Interesting trivia here: Since 2006, every team that has won the CL has had at least one Brazilian in their side. 16 years and counting. Man City have Ederson in goal, no Brazilian player in the Inter side.

Since 2013, there has been a Spanish, Croatian and German national in every CL winning team, either as a manager or player. Man city have Laporte(ESP) and Gundogan(GER). Inter have Brozovic(CRO) and Gosens(GER). German streak set to continue at least for another year.
grin grin grin grin

Good for the cruise but all these things will have zero influence on what's going to happen on the pitch today. I really don't take these things seriously sha.

Oya here's my own.....

No team in Europe top five league have won the treble without having to knock out Barcelona directly or indirectly. For example, in 1999 Barca finished 3rd in a group that had United and Bayern. United will go on to win the treble.

The other two teams(Inter & Bayern) with the treble also had to knock out Barcelona.

All na cruise and our analysis na just for the moment.

City for the cup pls 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

In what ways please? Can you explain to us?
A league that has no relegation, no promotion. How do you expect such a league to be competitive when the teams know there’s no consequences for being sloppy ?
Nobody would beat you if you said you love Messi but saying that the MLS is better than the Saudi league is clownish. They are the same at best (which is even bias because Saudi is more competitive)
Ask people like Zlatan 🤡

I expect you to continue coping 😜

MLS is rated higher than the Scottish premiership sef. Saudi league is rated very low. But I expect you to cope 😜

Oh, the opinion of Zlatan now matters right lol.

Zlatan clowned on Ronaldo 🤡 for going to Juventus and calling it a new challenge. He opineded that CR7 should've joined a team like Roma and power them to a league title like he did with dead Milan 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

May be Zlatan was right about CR7 🤡

There is no free agent Barca or Madrid player that will currently move opposite

Free agent or not .guerriero shouldn’t be move there
Boss, Dortmund is shit at alot of things but Guerrero is a free agent and his move was decided by himself and not Dortmund. I mean he's free nah.

Busquet had offers in Europe but decided against it because he stated that he didn't wanna face Barca in Europe. Same with Iniesta and Alba.

Guerrero would've done same out of respect for Dortmund if he wanted to.

Yes, no player will move from Barca to Madrid in this era. But the rivalry between Dortmund and Bayern is not that fierce recently compared to Barca and Madrid.

Blame Guerrero not Dortmund.

Player wey to go allow join ATM or epl teams wey throw offers you carry am go Bayern your oppressors

Dortmund had no business in this deal to be frank.

Guerrero is a free agent and only him could decide his next destination. Here, he chose Bayern and that's it. Easily could have chosen PSG or any other club.

If there's a party to be blamed for strengthening Bayern in this scenario, then it's Guerrero himself and not Dortmund the club.

Talks about Bayern getting a real DM have been greatly exaggerated. It is not a top priority for us like the CF position. And like hell, are we paying 100 for Basmati. Goretzka is going through a tough period but he should bounce back next season.

He will not be competing with FdJ and Pedri and Barca's 433 actually suits him more. He will excel as one of two 8's with Pedri and DeJong acting as the pivot. Some of his best games at Bayern was when we had him playing alongside Thiago and Kimmich.

Goretzka is not a DM to begin with. Kimmich sef na wetin I dey call Quasi-x grin They are actually good together but you just feel there could be more.
Yeah, obviously he's not a DM nah, I know. Kimmich plays 6 with Gorzetka as 8.

True, Kimmich isn't a "real DM" too but he's more defensively aware.

When Bayern won the UCL during COVID, Kimmich played as a RB with ThiagoXGorzetka combo in the double pivot.

The point I'm trying to make is this...

1) Gorzetka plays well against Barca but he's not a very good midfielder if you watch closely. He's very stiff, can't turn quickly, doesn't really break lines with passes. He's decent and nothing more.

2) He'll bench Gavi but won't bench Pedri or Dejong.

I don't think he'll bounce back because that's his ceiling. If a DM is signed, he'll be third choice then eventually he'll be sold to Dortmund or a trip to Saudi.

Raphinha ? Lol

Who you want take replace grin

I heard Julian didn’t do bad despite not playing football for months
Julian did well and protected Garcia wella. The sample size is small but I think he can backup Kounde well. He's fast ooo.

But Xavi who likes experienced players like Roberto and Alonso will rather play Roberto instead of this hungry boy.

Pablo Torre is going to have a breakthrough next year if he's trusted by Xavi. He was a livewire today. Kessie needs to go. Not a Barca profile at all.

Abde can also play on the right as a replacement for Raphinha.

You no fit escape this one. Kessie flopped. Barca probably thought they were getting a Yaya Toure regen or at least a Seydou Keita. Lmao. DeJong, Gavi and Pedri are all world-class abi? Dey decieve yourself. Goretzka walks into Barca today and Gavi gets a seatbelt on the bench.
grin grin grin grin grin grin Goretzka lol.

Bayern wants to sign Rice so they can free Kimmich meaning Goretzka will finally have a seat belt on the bench. Yes he'll bench Gavi because Xavi likes experienced players but zero chance he benches Dejong and Pedri.

I'll agree that he plays extremely well against Barca but generally Goretzka isn't that good if you watch him closely. There's a reason why Bayern is looking for a "real DM" to play with Kimmich and not Gorzetka.

On Kimmich, we're already struggling to sign two free agents in Messi and Gundo so I don't really think we'll sign Kimmich. But if he joins, just like Lewy did, I'll be pleased just like most Barca fans.

Man can't dribble Japanese league level players in a friendly with zero pressure.

Wetin I dey watch like this. Raphinha, Ferran, Garcia are all lost cause for Barca. Even Julian Araujo a B team purchase saved Garcia more than thrice and played with more confidence than Mr passer.

If a good offer comes in for Raph, he should be sold asap.

PSG won't win the UCL soon and will continue to be also rans there until a significant change.

For this season, going to PSG is better because he can play UCL and ofcourse the bag 💰.

But in the future, I think joining Chelsea and playing in the premier league is a better prospect. Just my opinion sha; Ugarte knows best!

Na psg turn this season.
To be honest, PSG no get pull like that sha, it's just the money now. I think Chelsea are just being careful because if they over spend unnecessarily this time round, they may be very well be banned via FFP.

Just my thinking though because a footballer who's yet to achieve anything serious should not be considering PSG at all. Imagine a player like Kane going to PSG. Terribly run club!

For me, Ugarte is not showing enough ambition and he's ofcourse going for the money but I don't blame him.

Barcelona working on 3 sales to be able to sign Messi and gundogan

If you are selling anyone to sign a 36 year old Messi don’t touch 20 year old ansu fati and raphinha unless I will swear for this club

You can sell ferran torres ,Eric Garcia and alonslow ,then maybe add kessie to them since that one is good and will easily command 40 million unlike those bums
I'll take a 40 year old Messi ahead of Raphina. Whenever I watch Raphina, it feels like it's another player, very different from the one I watched at Leeds.

Raphinah at Barcelona is the worse winger I've seen in 1vs1 situation. He's so bad in that situation that I sometimes wonder what he does in training. He's so UnBrazilian in terms of his Barca style of play, not Leeds.

His stats are decent, so nothing really against him. But if he stays, good. If a good offer comes in and he's sold, even better!

But two weeks ago I had an argument with fellow Barca fans (not here) saying that UEFA has scrapped the rule and changed it cos of Italian teams in finals in UCL, Europa and Conference League. They said no league can have 5 teams no more, saying it's a maximum of 4 teama. For example if Sevilla won, Real Sociedad will have to be booted out of UCL.

I'm confused, wetin dey occur abi na lie??
Lol, no need to be confused sir.

Sevilla are already in the UCL, along with Barca, A.Madrid, Madrid and any other team who finished in 4th. In addition to this, teams who finished 4th in England, Spain, Germany and may be Italy will not need to play in the playoffs. Their qualification is automatic.

So officially, there'll be 5 teams from Laliga!

Torre ke? I missed the game Torre played as a starter. Today's game sef wey I wan watch, I no know rubbish wey dstv/la Liga dey do wey dem dey show other stupid teams matches for Barca game. Wetin concern me and Espanyol apart from hearing good news they relegated. 🙃

I no too rate Gonzalez. He's got some potential but I ain't convinced about him especially his lazy attitude. Dude just seems to me comfortable with the bare minimum. I remember matches before he was loaned out, dem go sub in the guy, him go dey play like say him don prove himself a long time. Person wey na him and Gavi dey battle for playing time that period.
