I just feel like I’m in power. When you can’t say it to my face, you’re scared. It doesn’t matter. Now when you say it to me, we would have some problems. But he didn’t say it to me. There are a million and one Tenis out there, he might not be talking about me.

Plus, what he said was just very dumb and stupid cuz are you quantifying success to people’s weight or being skinny? What you should be concerned about is am I healthy? That’s what I try to educate Nigerians on. Just because somebody is fat doesn’t mean they’re not healthy. You might be skinny but are you healthy? Have you checked your blood count? When last did you go to the hospital?

I get checked out two, three times a year both in Nigeria and in America. I have good health care. I’m fine. Worry about yourself. Go and get checked. I know some people worry and say I hope she’s fine. Well my cholesterol is fine. My heart is fine. I know sometimes it’s from a place of love.

Being a woman and then having the audacity to be in a space where you don’t want to be someone else. You’re gracefully walking in your glory and then people get offended by that. They get offended by it and I don’t have time. You see this time frame I have that God has sent me here to be the best me, instead of me to use it worrying about you, I’m building a legacy.

Following the yesterday fraca, Seyi Shay is out to explain her own side of the story following the exchange of dirty word fight with Tiwa Savage. In a recorded phone conversation which was exclusively obtained by Pulse Nigeria, had her open-ups about her own side of the story.

Seyi Shay accused Tiwa of trying to get her kicked off endorsement deals and also fighting another artiste for featuring her on a song amongst other things.

Shay was in America when she saw a video of ‘Lova Lova’ featuring Duncan Mighty pop up on her television screen. Surprised alongside members of her team, she placed a call to Tiwa Savage to clarify her stance. She had co-written the song with Nigerian singer-songwriter, Ceeza Milli who passed it to Savage without prior notice.

Shay claims that she only asked for metadata and rights to the song but she was confronted by roadblocks. In 2014, Shay had butted heads with a pregnant Savage.

In the same audio that Pulse obtained, Shay says that Savage threatened to sue a brand if she [Shay] wasn’t pulled from an ambassadorial role. She further says Savage also allegedly picked a fight with a popular male artist for featuring on a song for the two female artists respectively.

According to the Murder crooner, it hurt her because she once had a miscarriage.

"It hurt me because I've had a miscarriage before and I know the kind of pain that I felt when going through that so, for another woman not only to skin-shame you but to now tell you that God will not give you a child, that you'll not have a child."

A proposal to change Nigeria’s name to United African Republic has been received by the House of Representatives Special Committee on Constitution Review.

The proposal was submitted by Adeleye Jokotoye, a tax consultant to the committee at the South West zonal public hearing in Lagos.

According to Jokotoye, the name ‘Nigeria’ was imposed on the country in the colonial era, hence it should be changed.

Jokotoye also explained that he chose ‘United Africa Republic’ because the country is made up of hundreds of ethnic groups that need to be United.

He also suggested as an alternative, ‘United Alkebulan Republic’ (Alkebulan means ‘mother of mankind’).

A 21-year-Old Dominic Joshua, the CEO of Brisk Capital Limited has been arrested by operatives of the police special fraud unit (PSFU), for conning & diverting investor’s funds worth over N2 billion.
