Your attitude and not aptitude will mostly determine your altitude in life |
In time of peace, you prepare for war. |
If imitation is limitation, and attitude determine one altitude in life, why not drop that attitude of imitation so that your altitude will not be limited. |
In no particular order. Tunde Fagbenle (sunday punch), Haruna Muhammed (the nation), Simon Kolawole(thisday), Adelakun(punch), Femi Adeshina (sun), Duro Onabule (sun), funke egbemode (sun), yomi odunuga (the nation), sina (sun) |
queensmith:he's not yet a stateman |
This thread is interesting. First, as usual with NLer people chose according to ethnic and religion line. Imagine somebody condemning Murtala as religion bigot. Secondly, it also shows our hypocrisy about Buhari, as at the last count over 7 people has mention his name, yet when we have the chance to give him the mantle of leadership we decline. To Obj, as usual we keep condemning him, i've no problem with that but let look inward there is something about this day, why is the international community still revers him? |
Good one there |
May Allah bless you and continue to increase you in knowledge. |
Thank you, i love it when i share idea with an open minded fellow like you. The scourge of HIV is far low in the northern part of the country than the southern part, even more low in "sharia" practicing state of Zamfara |
People often tout corruption as the bane of Nigeria problem, this assertion to me is misplacement. Corruption can be found in every country cum economy, from US, UK, China down to Russia corruption can be found so why is Nigeria case different. Our developmental problem is cause by stupidity on the part of our leaders. Just imagine this scenerio, A leader steal some money, i just begin to laugh what will they do with the huge amount that sometimes runs into billion naira. Do this simple maths. If you have #1b, and you're spending #50k daily. It'll take you 54years and some months to spend it. Is that not madness. What do you think can be done to stop this senseless corrupt leaders, worse still the money stolen will not be invested at home, atleast that will mop up some of the unemploy youth but reverse is the case with ours here, instead of investing the money at home we prefer to take it away creating a sort of artificial "capital flight". Have you ever heard of an American lodging money in our bank. No, it is we that normally do that. All those that have drain our purse in the past, if they can be compel to invest the stolen money in the country. Our economy will be better for it, i rest my case. |
bong4:which antecedent will not make you not to trust muslim? |
Try and understand the concept of sharia banking before comment. I have explain it on this thread. |
May God forgive you for you know not what you are saying |
Check it out, those clamouring against it are doing so not because the idea is not good, but because the mindset they have against any thing islam cum sharia, check it out |
No, criminal case is prosecute by the state and according to the state law. Cutting of hand is not part of sharia banking. Clear |
How will they have time to research when they are blinded by anti tinubu campaign |
The scourge of Boko haram in recent days has come to remind one of the deadliest era of the Niger Delta militant, some even saying they are the new replacement for them. A group that started barely a decade ago and which activities was only intensify about 2 years ago has now grown to be a clog in the wheel of our security. The target of this deadly group is mostly security formation and political associate of a top politician in the North east of the country, this is contrary to the "acclaimed" believe of the group that they are against the "western education", since there activites started no any institution of learning has been attack, this call for sober reflection. Many suggestions have been propounded on ways the government can stop the boko haram insurgence. Though many people have suggested amnesty as was done for the Niger Delta militant as being suggested by the Borno state governor, i have no objection to that. So also people have come to realize to realize that illiteracy is also another factor. Very correct and i think government is looking into this direction as it has propose the building of over hundred schools in the north. That's also okay. But before they proceed with all these let them know that the biggest and strongest set of people to fight is a person that have an ideology to defend. That is why thousand of Bush with all his weapons and technology is not able to defeat the al qaeda. Therefore, in building this schools, govt should look for way of merging the western education and islamic education that way a change of ideology will be reach. After all Islam is a religion that preaches peace, which some people are just trying to give a bad name. |

Let's get something clear, being a sharia bank does not means it will be in the hand of muslims. No in uk, the 1st islamic bank is headed by a christain |
@roland17 what a sad reminder of 9ja dark era i pray we'll never witness such again. |
igbo boy:i would have respond to your senseless reasoning, because at times silence is not golden, on this thread which prove or source have you provided for all your comment just the normal subjective and bias line of reasoning. For your info there is nothing like yorooba muslim. |
selingel:truly you dont practice what you preach. Did you think at all before you type? Which better way did you provide in your reasoning. Dont talk because you have mouth but do so because you have tangible thing to say. |
Barka da jummah. Dont forget to take the spiritual bath |

@doyin dont be discourage, we enjoy your incisive and objective analysis. Keep it up |
Abeg forget that paper |
begwong:you just add a comical tune to the raging debate. |
You don't even know this man. Google his article and read more about him, idea and philosophy. |
@Enjoyo i love that comparison. If we can have universities why not banks. It's what NUC is doing that CBN will be doing. |
You can tell me because i dont know the number |
igbo boy:shut up your mouth. |
