Ekiti state is not paying minimum wage yet neither have they approved any figure.

I don't know why they think Ekiti governor is civil-service friendly. Nothing has been said by him. He may start paying by June 2025

July to now is about 15 weeks and if you have 5 occupants, that's 150 units if you split it equally. Divide 150 units by 15 weeks comes to 10 units per week. So you are crying over electricity bill of about N2k per week? Seriously If you can't afford N2k electricity per week then you should ask to be disconnected from the post paid niyen.

You better go and pay then move back to prepaid so that you can monitor your co-tenants. If you guys still struggle to get my calculations, contact an educated numbers person to break it down for you all.

Bro, thank you for analysing nonsense. 200k for just 2 months I can count like one or two weeks without electricity in that two months. Ad don't forget, we are in Band C. According to staffers Power Distribution Company

By May 1st this year, our prepaid burnt down, the cause is unknown. We went to Ikeja Electric to make a complaint but they promised to migrate us to postpaid. I felt uneasy about and I let them know that we fought outrageous bill before the was installed. They promised that we are on band c and will not bring anything higher than 20k per month and we need to generate SR code for the migration. This code generation took almost 2 months before we were fully moved back to postpaid by ending of July.
Since two months ago, we have been expecting bill but none is coming until last week they sent a bill of 192k to us. Everyone in the compound was shocked and we did not owe on the prepaid meter. Our account is clea without any debt.
Without a factory neither a shop nor bakery, how can we consume 192k light just for two months. We went to to their office and they told us we'll pay the money first or a least w should pay 80k for them to reconnect our light. Presently, the monthly bill is higher than my house rent and in this present T-pain economy, I no fit do am.
