of her Study permit though, but I want to be sure of the account to use so the funds can be cooling there.

Thanks bud but won't spouse application be considered a new application since the sponsorer is in canada already not as if all of them is applying together.Sorry to ask, do we get application approved by nairobi on this amount? A guy said in our group 19k in the morning! I can only show 14,500 for the applicant and 2 minor for now. Is that good enough?

Hello Everyone, I got the passport request from IRCC last week and submitted my Passport with UPS paying for a return courier. This morning, i got an sms with account details to pay N9,930 as passport transmission fee and forward the evidence to canadang@vfshelpline.com. I also got a call this morning to reiterate the sms i got earlier. I need to know if this is the process before i proceed with the payment.

I said yes. I was refused a visitor visa to the USA 2015. However, I didn’t put a reason because I sincerely don’t remember why?

Am new on this trend (i have read almost 150 pages silently tho; lol) I came from the study trend, I got my PPR all thanks to God.

I will be applying for my husband and 3 kids.
But the thing is my last child did not by any means reflect in my application, my medical request came after I had so even medical can’t show her.

MY QUESTIONS ARE:
1, how can I prove my last born in this new application.
Did you apply before you gave birth? if yes, Did you state you were pregnant or you deliberately left that part out? If yes, in my opinion, you have to do a sweet love letter to explain that vacuum. Your letter of explanation should be well crafted on the last child because is a no, no...

2, my admission is sept 2023, if I apply now (since am still in Nigeria) is it possible they get visa so we all can go together. (It’s not possible to leave without my baby).
If the funds are avaliable, I will strong you advise you they apply now. Also, remember, what you used as your home tie during your application. If they are part of your home tie, then, it is best you leave them and apply for them much later.

Or, is it compulsory I travel first to get SIN, study permit etc before they will attend to them.

Is there anything wrong with moving some fund from one's business directly to his personal account for this purpose? I can clearly explain that the reason i am running the business in the first place is to make money and fund such moves. Please why do you think it is unwise to do that. The remaining balance in the account could still aid in using it as tie.

Please what is the minimum account balance you advise for an SOWP with 3 kids bearing in mind the 4K and 3k for spouse and kids' living expenses respectively.

I dont know if 7.5 Million which is about CAD 21K will cut it? What is the least amount you will recommend?

Can this be further supported with a N5M balance in the business account belonging to the couple. which they intend to use as one of the ties?
The spouse is already in Canada studying.

Please it’s almost two days I submitted my family’s application and yet no biometric instruction letter yet. Please I thought it was after 24 hours.
I only got an email that the application has been received. I am so worried. Could there be a problem?

Wait for the PPs to get back to you, the reason for not accepting them will be included. You can then include receipts for the transmission fee in each envelope and send back.
