The rest goatsi came to seek might just elude him because na the real 10 logs of wood be this
In the EPL standards, City used to be mid until oil money.

In the MLS standard, Inter Miami are beyond mid. But like City, will come good over time with the addition of good to decent players.

It's a gradual process Baba so no surprises there!

Let them bring 120m euros. We'll listen.

I will prefer they take Dembele though. We use whatever money we get from his sale and sign Joao Felix. We need fit players in the team. Raphinha was the only player that didnt sustain any injury last season.

When Beckham got to Madrid and saw that no striker will be waiting in the box to nod, He couldn't displace Figo as 7 they tried him everywhere including at right back until they slotted him into midfield before flinging him out

He sold them some jerseys though

if that's all you remembered about Beckham then that's very disappointing
I remembered that he lacked pace despite playing on the right midfield 4-4-2, couldn't dribble a cone and lacked pressing.

But was extremely good at crossing and taking free kicks.

James Ward Prowes is proud of him!

Check your last line in your previous post. You claimed Zlatan is not among the greatest strikers in history which I disputed. So where do we draw the line?
Ok, lemme be more clear.

He's not in the brackets of Eto'o, Suarez, R9, Lewy.

And yes he's among the greatest strikers of all time just like Crespo, Van Nisterooy, Aguero and others not mentioned.

We're saying same thing now?

I wasn't referring to you per se. Just pointing out why Zlatan isn't everyone's cup of tea.

While Zlatan isn't a big-game player, I don't think he is a flop like he's been made out to be. This is someone who has scored in some of the biggest fixtures in world football. Inter v Juve, Inter v AC, El Clasico, Manchester derby etc. His four-goal haul vs England and his individual battle with CR7 in 2014 WC playoffs are just some of his highlights on the big stage.

How do you define the greatest strikers in history? Top 50? Top 100? Zlatan is definitely making that list. Someone with over 500 career goals is not among the greatest strikers of all time? If na joke, abeg stop am.
He'll make the list, same way Van Nisterooy, Crespo, Torres will also make the list.

Like I said and I reiterate. Zlatan was world class not mediocre as opined by Dayo but I won't bracket him with Eto'o, Suarez, Lewy, R9 etc. I think we're basically saying same thing or aren't we?

All these 3 have either CL or a world cup as a key player in them.

When Kane moves to a top club and either wins the CL or world cup he becomes great and if he flops he becomes just a good striker who flopped when he went to a bigger club
So for now Kane is what? A mediocre or a good player?

Ibra better pass at least 80% of the guys you listed. You even get mind add Cavani. Lmao. It's easy to hate on Ibra because of his ego and arrogance but you can't deny his quality. He's scored goals and won trophies everywhere he's been. Even during his much-maligned spell at Barca, he had a good goal per game ratio. Man came to the PL at retirement age and still shone before his season was cut short by injury.

I totally agree with Ebukacute that said Zlatan was the on same level as Benzema and Aguero, just slightly behind Suarez, Lewy.
I'm in no way hating on him because of ego or what have you....I've actually been defending him. He's a good player and was absolutely world-class in his prime.

However, let's not forget that in the biggest games he's played, he went missing but that's not even the point.

Of course he may be better than the aforementioned players but I won't be able to bracket him with Suarez, Lewy, R9, Eto'o and the rest.

My initial point remains that he's not a mediocre player but he's not among the greatest hit men in football history!

Will you call Torres Gomez Milito Cavani great strikers?

Zlatan was never a great striker even at his peak, He was just a good striker just like I wont call Cavani Gomez, Milito Torres great strikers
Is Kane a great striker? But he's yet to win the UCL....

In no particular order....the list is not exhaustible.

Cavani
F.Tores
Nisterooy
Crespo
Kane
Milito
Mario Gomez
Van Persie

If I call Ibra great, you'll ask me what I'll call Suarez, Lewy, R9 and the rest....My point is that he wasn't a mediocre player.

I think in his prime, he was absolutely World class...no be only UCL be competition oooo!

If compared to other grat strikers then Zlatan is mediocre,
List out Messi R9, Suarez, Lewandowski, Benzema Etoo etc then Zlatan will be the last in that list

All those players you listed flopped when they moved higher up in their career, they couldn't cope

If your comparison was Wiltord, Morata, Martial, Werner, Benteke then Zlatan is a legend among them
Henry didn't flop @Barca.

My point is that Zlatan isn't a mediocre player though I'm not his biggest fan!

I don't claim to be on an expert on LA Liga but I know quality when I see one. You say Spanish Lenglet, I see a semblance of Prime Pique. He's not as aggressive as Raul Albiol, his CB partner but he can hold his own when it comes to traditional defending. He's very good in the air and has good pace to keep up with fast attackers. I've not watched him over the course of a full season, but bits and pieces of seeing him in action over the years has done enough to convince me.

The same Kim you dey hype has only just burst into the limelight. How do we know he won't turn out to be a one-season wonder? The slow nature of Italian football has a way of making players look good. For Germany here, na zoom zoom we dey play. I would rather take someone who has consistently competed at the highest levels of European football and is still in good form over someone who was relatively unknown 12 months ago
He's nothing like Pique bro. He's tall but not so good in the air. He's slower than Pique, lacks awareness, prone to error, shaky when pressed. But let's see. I'll prefer Pau at Bayern sha coz Min Jae will be a problem in UCL nights grin grin grin grin

All that said, Min Jae is currently very clear in my honest opinion!

BuLi defenders get unfair criticism, IMO. The league has a way of making good defenders look bad and average attackers look good. Especially if you are defending in a team that plays on the front foot. Upamecano has been very good for Bayern but there are instances when the nature of the BuLi game exposes his weaknesses. Upamecano defending in transition is a nightmare scenario. God help him if the attacker is fast and Black grin That one na O ti lo. But see the same Upa for France, the difference is clear.

Even your Gbaraujo grin go hear am, if e come Germany
grin grin grin grin grin

Baba, I wasn't criticising the league ooo, read again. I just said Buli just don't prioritize defending like other top five leagues. It's a league I follow alot. Every attack in Buli looks like it could result in a goal.

Even for France, Upemacannotdefend really cannot defend. He's not a good defender in my opinion and sooner, he'll be shipped out and he'll find his level just like Kehrer who's now at Westham.

I think Araujo is currently clear of Upemacannotdefend. We're talking about a player who's keeping up with the best left winger in world football.... Vinicius.

I think if Gvardiol can do it there, then Araujo who's now a league champion can also do it there and comfortably too. He's a freak and he loves the pacy/physical side of the game.

If a player like Vinicius calls you his toughest opponent, then you're doing alot right.

Why are Bayern only willing to pay top dollar for center backs? 🤔
Lucas for €80m, de ligt for €77m and now min jae for €60m.
It's simple nah. Look at those transfers and you'll not find any Bundesliga defender purchase there.

Do you know why? It's because defending isn't really a thing in the league. This is not criticism but a fact. They attack so much that you need enough quality to reduce the attack from the opposition.

These quality defenders especially CBs are not found in the league so they go abroad to buy them expensive.

Just look at when they tried getting one from the league. I'm talking about Upemacannotdefend who has been an absolute disaster for Bayern.

Attackers should be cheaper in the league so they don't buy them expensive, just get them from their rival either for free, cheap or at a fair price at home or abroad.

That's what I think is happening sha...

Edit: Gvardiol is good but he's now city bound...

Interesting news today linking us with Kim Min-Jae and Pau Torres. Torres is my preferred option. He's lowkey been one of the best defenders in Europe over the past couple of seasons. He is left-footed, same as Lucas which makes it much easier. He also has the same release clause as Kim (50M), but with only a year left on his contract, which means we can negotiate a much lower fee with Villarreal. Competition is also not stiff as with Kim, so we don't need to make compromises.

He has been consistent, with big performances in Europe with Villarreal, unlike Kim wey just blow. All these Serie A guys sef dey fear me. Even, the best of them don't seem to handle a step up in league quality very well. Case in point, CSO at Chelsea.

But knowing Bayern, dem fit wan buy Kim to exploit our Far East market, which is actually strong. Anyway, either of the 2 no go bad.
Baba you're not watching enough Laliga lol.

Do you know Lenglet? We call Pau Tores the Spanish Lenglet. He can pass and all but in terms of defensive action and awareness, Kim Jae is so clear. It's not even close!

Chief if you see the way I first grunted when I saw the news, This might prove to be a deal breaker for them though nothing's certain, And the last club I'll want to win the UCL is that Pi$$G, Would like to see how he handles his probable ego clash with Mbappe
But bro wetin happen na? Read Ruben neves is leaving wolves to Al Hilal, You of course knew my position on him coming to FCB but this one shock me ooh, Dude's still in his prime na
At 18, Neves was the captain of FC Porto while they were in UCL. He left them to chase the bag, joining wolves who at the time played in the championship. He's a bag niggar grin

Neves went for the bag. Barca board wanted him but Xavi wasn't a fan so he didn't wanna join another mid table club in Europe so he took the blue pill and chased the bag.💰 Can't blame him though!.

On Enrique, if he can handle bigger players like Suarez, Neymar and Messi, I think he'll handle Mbape.

He'll make them very solid. If he goes there, knocking them out in UCL will be very difficult.

As a Barca fan, I don't like the news but good luck to him. At least it's better than him joining United or Chelsea.
