Nice. They have enough space to run around. Apart from the blocks, how much did you spend on the covering and roofing of the place? I plan on doing something similar to this next week and just want to have an idea how much I will be spending.

Farming is both fun and lucrative.

When I was a kid, there was a chick depot near our house. They sold in cartons, but I was able to buy one for N 15. When I got home, the little thing started following me everywhere I go. It was probably hungry and couldn't eat what I was feeding it. I can't remember what happened to it eventually, but I remember people laughing when they saw us together. If I weren't into tech, I'd probably be into animal husbandry. I like taking care of animals.

This your story reminded of when I was doing my youth service in a village in th east, and I was bored, so I went to the market to buy two chicks. I thought they were agric...but later found out they were local. They started following me everywhere. Imagine walking around your corpers lodge to see all your friends, and two black chicks following you about. Even when I would be gisting with friends or playing whot with friends, they will come and sit on my head or shoulder. lol! They thought I was their mother.

Unfortunately, they followed me to see one of my friends one day, and while waiting outside, they ate ants that had been killed with Sniper, and it killed them. It was so heartbreaking...I had bonded with them so much.

Omo! Make sure you keep feed money for one side o. I remember when I started with 100 birds like 7 years ago. It got to a point, I was fasting, just so my birds would eat, cos I was short on cash, and those birds eat like crazy. Chai! That was one crazy time in my life.

Get empty bottle water container, fill it with water, and put on top of the drinkers. Or, if you can find schnapps bottle, that would be a good option too. For the feeders, you have to find a way to hang it from a high point...so, that it is suspended, and dangling, and not on the floor.

stop giving them all these lasota and whatever, the only best medicine that works for these birds is amoxiline. it is what i always give my birds and no loses or regrets. only give them their own medicine of eating food. but for their health, amoxiline does the job better than any medicine

That's an antibiotic right? You also know too much antibiotics is not good for these birds and for the people that will eat them in the future.

I will advice you to use wood shavings...I found out saw dust will lead to CRD. They have poor nostrils and can get blocked by the small particles easily, which can Lead to difficulties in respiration.

That looks like sand, not sawdust.

Day 22 in pictures...

From the pictures, they are not flying on top of the drinker and feeder to sit and poop. That's nice. That's one thing that used to get on my nerve when I was raising Noilers. Once they get to 2-3 weeks, they become super active, and start flying on top of any elevated spot they see, and pooping there.
