JOB REQUIREMENTS
The main duty of the INVENTORY CONTROL AND MANAGEMENT OFFICER is to control and manage effectively, the stock of raw materials and finished goods in stock. He or she is require to :

1. Possess a minimum of First Degree / HND in any course and must be computer literate,

2. Ensures that no raw materials from unknown sources the management enters the Warehouse,

3. Ensures that all raw materials purchased meet the required quality as stipulated by the management,

4. Ensures that all raw materials purchased were properly authorized and were bought from the right suppliers,

5. Ensures that the quantity of raw materials or finished goods entering the warehouse is properly authorized and he or she must endorse such authorization before management can recognize it,

6. Ensures that the quantity of raw materials or finished goods leaving the warehouse is the actual quantity authorized and he or she must sign before such raw materials or goods finally leaves the warehouse,

7. Ensures that the quantity of raw materials taken from the warehouse to the production department is the actual quantity approved by the production manager,

8. Monitor the quantity of raw materials taken out of the warehouse for production to ensure that they are properly used and there is no waste. Any unused quantity must be return to the warehouse and must be properly documented,

9. Ensures that the quantity of purchased raw materials entering the warehouse is the actual quantity and quality that was authorized by the management,

10. Ensures that finished goods leaving the warehouse have been properly cost and is the actual quantity of goods that have been endorsed by all the administrative staff involved,

11. Advice management based on experience on how the stock of raw materials and finished goods in the warehouse can be properly taken care of in other to reduce wastages as well as the cost of maintaining such materials and goods,

12. Suggest to the management policies relating to inventory control management in which if formulated and implemented will lead to reduce cost of production,

13. Performs any other function that might be assign by the management.

Demonstrate a willingness/ability to work with the interdisciplinary team to provide optimum care.
