Messi is still the highest goal scorer in 2016 calender year(check it online). The highest cr7 has had is 61 goals in all competitions and i think 69 in a calender year.
Messi has a better freekick conversion rate than cr7. Infact if messi misses his next 147 freekicks he will have the same conversion rate with cr7.

Ronaldinho's case is different, he started droping form before he left barca. He was always partying and drinking.
