Robben recently talked about how he was chased out of Madrid, there’s a reason why Madrid never tried buying an outstanding striker during the period Ronaldo was there. Tho benzima is good but we all know he needed to be removed but Madrid kept him because he was less of a competition to Ronaldo. I’m not taking it out Ronaldo is good n I love he’s brilliance in positioning but..... Now let’s come to Barca. Barca had the best trio in the world Neymar Suarez n Messi. In a league where Neymar will score 28 goals, Suarez 30 goals and Messi will score about 40 goals not as center forward o but false 9. He dribbles from in field creates the chances n all n still get the most goals. I tell u if Ronaldo was in that team then he won’t score much becos the competition will be too much for him. Yet Messi still strives n surpasses them even scores more than Ronaldo that has less competition n where Marcelo casimero modric etc feed him ball to score. The only country trophy Ronaldo have whether gold bronze or silver either junior or senior team is just euro cup, Messi have Olympic gold, under 21 gold, senior team WC silver, WC golden boot, Copa America medals as best player twice, I can go on n on |

Jesus only told us as Christians to only celebrate he’s death. All these other ones added are not biblical n Jesus and God never commanded us as Christians to observe these things. Let’s not add or remove to our worship of God. |
OP only quote bible verse only u Dey deviate from wetin u quote. Haba why? Where there are matured Christian and exemplary men in the house of God no woman is qualified to teach the congregation. |
What Happens at Death? The Bible’s Viewpoint What Happens at Death? GOD’S human sons were not meant to die. (Romans 8:20, 21) In fact, when Jehovah first spoke of death to Adam, it was mentioned, not as the outcome that man should normally expect, but as the punishment for disobedience to God. (Genesis 2:17) Adam understood what death meant, since he would have seen animals die. Adam sinned, and he paid the price for it by dying at the age of 930 years. (Genesis 5:5; Romans 6:23) Having been expelled from God’s family for disobedience, he was no longer considered a son of God. (Deuteronomy 32:5) The Bible says this about the sad consequences for mankind: “Through one man sin entered into the world and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men.”—Romans 5:12. What Happens to Our Thinking? The Bible also says: “There is an eventuality as respects the sons of mankind and an eventuality as respects the beast, and they have the same eventuality. As the one dies, so the other dies; and they all have but one spirit, so that there is no superiority of the man over the beast, for everything is vanity. All are going to one place. They have all come to be from the dust, and they are all returning to the dust.” (Ecclesiastes 3:19, 20) What does returning to the dust mean? The expression “returning to the dust” reminds us of God’s statement to the first human: “Dust you are and to dust you will return.” (Genesis 3:19) This means that humans, like animals, are physical creatures. We are not spirits that merely inhabit a body of flesh. Our thinking faculties cannot survive the destruction of our body. Of a man who dies, the Bible says: “He breathes his last breath, he returns to the dust; and in that same hour all his thinking ends.”—Psalm 146:4, The New English Bible. If that is what happens, in what condition does that leave the dead? God’s Word gives a clear answer: “The living are conscious that they will die; but as for the dead, they are conscious of nothing at all.” (Ecclesiastes 9:5) Rather than being like a friend welcoming us to a better life, death is called “the last enemy,” according to the Bible, for it halts all of our activity. (1 Corinthians 15:26; Ecclesiastes 9:10) Does this mean that death is a hopeless condition? Good News About Death For millions of humans, death is like a sleep from which they will awaken. Jesus once said to his disciples about their friend who had died: “Lazarus our friend has gone to rest, but I am journeying there to awaken him from sleep.” When Jesus was on his way to the memorial tomb, he met a crowd of mourners. On arrival at the tomb, he gave orders for it to be opened and called out: “Lazarus, come on out!” The man who had been dead for four days came out. (John 11:11-14, 39, 43, 44) Since Lazarus’ body was already decomposing, Jesus thus demonstrated that God can remember everything about the dead—their personality, their memory, and their appearance. He can make them live again. On another occasion Jesus said: “The hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his [that is, Jesus’] voice and come out.”—John 5:28, 29. Providing us with further good news, the Bible states: “As the last enemy, death is to be brought to nothing.” (1 Corinthians 15:26) Never again will grief-stricken people have to go to a cemetery to bury a loved one. The Bible says: “Death will be no more.” (Revelation 21:4) Do you not agree that the Bible’s viewpoint on what happens at death is a comforting one? HAVE YOU WONDERED? ▪ Are the dead conscious?—Ecclesiastes 9:5. ▪ Is human death a hopeless condition?—John 5:28, 29. Cc jw.org |

ogunniyi295:Okay now I understand u. Thanks for the clarity U can make a frame of ur gf of urself or ur mum as a decoration in ur house or anywhere. But In an instance when u want to pray u go to that picture hold it or look at it and start praying to God...or making prayers than that’s idolatry. So u understand now? U can ask more questions I guess. Good morning |
greygoblings:Bless you too bro. |
amaniro:Well I am not goin to mentions names here as I didn’t. But as it’s stated images whether carved or pictures in any form used for worship or during worship in any form is wrong. Our God is spirit n should be worshiped in spirit and in truth. Mayb u should shut up but I won’t tell u that. Do have a lovely evening |
Iamdmentor1:Wait o how’s using a carved image to worship God n wat u saying related pls? I’m tryin to understand. |
Collins10:Do u mean God lies? N the Bible contradicts itself. Remember as u have said they just looked at it. They didn’t make an act of worship to it. If u read all parts of ur bible very well u won’t post this right now u would have a vivid understanding of everything. U know since it’s right to u. Simply go get a wood n carve an image n start praying to it ok. |
Sleekfingers:Well it’s my problem. Keep doin what u doing. By the way I don’t see how my beliefs will stop u n l from developing where ever we are. I’m sure u have whatever u believe in (science, nature watever) but it has not stopped u from doing ur stuffs so pls just respect others views) Do have a lovely evening. |
ogunniyi295:I don’t understand how pictures u take dairy equate or is related to worshipping God. If u take pictures of ur gf are u goin to pray to it to God or are u just goin to pray to God directly. I don’t understand why people still ask questions. U saw what the Bible says it’s plane n direct don’t use any image of anything u are still asking......smh. |
That’s idolatry at its peak. Have u guys seen this at all Deuteronomy 5:8-10. You must not make for yourself a carved image or a form like anything that is in the heavens above or on the earth below or in the waters under the earth. 9 You must not bow down to them nor be led to serve them, for I, Jehovah your God, am a God who requires exclusive devotion, bringing punishment for the error of fathers upon sons, upon the third generation and upon the fourth generation of those who hate me, 10 but showing loyal love to the thousandth generation of those who love me and keep my commandments. So why should one have pics or structures of their pastors or even Christ himself hunged around ur neck or in places of worship to be looked at or prayed. Look at this example below, wen the Israelites used a golden calf image to worship they didn’t give the image another name but used it to worship God but God was angry with them n purnished those in the act. Read below After liberating the Israelites from Egypt, Jehovah God gave them clear direction regarding how he wanted to be worshipped. The second of the so-called Ten Commandments says: “You must not make for yourself a carved image or a form like anything that is in the heavens above or that is on the earth underneath or that is in the waters under the earth. You must not bow down to them nor be induced to serve them, because I Jehovah your God am a God exacting exclusive devotion.”—Exodus 20:4, 5. At the very time that God was giving these commandments to Moses, the Israelites were making a golden calf, likely in imitation of Egyptian animal worship. They did not call the image by the name of an Egyptian god. Instead, they associated it with the worship of Jehovah. (Exodus 32:5, 6) How did God react? His anger blazed against those who venerated the idol, and Moses destroyed it.—Exodus 32:9, 10, 19, 20. So pls let us desist from such act and refute using images of anyone or anything in any way while serving our God. Using pics of our pastors or rosary is idolatory, we are to worship God in spirit and in truth once u believe n have faith which that is wat is required of us we don’t need images or statues etc to worship or reverence God. Let’s not be deceived the devil is strong n roaring like an angry lion seeking to devour someone, he sometimes disguised like an angel of light so as to mislead many into believing they are doing the right thing by adulterating true worship. If u practice these things pls desist because it’s idolatry n ur worship cannot be accepted by God. Do not be deceived even Jesus disciples didn’t use Jesus image to preach n pray they even warned Christians against using images to worship in any form Read Acts 19: 25,26 Acts 17: 29-30 1Thesalonians 1:9 Isaiah 42:8 Cc www.jw.org |
dominique:Pls Messi had a double last season liga Cup n Copa de Rey n Spanish super cup. Had the overall highest goals in Europe. Highest assist in Europe for last season. Got the European golden boot. |
GAJIT:Lols they didn’t but I can tell u Dey have sports n other means of communication, these things are not linked to religious beliefs, yes Jacob courted before he got married he served in he’s in laws house for years that’s a type of courting because he’s intentions were known n at least during those years they got to know each other better. They didn’t have cars Dey have donkeys, horses, bulls etc for transport These are normal daily activities n not religious things. It’s like asking me if King Herod n John the Baptist used plates to eat or If Jesus and early Christians wore shoes. because we all know both pagan n Christians do these things in other to survive. But things regarding religious practices can never be mingled together. Birthdays were not celebrated by Christians only pagan celebrated it as only recordings we have in the Bible no Christian was recorded to celebrate it. So why should we as Christians do it? As u have said u can not mix darkness wit light. Gods things are always Gods things and their origin is from God that’s those God approve of. In fact Pharoah considers himself a god. The only command Jesus gave us to celebrate is he’s DEATH. Not even he’s resurrection but he’s death. Mayb u should go and celebrate a traditional festival linked to u as a person n still really consider urself doing it as something of Christ. Haba. No one is sayin u should be sad on the day u turn a year older. |
GAJIT:Did Jesus and he’s decouples celebrate birthday or did any early Christians celebrate birthday? Pls answer. The only records of birthday celebrations in the Bible was done by two people who were not Gods worshipers they worshiped pagan n age celebrations had pagan origins. Remember John the Baptist knew king Herod but he didn’t attend the kings birthday but instead he lost he’s head because of that birthday. We are Christians meaning Christlike n we are to follow Christ steps closely. So if Jesus didn’t celebrate n never ever mentioned it n he’s disciples didn’t the first century Christians didn’t why should we today as Christians do so knowing fully it’s origin wasn’t from God. Thanks. |
