Thanks everyone for answering my previous question the answer really helped, I am new to Nairaland and i am already happy with the quick response.

so now I have decided to go for a postgraduate diploma at NOUN. it takes a year or a year and half and I was assured that I will get my certificate immediately plus no ASUU wahala.
so therefore I have new questions.

1- Do WES accept NOUN result
2- Will my BSC with my Postgraduate diploma(when I finish) serve as two or more certificate
1. Yes
2. Yes

I also got a PGD in NOUN, it took exactly 12 months from the date I registered to the date I saw my name in the graduating list, nevertheless, I will recommend ACCA or CIMA because those two courses can be done within a "short time". Read more on them before going for NOUN, in other news, registration for NOUN is currently on going

Nothing much will change. French speakers only made up 4-5% of candidates in the pool in 2019. If there's a dramatic increase it wont be more than 10% this year. However there will be a gradual increase in CRS cutoff in the next one year.
It can't even get to 10%

TEF is the way to go even though to get more than B2+ in all épreuves isn't moi moi. No need doing all those short (and long) courses

I actually checked thd IRCC website before asking here.
Using the IRCC to the tef scores these are the corresponding clbs

Reading- clb 10
Listening -clb 9
Writing- clb 5
Speaking -clb 7.

Now my question is what is the overall clb for this kind of scenario?
The answer is on page 1.

The nclc/clb is 5. The lowest is chosen, however it doesn't matter. It's each individual score that matters

Hi Everyone, please i need advice. In just got married and we’re about to start the process, i have a few questions
1. My passport hasn’t expired but still has my maiden name, do i have to change it to apply? Or just provide marriage certificate
2. I studied health education with 4years experience as a customer care manager, my husband studied computer science but went into business afterwards (mart, restaurant, bakery, gym, e.t.c) what are our chances of getting jobs. Though o intend to go back to school there at some point
3. Which province would be the best for us to settle in based on job opportunities and cost of living

1. You don't need to change the name on your passport

Can you throw more light on CLB 7? Is this also compulsory?
you can read more on the TEF thread. Not compulsory, it all depends on your profile. Use the CRS calculator

Thank you for response. Since I have little of admin duties experience during NYSC. it can't count right?
NYSC experience count, but to meet up with the current score, you would need two or more certificate or maybe a masters as well as minimum of CLB 7 in French.
Modified: didn't know it has been answered above

Wow. Thank you for taking the time to reply me in full. I almost missed it sef as I had already read your shorter reply and just saw this edit now.

God bless you abundantly.
As you said, personal efforts counts a lot plus team effort as regards speaking and writing and asking for help from those who have gone through the process. Thanks to Fabguen, mamaroon and Ayande and all those who helped him out. The success story is yours too.
I'm inspired.

Your CRS score be popping.
Thank you very much, yes, they're the real MVP

Congrats. This is an inspiring result. And for first time (I presume), na you be the MVP. We pray for all of us yet to take our TEF that it favours us too.
Can you share your exam experience and questions.

Also, pls your classes at IEF, was it online or physical classes? I am considering signing up for their online because of traffic and work stress. Af physical classes isn't working for me again . I dont even have time to read and revise which is counter productive.
Yes, it was, many thanks to elders of this thread

My "exam experience" was similar to the one shared by Framaro and asusfanatics.

My questions
CE
Normandie
Magazine Elle
7 et 97
Estival
Facilite
Apart from the long texts, other questions were totally new.

EE
dans un monde moderne. Le magasin ne devrait jamais fermer

A man that just retired was sharing money and a passerby called the police...

Here is my timeline, it isn't ideal because of Covid

Joined IEF November last year till mid march because of covid angry. I moved to self study, my speaking wasn't good so I started searching for people to speak with got a few from different countries. Also paid a friend/tutor just to speak with her. Read schaum's grammar, French verb drills, TEF 250 ( all these books are available on this thread) also scanned through Alter ego B1, B2 and C1.

My friends and I started speaking almost everyday around April/May, ( my secret to speaking smiley ). I also got another tutor to correct my writing and speaking. Returned to IEF in June for B2 but left after like 3 days, I felt I don't really need it, went back for TEF class in July. Did several speaking sessions with Mamaroon and monsieur Fabguen, was certified okay and we eventually moved to writing, they gave a lot of advise and tips which really helped (Thank you very much for your selfless service, I so much appreciate). Left IEF again in July as I felt I really needed to focus on my writing, traffic wasn't also helping, so I continued with my previous tutor, she corrected my speaking and writing.
Ayande do send recent EE questions which I usually answer and she correct (Thank you very much, words can't express how grateful I am to you guys )

Wrote the exam in September, result came out after about 20 days.

Just to add
I focused more on writing and speaking because the pass rate is low especially writing, it's the French that you know that would help(and grace), no shortcut unlike the other two.

Read the long text for reading and listening more than 6 times. For longtext, there are different editions, same questions but different answers, I used the long text on TEF academie

The Ogas of this thread have already given a lot of tips, you can click on their moniker to read them.

TEF gave me 68 points, Wes and Unilorin has been passing me to each other but not really bothered since my CRS score is now 511

From past trends. FST is every 6 months, there was one in August.

It was usually March/April and October. The one for this year was done in August because of Covid.

I hope you're right sha

Those of us here(Nigerians) hardly tell the truth but prefer to live fake lives to make it seem all is well...

Please I need urgent advise on what to go for between
CIPM and NOUN masters.

Putting into consideration cost, duration and its positive effect on this glorious journey.

Thanks.

I don't know anything about CIPM, you can use the Nairaland search bar.

For Noun masters, the duration depends on the course and you, you can easily finish some courses in one year while some will likely take longer.

The fees if you use one year should range between 130,000 and 160,000 excluding transcript fee of 25k and convocation fee of about 15k

Note: there's 7 additional points if you choose Noun masters
