Ayorola:Wow. Congratulations. I was also a GT applicant but didn't get the apl like many but since then I have learned new skills and now looking for a remote job to compliment the stipends I am currently receiving. Can you please share the website where you got the job posting. I will be very grateful. Thanks |
I'm just speechless. What a gagantum level of corruption in broad daylight. And to think that there is no agitation by the people of Niger delta after all this corruption has been revealed. As much as I wouldn't promote violence anyday, I think it is justified at this point. It is high time these people take the law into their own hands. Because the lawmakers and law enforcements are the now the ones that a raping them in broad daylight. Let them use all the energy they use in bombing pipelines to bomb these people one by one. Can you imagine, the money that can be used to totally transform the lives of millions of people in the Niger delta is been pocketed by just very few people. |
I couldn't tell from the video if it was the presidential jet or a private jet. If it was a presidential jet, then I think it is excessive to just allow politician family members to use it at the expense of the tax payers except they a just hitching a ride with an official that have access and right to use it. Then if it a private jet, I don't think it is anyone's business how they use their money except it can be proven that the money used for hire it comes from the public purse. And to the OP, the presidential fleet was reduced sometimes in 2016/17 and the jet/helicopter was donated to the air force |
As much as I am not against them moving to the UK, it's their right. But it is quite uncharitable to do so in this period when the country need them the most most especially if they were trained in our heavily subsidized universities and college of health. It is more of a moral obligation. I know some people will talk about their inadequate payment and welfare here, and you are right to say so but two wrongs doesn't make a right. I am not saying that they shouldn't ever leave, but it shouldn't be this time of world wide medical emergency. Even the UK that they are going to knows that it is wrong to poach our health practitioners at this time, that is why they are doing it through a third party and behind the scene. How will it sound that a first world country is "robbing" a Third World country of doctors at this time. And to those that are in support of this, you will still be the one to come here and complain if you go to the hospital and there are no doctors to attend to you. |

Hmm. Though the money seems quite large, but there are two ways to look at it. You might want to say that the salaries of the DPR staff is on the high side for civil/public servant and the same goes for other high paying public institutions like NNPC, FIRS etc. But you also have to look at the practices of the industry under which the institution operates. The oil industry is known to have high salary benefits to its employees all over the world. So if DPR and similar government agencies decides to pay it's staff what non oil related industry are paying, it will not get required technical manpower to perform it's operations most especially in the top management level and it will generally have a high employee turnover as its staff will port to private oil companies that pays will at any given opputunity. And the writer of this piece does not understand what upfront payment is. It's an accumulation of benefits that is given once a year and at the beginning of the year and it varies across the seniority level. So it doesn't mean that all the employee got similar upfront some might have gotten more while other got less than what was stated in the article above. |
Another thread for dick measuring contest ![]() |
Well, at this stage, our economy needs all the help it can get. I just pray that the money will be used judiciously after Senate approval and disbursement. And this will bring about the much talked about agricultural revolution, food import reduction, export increase and economic diversification. A non lazy youth preferably one will agroallied experience will already be thinking of how to tap from this. There is much wealth to be made from the agricultural value chain. |
Is there any forum similar to nairaland in Kenya? |
I just edited this post to remove my account details. As much as I would like to get the money, I know that there are people out there that need it more than I. At least I should be able to survive till the lockdown is over by God's grace. |
DORS:Good morning, have you been able to make withdrawal from the site? I was able to make 150$ and paid for referrals but they didn't acknowledge the payment. This I have done twice. And I am getting some indications that the site is a scam site |
Why don't you go and ask Dorsey or Zuckerberg for give away ![]() |
Nawa for the person that wrote this article oo. What Prof. said is not even up to one paragraph and they turn it into a novel. If you want to write an opinion piece then write it separately not that we will now start searching for Prof's statement in all your opinion and history that we already know of. |
Aptly put. It has always been on record that BHT use territories in to lake Chad region to launch attack and quickly retreat there when they are chased. If the Chad military was serious about the war against Boko Haram, when was the last time they performed any sizable operation against them even as the BHT are in their territory while we hear of the Nigeria military success against them almost on a weekly bases. And from the look of it this operation was only a one off operation that could not be sustained. |

Hello guys, just a quick one. I just registered on QA world on Monday but i have not been able to get a transcription job there. I do refresh the page several time and whenever a job is listed and i click on it i get an error 401 message. Is there a specific time when i will be able to get transcription job? Thanks |
Ouchbabe, it would be difficult to give a good advice without understanding the full context of things. When did his attitude of staying out late start? Is it after he lost his job? If it is, then think it is as a result of the job loss. Maybe he can't stand being the man of the house and not being able to provide for his family instead having to rely on his wife for means of sustainance and how he tries to cope with that is by making himself unavailable to at least make it look like he is occupied with something. I know you might not see it this way. But you should understand that men have their egos and have different ways of dealing with when it is down. Another thing that I would advise is for you to know the kind of friends he is going out with and if you talking terms with them, you should try and make known your displeasure about his attitude to them in a respectful manner. If his friends are responsible, they will talk sense to him. They major thing that he needs is a sense of purpose and responsibility. |
Noooo. Those guys are not efficient with their service. I think they are the one's in charge of drivers license software for road safety and it took me over a month before they could get good service to do my registration. They have very slow network. |
A black man practicing a white man's wedding tradition on Arabian soil. This would have been only imagination a 100 years ago. |
Aremolomi:Guy chillax, your blood too dey hot. I don't know who appointed you as the police of all sources. Can't you just read and scroll pass like most other people here. You too carry this nnpc matter for head. PS. The DPR thread has been on since like three years ago and it is only logical he will have history there abi is it a crime to apply for both DPR and NNPC? You just dey use your vibe dey discourage people with better "gist". Some of us are just here to read and entertain ourselves with what people are saying and are indeferent about whatever sources posted. Just take a back seat and watch as things flow, it is good for your blood pressure ![]() |
opylog:I had same experience when I registered. I was even expecting email but nothing like that. The application e get as e be. I think they contracted the process to a third party |
