If Kanu is 28, then, I am 26 (or something along that line) - Ian Wright

Harry Redknapp said something similar to this about Kanu

Redknapp also said Kanu came to him to beg for a new contract: "gaffer....gaffer, give me a new contract" [after he (Kanu) helped Portsmouth win the FA Cup]
BusinessRe: Why Linda Ikeji Makes More Money Than Nairaland by Olaone1:
scribble: I know a bit about blogging and us advertisers advertise in blogs too

Ever heard of gossip, Perez Hilton, TMZ, WorldStar? huh

Major US companies, the Fortune 500 and Hollywood routinely do product activation with these guys

Besides Linda probably makes double that N3m. U don see that big IMO banner today

Her "daddy" probably thinks she is a wizard blogging from iPhone and computer making billions
Advertisers are ready to advertise on any platform. It doesn't matter if it's a blog. They want traffic.....they want conversion.

Linda is into gossip; has no ethics. it is all about profit maximization unlike Nairaland. Seun even rejects ads, at times

Some of the stories (gossip) on LIB are, in fact, ads.

manny4life: That you're an introvert doesn't mean you don't go to or participate in social events; it means you're quiet and reserved. Mark is known; he has made several presentations about his company. When his company was about to go public, he was the face of the IPO. When he wants to buy out smaller companies or introduce new applications, he's in the public eye. That's more than enough for Toyota to spend more than $40 million annually for advertising.
Mark is an American. He owns a site that has millions of users. His is a public company. Also, raising an IPO is not moin moin. You have to come out of your shell to make real dough outta it. It's all about being business-savvy. It was a strategy
In fact, Zuckerberg began to really socialize when he decided his "baby" was going public. It was a ploy!

maclatunji: I have analysed this in the past. Linda Ikeji's blog is the top Nigerian online advertising destination and there is hardly any doubt about it.
Even Seun knows this
BusinessRe: Why Linda Ikeji Makes More Money Than Nairaland by Olaone1: 2:25pm On Sep 17, 2014
In addition, Nairaland is not just about low-income earners. That's is a big fat LIE. How do they put a face to an anonymous moniker? That's a silly generalization.

It should also be noted that Seun does not really want to monetize Nairaland. Just look at his silly, rigid ad columns. Seun is a black nerd - the bunker-dwelling type. undecided undecided

mark Zuckerberg is AN INTROVERT, dear
BusinessRe: Why Linda Ikeji Makes More Money Than Nairaland by Olaone1: 2:09pm On Sep 17, 2014
Megaphone: Nairaland doesn't have a face. He compared Stella Dimok to Linda. He said how many times do you see Stella in Public? Shes based in Germany and so no face. Same with Nairaland. No one knows whos behind it. He said Great organisations always have a face. A CEO out there in the public eyes. He then gave examples like Bill Gates, Mark Zuckerberg, and so many others. They're out there in the public eye. That he said does not just attract customers but big time investors. He said Linda Ikeji is more out there, more social and so people like her (shes pretty too) and trust her with big money more than someone whom they do not even know!

Nairaland's frontpage contains trashy topics. He said when you got topics like ' Why do ladies fart?'on the frontpage or which do you prefer Chicken or turkey on a front page, then that kind of site cant be taken serious by any customer or investor. Linda's blog on the other hand contains trendy and fashionable topics that attracts upscale folks and wealthy readers. Advertisers he says love such a medium.
I disagree!
Mark Zuckerberg is not out there in the public eye. Also, being "out there" does not attract investors. As far as investors are concerned, it is all about the bottom line. Forum business is all about "traffic" and your marketing skills

Moreover, Nairaland homepage does not have trashy topics, what it has is known as variety (forum jargon). Choice!

The term "bridge" encompasses "flyover" and more.

Thus, a flyover is also a bridge
TravelRe: Longest Flyover In West Africa Nearing Completion By Kano State Government by Olaone1: 5:36am On Sep 11, 2014
astana1: kano state fly-over longest in west africa.

To those who do not know the diffrence between a bridge and fly-over
A Bridge is a structure which connects two points separated by a natural phenomena viz., river, valley, sea, any other water body. A Flyover is a structure which connects two or more points which are already accessible and is really flying over and/or across manmade structures viz., road, railway, building, street.
This is NOT true
