I think the approval letter was already generated long before it was sent. Anyway, no need to fret. The counterfoil will not be issued/stamped twice here in Nigeria. Wait patiently till you get to Canada and send mail to IRCC to effect the correction. However, you can send a web form now to trigger the issue. My brother, sometimes, it is very difficult to assist or comment because the situation is unique or new. Some of us do things without consultation, and thereafter seek advise when we could have done that from the beginnning. POF for Canada is very important you do not give room for doubts. If you pull out large chunk of money, and later return the same or in bits, it calls for suspicion. Those IRCC guys have seeen cases and I pray you can tell a good story why this happened. Dear all reading, if you have means of getting money to take care of bills that shows up in between your application, please do so. Touching your POF in btw is risky. I paid in Naira - Port Harcourt. The agency i used, is someone within the agent that we had over 10yrs r/ship. The prices are ususally high, but if you are looking for dates that are 45days and above, i believe it will be a bit cheep compare to 10days from date of booking. Good luck! Misstolaly: |

As promised, I said I will return to give my landing gist. We arrived in Canada on June-05-2023. Litte heads up here: Every case is unique. We landed and went through Immigration without one question being asked. This does not mean others will not be questioned. The family size is a spouse, and 3 kids. Our ONLY undoing which I fought for a better bargain the next day, was that we missed our flight for our last leg because of not creating sufficient time btw arriving in Canada (Immigration checks) to depart to our final destination (home). Our time was just an hour and 20mins. No good enough. I will strongly advise you to give a 3hours window to allow immigration checks. Most times the queues are very long. Trust me, you do not want to miss your flight because it will/may destabilize you. I missed my flight and the ONLY available flight to my final destination was the 8th. I was given accommodation for a night by Air Canada "Free of Charge" for the 5th night. I still got to stay in Montreal from 6,7 and leave on the 8th afternoon. It was going to be a very long 72 hours for me and my kids. The next day, I left the hotel for the airport to go and try my luck. I got there and luckily for me, I saw seats for all 4 of us for 6th. I quickly asked the little angel to reschedule my flight for the 6th, as I return to the hotel to bring my kids to the airport. To cut long story short, we got back to the airport and boarded the flight, and the rest they said, is history. Lessons learned have been shared. Another learning from me, one of the ladies from the front desk of Air Canada, was that, we have too many chiefs but few indains. This got me cracking even when I was mad. It was a case of everyone proving they know too much. what they can do to assist or learn, they prove to know it all, and by so doing, they make people's life miserable. Good luck to all prospective families here. God that did ours, will perfect every one of our application and dreams. May Canada and Canadians be kind to us all. We will continue to excel.
