It have been a hot afternoon at Federal Polytechnic Oko, Atani Campus. Which situated at Ogbaru Local Government Area Atani, Anambra state. The campus specifically has two department which are computer science and maths & statistics currently.

Between the  specific hour of 2:30 pm and 3:o0 pm  on Monday afternoon (4th September). A car moving toward Onitsha, Asaba express way. Which has four (4) Passengers including the driver. Crashed at the polytechnic wall.

According to the eye witness. The driver (name withheld) came back from Asaba to pick his father who is very sick. And trying to convey him to hospital, at his resident in Asaba. on there way, the driver was at high speed with a motorcycle coming in-front, towards his side.

A man have been killed by the fulani herdsman at Ologbo community in Edo state Nigeria. After he  planed to steal their cow

According to the reporter: Herdsmen has unleased their terror in Ologbo community in Edo state. This man was killed this morning by Fulani Herdsmen.. We are now slaves to The Northerners?

This man planed to go steal Cow and butcher for sale being that the fulanis are celebrating salah that fulanis don't kill humans during salah celebrations.

Thief Burnt To Death By Angry Mob in onitsha. Today was the end of the road for this thief whom was burnt to death by angry mobs in onisha Anambra state Nigeria.

This incident took place around 2pm in front of cook-market Onitsha Anambra state, they were 2 with a motorcycle.

They rubbed a passerby of some money which one of the thief ran away with the money but the other one was caught and burnt to death together with his motorcycle before the police could come to take charge of the situation.

FG to Deploy 50,000 N-Power Volunteers By September. The Federal Governnent has disclosed that about 50,000 non-graduate applicants in its N-Power volunteer programme would be deployed in late September and trained in October. President Muhammadu Buhari’s aide on job creation and youth empowerment, Mr Afolabi Imoukhuede, made the disclosure in Abuja on Tuesday.

Imoukhuede said the deployment was delayed to enable the job creation team to provide all needed training materials for the volunteers. The presidential aide stated that the volunteers would be deployed to begin three-month vocational training in seven disciplines followed by a nine-month apprenticeship in related industries before venturing into self-employment.

According to Imoukhuede, “Contracts were awarded as at end of June and as I speak now literally all contractors have delivered to the six zonal warehouses that we then appointed.

“So, we have a warehouse for South South in Edo which is a gateway into South South, for South East we have a warehouse in Umuahia, for South West we have Lagos.

Gov. Bello confirms Lawal as new Kogi Head of Service. Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State has approved the appointment of Mrs H.O.K. Lawal as the new Head of Service for the state.

She is to replace Dr Moses Atakpa who retired
recently. The Secretary to the State Government, Dr Folashade Ayoade who disclosed this in a statement on Wednesday in Lokoja.

He said that Lawal’s appointment takes immediate effect. The statement urged Lawal to justify the confidence
reposed in her by the government.

Dr. Banigo who condoled the bereaved family on the gruesome murder of little Miss Victory Chikamnso said “as a mother I am still numb with shock to hear that a full grown man could defile an eight year old girl and also go ahead to mutilate her body for purported money rituals”.

Sierra Leone Holds Mass Burial As Country Braces For New Mudslide. Recently it was reported that many where dead in Sierra Leone after a heavy rainfall that causes hillside to collapse.

Following the resignation of Former Kogi State House of Assembly Speaker, Umar Imam Ahmed has admitted he resigned from the position to avert plunging the state into another round of crisis and save his life, which has been under death threats.

After the 25- member House passed a vote of confidence on him and less than 48 hours after the Assembly was invaded by hoodlums that disrupted plenary.

His letter of resignation was read by the Deputy Speaker, Hassan Abdullahi, who presided over plenary, which later elected Majority Leader, Kolawole Matthew, as the new Speaker, unopposed.
