For some people condemning this lady, they have forgotten that she is a professor in a country like USA.
She knows what is going to be the consequences ( if any) of her tweet about the late queen.

And to think some nairalanders are now crying more than the British is quite surprising.

It is also very unfortunate that a noble social media like Nairaland has turned out to be where some disgruntled Nigerians now uses to express their hatred for other tribes.

They tweet was from a place of hate and emotion, she didn't think it through...that's why she quickly deleted it. If it was well thought-out, she would have stood on her word, and not delete the tweet.

You're the one that doesn't understand the matter. First of all, Don Jazzy and D Banj were partners...50/50 partners...that's why Don Jazzy couldn't keep using the name, Mo Hits after he and D Banj went their separate ways. Don Jazzy wasn't his boss, they were partners.

Secondly, they signed a partnership/distribution deal with Kanye's Good Music to expand...it was a partnership deal, as they still had power to run their own company, Mo Hits. What is wrong with wanting to expand after conquering a continent? Till this day, Oliver Twist is still a worldwide hit because of that merger.

Don Jazzy pulled out of the partnership because he was satisfied with the Nigerian dominance and didn't see the bigger picture, and since he was the producer/beatmaker, D Banj did't achieve what he planned. But you still have to give him props for trying. He showed people like Wizkid and Davido that a Nigerian musician can get airplay in America, and they were able to dream even bigger than him. Put some respect on that man's name.
