shine12:What we see in todays world is people hiding under the umbrella of religion to take decisions that will end up becoming detrimental to them. So the bottom line is this fear God, serve him, obey his commandments be hardworking and change ur world bcoz in the end no food for a lazy man and try to leave a good legacy and something substantial for the generation that will come after u to make their lives comfortable and they will be proud they had u as their dad/mum.its not necessarily big stuffs. But u not doing anything and expecting God to perform miracles then u are testing God. He said he will bless the works of ur hand, what will he bless if u have nothing u are working on. There are principles to being blessed in life irrespective of ur religion but nowadays Christians we just want to get the blessing while skipping the principles. If u are a Christian I will like to take ur mind to that verse that says the poor shall not end in the land it does not mean that God does not love the poor |
shine12:As Godly children are we suppose to leave in poverty? A quality future we don't plan for we can't get if u are a Christian let me take u to the book of 1timothy 5:8 "But if any provide not for his own, and especially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith and is worse than an infidel". Most of this children who turn out bad is as a result of diverse factor ranging from lack of God and parental guide, poverty is also one of the factors. So as parents and future parent we should invest in ourselves both God wise, financially and morally sound before bring another creature into the world. #Ihopeuunderstandmypoint |
flyca:U said my mind this is one common sense that every young person should imbibe. The era of rushing into marriage has passed that is why poverty continues to linger in some peoples lineage. This day youth only fantasize about the glamour of getting married forgetting that it entails alot |
Wow! This is nice. If only Nigeria can focus on solar power building solar panel villages we will send phcn packing in no time and in years to come we will be celebrating years of uninterrupted power. But this our leaders their head no dey reason go that side may God have mercy on this country. |

The leadership of organised labour unions in Kogi State have debunked allegations by the state governor that it requested for a N100million bribe from the bailout required to offset workers salaries. Speaking to SavidNews, the state chairman of the Trade Union Congress, Comrade Ranti Ojo, decried the tactics of deceit employed by the governor to deceive unsuspecting civil servants. He urged the governor to stop playing mind-games with the intelligence of the civil servants and do the needful by paying the salaries of the workers. “The governor (Bello) has missed it – he was looking for a way to rubbish us (labour leaders) because of the demand we are making for the workers,” Ojo maintained. “He has failed in his attempt to rubbish us. If he say we demanded 100 million and he refused to give to us – he should simply just pay the workers. “Nobody has asked for anything because when we met him on Workers Day (May 1), we asked him if he had received the bailout fund after we heard rumours that the money has been released. He told us that he has received the bailout, though from a fresh application he did on premise that the initial bailout requested was padded by the former Governor Idris Wada. “We had no input in Wada and his (Bello) bailout application and none of us knew anything about what they put together and demanded for as bailout, so when did we asked for N100 million to be inputted in bailout. “He should come out and tell us where the fictitious bills were added so as not to add more loan burden on Kogi people. “What is the offence of workers? He paid some people four months, some others three months with 60%. We suspected he has put the money in a fixed deposit.” |
kcnwaigbo:My question is does a person has the heart to do right by the virtue of the degree he or she possess. It amazes me how some people reason |
