Hey guys, just got a regret mail from FMN now, it’s funny though because I feel I did well. It’s nice to be here with everyone. I got an offer elsewhere though which I wouldn’t have rejected over FMN.

Nah, I was only asked how my course of study relates with what they do, and I told them i can function in the Agro-allied sector, and because it’s a graduate trainee position, I can actually function anywhere since we are still going be trained.

I guess the departments you mentioned here are under the engineering division, just a thought.

Questions asked:
1. Tell us about yourself
2. Asked questions about my CV
3. Asked some technical mechanical questions (I read mechanical engineering)
4. Asked some situational analysis questions (if so and so happens, how would you handle it)
5. Asked when i would be available to resume, if i pass this stage
6. Asked if i had any salary expectation in mind

All in all...it was kul, but the rest remains in God's hand.

What was your response on your available time to resume and did you get any hint on possible time of resumption.

I am worried about what would happen when I get another offer elsewhere, where I will be required to accept within a short time when there is no hope PWC would get back before that time. And I hope the offer is not one I would be required to sign a 2 year bond.

I’m not sure if it’s the same for everyone, you know you guys studied engineering and your questions might be technical. These are the ones I can remember from my session.

1. Tell us about yourself
2. How does your course of study relate with your current role and how do you think it will relate with what we do in FMN
3. Do your prefer working in a team or as a team lead.

Team - Tell us about a time you had conflict with your team members, what happened and what did you do.

4. Tell us about a time you were not sure of how to carry out a task, how did you go about it.

5. What motivate you.

6. What is your mid-term goal

7. Can’t remember exactly how this was asked but something like why do you want to work for FMN was asked.

The test was GMAT format.

Just a guess, seems all that got invites studied engineering.

hello bro, I studied petroleum engineering too, and I just got invited for the first stage of aptitude test (1:00pm-1:30pm tommorow)... please share insights about the test

So FMN is still sending invites to people to write test, could this mean they have concluded with picking people from the first interviews and didn’t get up to 60 people they planned on picking.

I no understand this thing again o.

For the new guys getting invites. After our first test, those who were successful got invites for a program where we had another test. We got to know they will be employing 60 GTs during the program. I’m just surprised they sent new invites to people, hence my comment. Please take no offense.

I am aware of someone who has 10 years of experience in the role he applied for with FMN and he has been given an offer letter. He will be joining FMN by next month inShaa Allah.

I don’t think they send regret mails. What we get from previous stages is that only successful candidate will be contacted.

My advise would be to send them a mail as a follow up.

It is as stated in the invite, basic quantitative and verbal reasoning. Situational judgment test and abstract reasoning.

Normal graph interpretations , basic word problems, synonyms, antonyms and the likes.

For the situational judgment test, you will be given series of situations and options to pick which is best or least likely of you.

Mine was two. Though three were online but only two introduce themselves. One is white and the other black. I have forgotten their names though . But it's not same name as urs anyway. Mine is Mech Engrng. Which course do u rep?

I studied an agric related course. Soil Science and Land Management. I guess my hypothesis is wrong then.

How many panels were present ?, I had 3 people interview me. One of them is Macualy, just wanted to be sure if it was the same people who interviewed us, because it looks like just 3 of us are commenting on this and looking at the time, you started 9.30 -10, Mboma did. 10.30 - 11, while mine was 11-11.30.

This is just an hypothesis though, not saying it is correct.

Oh okay, I’m just curious because we have done a second stage screening where we had a program.

If you can confirm that the mail you got is for the stage after the second screening I’m talking about here, that means they have moved on to the next stage.
