So how many First Class Degree Holder in Mathematics do you know? When it is a miracle to graduate in 4 years when you study mathematics?

if ur school can produce 20 first class holders in engineering out of 1500 students, then I would say either it's easy to make first class in engineering OR it's easy to make first class in ur school because since the beginning of my school, my dept. Applied microbiology and brewing had only produced 1 first class holder. even our last convocation in which 3 sessions were combined, there was only 12 first class holders among over 3,000 students

UI and UNILAG dint make engineering look easy, I'm a UNILAG engineering student and I can tell u dat it is the calibre of students dat UNILAG admit into engineering dat made dem to be churning out 1st class. UNILAG admit very smart students into it's engineering programs that u'll wonder if these students are normal. These students can read anytin and destroy any exam, I'm saying these cos I'm presently a student and I marvel at the level of smartness of some of my colleagues, these guys are just superb. Tho we av many among us that are average and below average too, infact dem plenty dat u'll be wondering how they got admitted into the faculty and it always reflected in dia grades and the no of yrs they use to study the courses.

so your course been hard is something to be proud of. Na bad system and lecturers dey Mk school hard. In Uniben engr produce more first class. one session a dept produced more than ten in engr

It was when i saw engineering courses that i knew for sure that its either craze dey worry this op or na the @op dey worry craze.

Of course I do realize its within everyone's right to have an opinion but some opinions are better swallowed than said. What da hell!!!

I remember when I had to start this probability course in Electrical Engineering, everybody was hyping the class, saying that the average is always around 50-60 and that only a few people crack the class.

I just looked at them with one kin eye, though I did let what they were saying seep in, but not the fear. In response, I promised myself that even if it's only a single page of the probability text book I read every night, I will do it.

So that's what I did, I read at the very least, one page every night, doing examples at least 2-3 times and when the test results came out, I scored a cool 100%(no joke).

Respond to your fears with some action, less they consume you.
