The cheapest rate is 10, 000 Naira +.
It also depends on the ground.
Arsenal's Emirates is very expensive.

PoliticsRe: Occupy Lekki: Lekki Toll Gate Protest-update by Olaone1: 9:55am On Dec 19, 2011
But, I think it should be free for commercial vehicles.

And, if possible, a lane for buses to encourage people to use them.

From the pix, the road does not really look good, IMO
PoliticsRe: Occupy Lekki: Lekki Toll Gate Protest-update by Olaone1: 9:50am On Dec 19, 2011
In the UK, you have to pay for a parking slot in your workplace.

If they can guarantee judicious use of the money, and the road is well looked after, you gotta pay, guys. That's the way it is. You have to embrace development.
What joy do you derive from driving a 25 million naira car on a road that is riddled with pot holes?

What joy does a Naija rich man derive in flying first class only to get to Lagos and drive the whole stretch of road called the 3rd Mainland Bridge without street lights? Which is more dangerous? Class of flight or a dangerous road? It seems crazy and stooopid.

I am sorry.
PoliticsRe: Anti-Gay Bill: “Go Back To School” Soyinka Tells Nigerian Legislators by Olaone1: 9:39am On Dec 19, 2011
The prof is right. Nigerian Legislators are simply useless.

What is their problem with people's private lives?

What is their problem if some men choose to become pillow biters?

It isn't their problem. As far as I am concerned, it means nothing.

They said it's a foreign thing. I am sorry because everything we know in Africa is foreign. Islam is foreign. Christianity is foreign.

We accepted them because they kill our forefathers. They basically forced them. As a result, we are now Christians/Muslims.

May be the US needs to drop one or 2 drones, and we will adopt it as well. It is our way. . . we yield to super powers.

I can't say i blame you, kid. Perhaps those of us who respond to an obvious troll like yourself should shoulder the blame for encouraging your juvenile, brainless and childish drivel.

Please run along to mummy and daddy for some more pocket money. The people who fork out 18 - 25% of their salaries know that the State Govt owes them good roads in return. Repairing the existing road should rightly come out of the tax money these fellows pay.
Id.iot! I knew you would be back with your usual rants.

You have options, you trolling id.iot.

2. Go green

3. Get your self swept away by an avalanche or just curl up and die. Would you?

The percentage of rich as you put it naija big boy living in Lekki is infinitesimal compared to the middle, low class and poor people in the same area. People just conclude lekki houses only the rich forgetting the poor masses there.

You may find it hard to believe, but many Nigerians pay hefty taxes to the state Government. If you're performing your duty of paying taxes without any complaints, why should the state Government regard fulfilling their own end of the bargain as 'giving people on a platter'?

I know small boys like you who subsist on pocket money from your mummy or daddy will not understand. Hopefully, when you grow up you will understand the strong feelings this move is evoking in these Lekki indigenes.
Who let this lunatic out?! Who?!

It is compulsory you pay taxes, Mr it's-my-right. Keep your idiotic utterances to yourself. W-a-n-ker!

Here we go again. I though we've gone beyond this stage. Don't drag us back Mr Western World.
Move the hell out of the area. Stop this Naija big boys lifestyle if you can afford it.

If you have 4 cars, sell 3 and pay the toll.

Easy!
PoliticsRe: Occupy Lekki: Lekki Toll Gate Protest-update by Olaone1: 10:02pm On Dec 18, 2011
If you can afford to own 40 million naira worth of cars, if you can buy a duplex for 100 million naira, then you should be able to pay the toll. Stop whinging, guys.

Guys abroad pay for all these things. That's why they have constant electricity, etc. And, that's why many of them don't have much savings. Just go and pay the gaddem thing and stop being petulant!

You have 4 - 5 drivers, you pay insurance on none of them. You have house helps, you pay them pittance! Move to a Western country and let me know if you will be able to afford 4 -5 drivers. You are rich, please pay up or move to a 'bill-friendly' city.

Whingers!
