Hehehehe. Nigerians indeed are unique fellows. No lies! Assuming Nigerians were in stead of the Israelites back then when crossing the red sea, you know what they'll be doing? Updating their BBM status, saying: ~ Chilling with Moses Miracle tinz ~ Red sea turned dry land Oh ma God!! ~ Moses on point ~ Crossing da red sea with leg ~ End of Pharaoh etc.... Wonderland-------> NIGERIA! True or False? Oya add your own. More funny stuffs are available at Naija Talkative |
The tablet is out in some stores now but be careful who and where you buy from. The battery can go 8 hours with minimum use as far as I've seen. As for detachable keyboard, I don't know yet. |
MTN Nigeria has 'enriched' our lives once again with NextApps store, powered by neXva. NextApps store is a store developed specifically for local apps and not to forget, global apps too. It has an integrated local payment option too by allowing subscribers to pay for premium apps with prepaid airtime or postpaid phone bills. Nice one I say! A quote from Shaun Zebler, CEO of neXva goes thus: [blockquote]We know that app store customers are looking for a localized experience in the depth and breadth of the apps offered. This informs why our content team is always on the lookout for the newest, best and most relevant apps that can bring MTN’s customers in Nigeria a very personalized catalogue of apps that is very relevant to their day-to-day lives. The NextApps Store delivers a rich selection of the best Nigerian and global apps. Tecno Mobile has again done something surprising! Giving us Tecno N9 Phantom PAD is just what I was talking about. Following the debut of Tecno F7 Pantom A, which wowed geeks and end-consumers; Tecno decided to move on to the tablet train with good hold on the rails. Wait! I’ll still talk about the specs, I just need to point out ‘a little something’ – I see Tecno stealing the smartphones market in Nigeria but heck! Are they going to grab the wheels in the tablet world too? How are they intending on pushing Samsung and Apple off balance? Fine! I understand that we get amazing specs for a far lower price than what the kings give us but is this really going to happen? I guess the answers to my questions will be unveiled very soon. You can give your view as a comment below too. Tecno N9 (PHANTOM PAD) specs: ► Single sim input ► 2G/3G Network support ► 9.9mm slim (204x154x9.9mm) ► Runs Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) ► 8.0 inch capacitive touchscreen (728×1024 resolution) ► 1.2GHz quad core processor ► 1GB RAM ► 16GB internal memory ► Supports microSD up to 32GB ► 5MP camera on the rear and 2MP front-facing camera ► Bluetooth 3.0 ► Wi-fi with hotspot feature ► microUSB v2.0 ► Audio format: MP3, MIDI, AMR, WAV, AAC ► Video format: MP4, 3GP, AVI ► Facebook, Gmail pre-installed ► GPS, G-Sensor ► 3.5mm earphone jack ► 4800mAh Battery This is arguably a good one to start up with. My thumbs are up for Tecno! Price of Tecno N9 ( PHANTOM PAD): Tecno N9 although not officially released but the price is currently tagged at N36,500. Another great feature of Blackberry 10 OS is the ability to house your favourite websites on the home screen of the device running it. This also give you fast access to the website. Now, to get started, launch your BB10 browser, go to a website and press the action key below the browser, followed by tapping ‘Add to homescreen’ and the website will be added. That simple! Former EastEnders star, Martine McCutcheon who went bankrupt earlier this week spilled shock as she tweeted about her new £1,000 hair-do. She didn't really make it from scratch; She only added extensions to the original bob on her and it cost a whooping £1,000. She rushed to twitter, expressing how happy she was about the hair saying: [blockquote] You cheered me up with your kindness and new luscious hair! Thanks for treating me and making me feel nice.[/blockquote] - To gold hair extensions company. After going bankrupt, she splashed a total sum of £1,000 on hair extension. Interesting! Meanwhile, it was revealed that the hair company gave discount in return for the online praise. Source: http://naijatalkative..com/2013/02/martine-mccutcheon-makes-1000-hair-do.html

President Goodluck Jonathan has again lashed out at ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo, describing him as a confused man unstable in his views regarding government’s handing of the protracted Boko Haram insurgency. Mr. Jonathan, who spoke through his spokesperson, Reuben Abati, was reacting to Mr. Obasanjo’s comment in a CNN interview that the president had been deploying excessive force and exploring little or no dialogue in solving the Boko Haram problem. “To deal with a group like that, you need a carrot and stick. The carrot is finding out how to reach out to them. When you try to reach out to them and they are not amenable to being reached out to, you have to use the stick,” Mr. Obasanjo reportedly said. An apparently angry Mr. Abati took to Twitter early this morning deploring the former president’s comment and labeling him a confused man whose counsel or view the government does not care about. In four different tweets this morning, the presidential spokesperson said, “In Nov. 2012 in Warri, fmr Prez. Obasanjo accused federal govt of being soft on Boko Haram. He recommended the Odi solution: genocide. “In Jan.2013, OBJ tells CNN Govt shd adopt a carrot and stick approach to Boko Haram. Genocide & dialogue? Where exactly does he stand? “OBJ’s position on Boko Haram= Contradiction and Confusion writ large. “One report says OBJ is recommending a multifaceted approach to Boko Haram. This govt certainly doesn’t need a lecture on that! “Jonathan administration has shown creativity & purposefulness in handling the BH challenge. Hence, the progress we witness.” Mr. Obasanjo first angered Mr. Jonathan after he suggested that the president appeared a weak leader given the way he was handling the security challenges facing the country. In his comment, the former President reminded the nation of how he directed security agencies to invade Odi, Rivers State, to fish out militants who killed some security men during his tenure. An angry Mr. Jonathan however hit back at Mr. Obasanjo during his last media chat, saying the Odi invasion Mr. Obasanjo boasted about did not solve the problem but only ended up shedding the blood of the innocent. Since then, elements loyal to the two men within the party have engaged one another in a war of words, and the national leadership of the party has been desperate for a reconciliation. But when a peace team, led by party chairman Bamanga Tukur, visited the ex-President in his Ota farm on December 15, Mr. Obasanjo insisted he would continue to comment on national issues whenever necessary not minding whose ox is gored. http://naijatalkative..com/2013/01/goodluck-jonathan-calls-obasanjo.html |

Yeah Yeah! It was fun meeting other bloggers. Well, what was more fun was learning with visual tutorials. I enjoyed it! |
virtuoso01: Despite all these impressive features the real spoiler is the Java S40, it is an outdated platform with very serious limitations. That's everyone's complain. What Nokia did was that they created a high class phone for s40 series. |
HTC 8S is a good phone but I will prefer the Lumia 920 over it. They ain't mate though. 512RAM and 1700mAh battery is kinda low for this brilliant device. |
Imagine someone use style to propose Linda Ikeji here on Nairaland. I can't laugh o. Okay so today is Linda Ikeji's birthday and I've seen couple of hundreds of wishes thrown at her except this one that made my day with excessive laughter. I was almost wetting myself with urine (Don't think too far though). The message below was an open birthday message/proposal by a Nairaland member to Linda Ikeji; Have fun reading! Hey Linda baby, i know you are a member of nairaland. So am i. I have no qualities, no blog, no big money, no national award, no permanent US visa. But i have a house in the village that can accomodate us if worse come to worse. I have a car that, if you put enough petrol on, it can take you and i to any part of Africa. My father left a lot of lands in the village to cultivate Yams and its Coco sister, Cassava, pepper, okro, maize.. You see we can never become poor. But of course you have evolved from human being to cyborg. Looking down to those natural things isnt possible anymore. And while i sit on my sitting room typing this with my Nokia, i wish to ask Linda, would you marry me? I wanted to announce this at your birthday party but i cant risk being thrown out by a bulky looking guy. Dont worry, i will accept 'no' as well as 'yes'. Bye bye. Do people even use 'bye bye' again? Happy Birthday Linda! From all of us at NaijaTalkative. Story found at http://naijatalkative..com/2012/09/open-birthday-messageproposal-to-linda.html The thread that brought about this is at https://www.nairaland.com/1052735/happy-birthday-linda-ikeji-32 |
