OLADD: I used to think Punch is a responsible tabloid but its reportage since the begining of the electionering campaigns have really shown how despicable they are. All their stories have been selective and pro-APC and that's inimical to our journalisim landscape. Renting crowd is an anomaly that cut accross all parties and not peculiar to PDP as against the picture been painted by Punch. Really pathetic. Punch has gone to the dogs. |

neocortex: What an unbalanced article! , punch took their time to cite examples from PDP camp but neglected those of APC. Who is fooling who. Contract journalism. Thank God you noticed it as well. Yellow journalism. Too bad |

He paid them all, so bring anyone in that house online... dnt just talk..think and bring us your achievements when u were in power(akala, ladoja, teslim or whosoever is paying u).... we have achieved and we are going back to prevent Oyo from going back to the bad old days Dotun (special adviser, Media, to Ajimobi), is that you? Please, quit this unnecessary Ajimobi propaganda. Spend your time on something worthwhile and pro-people. Ajimobi is a goner. Stop this futile attempt to whitewash him and spin things on Nairaland. 10,000, 000 Nairaland pages can NOT bring Ajimobi back. He is a goner. Take care |

The official who released the said SoR did Buhari no favours. He is supposedly in possession of the results database, but, surprisingly, he chose to write "Muhamed" instead of "Muhamadu". Food for thought |
Politics › Re: Katsina College Releases Buhari’s WASC Results by Olaone1: 7:02am On Jan 22, 2015 |
It is a shock, though. Buhari does not have a copy of his certificate, yet, he knows his exam number 54 years after writing it. Maybe he is a genius |
Politics › Re: Katsina College Releases Buhari’s WASC Results by Olaone1: 9:01pm On Jan 21, 2015 |
SirShymex: Thanks, Sir.
They just need to write Cambridge for confirmation/affidavit. It's pretty much straight-forward. Cosigned. |
Politics › Re: Katsina College Releases Buhari’s WASC Results by Olaone1: 8:54pm On Jan 21, 2015 |
They also made a mistake with that pix. It wasn't necessary looking at the copy. |
Politics › Re: Katsina College Releases Buhari’s WASC Results by Olaone1: 8:50pm On Jan 21, 2015 |
SirShymex: I believe the exam was conducted by an external body, so the external body should be the one in possession of the certificate - not the school. They can only print out what they've got in their database, not the certificate. You are right. I have seen what the results database of naija secondary schools look like. They can be released. they don't look like that. And, certainly not hand written. All secondary schools have such. |
Politics › Re: Katsina College Releases Buhari’s WASC Results by Olaone1: 8:39pm On Jan 21, 2015 |
And, assuming his school in Katsina released this copy, it means the school is in possession of the original sheets. It is proper for the school to release the original |
Politics › Re: Katsina College Releases Buhari’s WASC Results by Olaone1: 8:36pm On Jan 21, 2015 |
And, if Buhari indeed wrote Cambridge/WAEC, it is simply not possible for Katsina State to give us his grades since it wasn't a state exam. Where did Katsina state copy it from? Why not release the original?

smileysmiles: Heard d same rumors but i think accord only has a large followership in ibadan. I laugh in Mandarin. Well, whatever, APC is in for it. You don't rule a State like it is your personal fiefdom. You don't trample upon their freedom, daily bread and existence with dictatorial recklessness while members of your own family live large on the commonwealth. |
Politics › Re: Ajimobi's Daughters Stun At Dad's Re-election Campaign- Photos by Olaone1: 11:58pm On Jan 17, 2015 |
Let me reveal what these politicians do to get huge crowd at these political rallies.
They start with free distribution of Ankara and money to every ward. It is however a must for recipients of the fabric to attend. It is "attend or return our Ankara and money". No story! And, we all know poor people need every freebie they can get. So, they willfully promise to attend. Buses and vans are also provided, free of charge, to convey them to rally grounds.
In Oyo state, each local govt area has about 12 wards. So, each ward typically targets 500 people for such rallies. 500 people multiplied by 12 wards = 6000 people.
Now, multiply 6,000 by over 30 local govt areas we have in Oyo state. You have over 180,000 people. This is their modus operandi.
So, it is no rocket science. And, certainly, political rallies are not representative of public opinion. And, above all, not a foolproof gauge of the direction the ever-dicey political pendulum will swing.
