No study leave letter? Or anything to state you’re coming back? Or rather what documents did you use to prove strong ties. I was refused and I’m trying to understand why and look through my documents cry
No study leave letter bro. Only a letter of introduction from my work place. I mentioned that with my work experience (worked is sales) and an MBA I stand a good chance of getting a good job in Nigeria. I also mentioned I'm the first child and it's my responsibility to take care of my aging parents which I intend to do. Those were home ties. I also wrote my short and long term plans all in my personal statement.

Hello house.

Just curious to know. But I’m I the only one who applied around first and second week of July and still haven’t gotten a response yet. I applied July 12 and this week is the 8th week. Or is the delay from UPS??

Your opinion guys.
I also applied in Abuja on the 12th of July, it got to the embassy on the 15th of July and no response yet till now.

I intend to apply for my visa next week, I have two questions please
1. To what extent will an accumulation of visa refusals (from US embassy) going to affect Ireland visa application?
2. For my work place referal letter, my company gives a generic letter for vacation, getting HR to state studies there is tricky. Can I use the generic letter for vacation?

Thanks.

I have read through all 119 pages of this thread and I must confess it has been really educating. Kudos to ICASng for putting this thread together and I say well done to everyone that has contributed.

I have an offer for MBA from DBS and I plan on applying for my Visa ASAP (still putting together all required documents).

I would be asking questions if I'm not clear about any other thing.

Hello house. It's been a while since I last visited, obviously a lot has happened since I last came here. Just want to add that for those that were called for interviews you are definitely on NB data base. The recruitment is HR's work and they most do it in other to get paid so they are not taking you for granted. It's simply not yet in their schedule to call, once it's time you would definitely get that call. Keep the hope alive. NB is a good place to work, you'll get tired of the hotel life during training though trust me. Cheers

I see those guys who were given 1 day notice for the medicals are based in Lagos, I hope those of us outside Lagos will be given at least 2 days.
You would actually be asked if you can make it for the next day, if not you can pick a day more convenient for you. They might give you a list of dates though.

@p2person....Na wa o. So you were actually expecting him to share the exact questions on nairaland. So what then is the use of the exam? If you are sure of yourself, go and write the test, more so it's a very simple test, something everybody that claims to have driving experience should know.
