TravelRe: Truck Carrying People From North To Delta Disguised As Foodstuff Intercepted by oldman112(m): 10:30am On Apr 24, 2020
Rebuke:
Hmmmm. In my own opinion, I think some things are not being done well here.

The question is, why are these people so hellbent on travelling to Delta?

Then the possible answers could be, some people got caught up in Lagos by this lockdown.
Some might have thought this lockdown was just going to last for 2weeks as initially announced and have possibly taught "ok, we can just endure just 2 weeks and we go back home in Deta."

Unfortunately, it didn't end as they taught and now they have exhausted all resources to keep staying in Lagos.

Just picture it, if yhu only went to Lagos on a short visit or business trip and this happened, yhu could be putting up with people who are now tired of hosting yhu and yhu need get back home.

So solution, while not at least give room for those who got caught up in other states the opportunity to get back to their families?

How? The government should provide a means of transportation putting every necessary precaution in place to avoid the spread of the virus. Once they get to their home state, they should be quarantined for the required number of days before being released to their various families.

Of course, yhu must be able to give cogent reason before being allowed or helped by the government.

If not, people who feel caged somewhere far away from homeland will always find a means to move no matter how risky and could end up endangering their own lives and others.

Just my opinion.
Is not an opinion is fact

FamilyRe: What Comes With Marrying The Breadwinner Of A Family? by oldman112(m): 9:33pm On Apr 18, 2020
VivleBriella:
Good day everyone

I've been a guest for a couple of years now, created an account to seek advice

My dear nairalanders, does it always end well marrying the Breadwinner of a family? He's the last born with 4 elder siblings but they all depend on him.

Yes, I knew he was the Breadwinner from day one but I thought with time, everyone else will be able to stand on their own, but it hasn't happened yet, we've dated for 3yrs now and he doesn't support me financially. I don't complain but he feels entitled to my money and when I get tired of him always asking me to lend him some money and decide to say no, he nags and tells me I'm not being supportive enough.

This is driving me really crazy cause he reminded me of how unsupportive I've been to him and his family, he's driving me insane, you can't possibly put the responsibility of your family on my shoulders, that's crazy and insensitive, over the years, I've borrowed him nothing less than 500k which I know for sure he's never giving back.

Is it normal to be in a parasitic relationship whereby the female remains the host that's being fed on?

I'm only 24 while he's 31.
You are still dating , Nne am not against you helping a friend but do things you are sure you won't regret Tomorrow, am sure you head is telling you something while your heart is saying another thing, use your head

PoliticsRe: Abba Kyari's Death: Governors El-rufai, Sani Bello, Bala Mohammed React by oldman112(m): 12:30pm On Apr 18, 2020
Am becoming confused, is it that his punishment for been part of the corrupt leaders is death or that he died prematurely, death is a debt all humans will pay. The only take home I see here is that our leaders will be afraid thinking that if he had traveled abroad he would be fine but is not true his time has come. Me personally I don't like our politicians I can't even be a close friend to a politicians son.but he died at a good age

What kind of men is this generation breeding. Fools and weaklers? you are here seeking public opinion on how to send a b!tch away in your own house. Is that funny?
Fiustly; did you seeked advice when she came in and everything was rosy? When you guys was having fun and everything seems to be good. Did you asked for public opinion?
Secondly: what exactly is your relationship with her. Cos your message is not detailed.
And lastly: you need to man up and start taking responsibilities for your actions. If you had not allowed her in the first place. She wouldn’t have been comfortable to the extent of staying for days till you are exhausted. My advise is to sit her ass down and air it to her. There’s no point in putting a pretentious act just to pass your message. Be straight and blunt enough while telling her. So she knows you aren’t whatever she’s taking you for. (Mumu). She just wanna pass the lockdown expenses on you. So do not be a victim. !
Our friend is already a victim, I nealy did that mistake ooo, but she refused
