Peeps

Well, it's so disappointing that most introverts still do not know the difference between shyness and introversion even after the topic has been addressed umpteen times.

For those who graduated from School of nursing, are they required to do the Jamb regularization?
Education / Re: DIRECT ENTRY Admission. by Olarewajub: 6:33pm On Jun 09, 2017
Julietm:

Yeah , school of nursing is not among, infact the only people admitted through direct entry into medical college are B.sc holder's with 95% chance slots and school nursing with 5% Chance slots. But school of health NO, a candidate from school of health can easily but in a rare scenerio be placed in other sciencs but never medical college. Please be well guided.

This does not apply for Medical Laboratory Science

MLSCN has no relationship with NMA
Education / Re: DIRECT ENTRY Admission. by Olarewajub: 10:22am On Jun 09, 2017
Julietm:

Please be well informed because information is power. No university, I repeat no university in Nigerian admits polytechnic graduate either ND or HND into medical college/school/courses, that's the NMA law for admission into medical courses. So my dear think of any other natural science courses to apply and don't waste money and time chasing shadow

What about those who attended Colleges of health and school of Nursing?

there was no direct entry screening exam. Last year, you only submit ur documents online for screening, dey use GP and olevel to admit last year, but dis year may be different. UNN is easy to gain admission via DE cos the school used to admit more DE candidates

Are you a student of UNN or direct entry applicant.

Do you know whether O'level was graded last year?
In terms of CGPA, I'm on a good standing.

30 students were admitted for medical laboratory science. I hope the number does not reduce this year.

Checked mine on saturday. My name was not on d list.
Storm, I'm so happy 4 u. U deserve it. Others who didn't get d admission, don't loose hope just yet. And most importantly, don't act desperate. Cos some people might take dat opportunity 2 dupe u off ur hard earned money or worse...
Just like I did with a "professor" who happens to be an ex-vc of UNN. I was very hopeful dat he was going 2 help me only for him 2 ask me 2 come and meet him in a hotel. Aside from the fact that I'm happily married with children(thank God), some things r just not morally justifiable. That said, pls be careful. Once u did ur best and prayed about it, God has a reason for omitting ur name from dat list- it is for His greater glory. Just trust Him.
Cheers.

thank u bro. Unn is the school of my choice and they are not doing pre degree. And i want unn

If money is not a problem, you can do the programme in any other University and switch to UNN next year. This way you'll be prepared for next Year Jamb. Staying at home doing nothing for one whole year can be quite frustrating.

In another sense, you can apply to a polytechnic for admission. If you study hard you'll be able to apply for direct entry in UNN.

pls the remedial program is it done in uni?

Yes, the programme is conducted by the University of your choice. I kind of prefer the pre degree programme to attending a polytechnic.

thanks bro. Pls can u tel me the kind of institution that will accept that score for the program?

You don't need Jamb to get admitted in to a pre degree programme.

Go for Remedial programme.

itz conventional to give credence to Federal Uni over state Uni irrespective of ur reason.... if u can't choose Unilag as 2nd choice don't try UNN oooo, bcus UNN z to d East wat Unilag z to d west. since u are considering State Uni jx pick them for both choices cus if u are considering fed school na second state go carry

Please i don't get your last statement :

UNN second choice...... I bet Oxford, Harvard or Yale has to be ur first choice. don't even try it.

LOL 1st choice is Cambridge University.
On a serious note, do you think state University will consider one for second choice especially when you are a non indigene.
Education / Re: DIRECT ENTRY Admission. by Olarewajub: 8:13am On May 23, 2017
Does UNN accept second choice?
