I have always rated Balde after watching a few of his games last season as well as in preseason.
I remember when I was very happy Alba got injured last season, happy Balde would then have the chance with a few weeks to prove himself to everyone; only for the werey to get injured in the next match. I nearly swear for am that day.

I remember how I always criticised Xavi earlier this season when he was using Alba in champions league and relegating Balde to La Liga only with that useless claim, "he ain't ready for European football yet" undecided. By the time him eye clear we were already far and out away from UCL race.
grin grin grin grin grin

At least we won the league, so there's some respite. I rated Balde too. I think I just love almost all lamasia players who show any form of promise. My own is that, just give them a chance and see if they can grab it.

Abde is not La masia though he played for the B team but going forward, that guy and Fati should fight it out for LW position next season.

Do you rate Nico Gonzalez?

Not related but GARCIA, Kessie, Lenglet, Umtiti, Dest, Ferran, Torre (loan) should be let go.

Tbh I also have some doubts about zubimendi as I'm afraid of his height, the price tag and his insistence on staying at la real (which shows his loyalty though) I'm also not sure Nico would be a capable lone CDM as he seems to find more joy bombing forward, let's just see how the summer market pans out chief
Nico is very coachable. He's bombing forward because the new coach wants that from him in a double pivot. With Gattusso he was the lone pivot and did his job effectively.

Before he left on loan, he did well in the lone pivot role. If Xavi wants him to play DM lone pivot, he'll do it. I've been following him and I like what I see. Very coachable player. His problem remains niggling injuries here and there and sometimes stamina. From 70 mins he always looked so tired. I think all these can be worked on. I just love the guy that's it but let's see who we get in the summer.

I heard Romeu(Girona) and Dani Parejo(Villarreal) are the latest targets lipsrsealed

Ruben neves is not suitable as a single pivot which we're looking to sign chief, I admit a made a mistake not tagging him quality he's really a good passer both long and short, great with set pieces and long range belters but we need not just a deep lying playmaker but a defensive midfielder to act as a shield in front of our backline, he's even now playing more advanced in wolves midfield with matheus Nunes, His speed and strength might just give us more problems
No wahala Chief.

I don't think he'll join us and yeah he's not your typical DM. He's more like Jorgihno. And like Jorgihno, he's a quality player.

But Zubi is frail, he isn't stronger than Neves though, not taller too. I won't like to you, I no too like Zubi but I want to be proven wrong if we sign him. Zubi looks so small. Just like another Eric Garcia but in the DM position.

I reiterate, I'll love to be proven worng on Zubi if he joins us.

If we can't sign a quality DM outside Barca then my first choice remains.......

Nico Odogwu Gonzalez grin grin grin grin

The boy can't be bullied. So strong and confident on the ball. I wish he's given a chance!

United wey get epl pass you?

United wey go compete for UCL next season while u no even see conference league qualify.

They are better than United by being the first club in football history to spend 600m plus and finishing outside the top half.

I never rated balde ,but I have always rated Nico Gonzalez ,dude performed well when called up last season ,he even managed 3 goals as a DM for us

Nico should have a place in the team next season but not as a starter

What do you think about Ez abde ,man has been fantastic this season
Abde is what we need for the LW spot. He's very direct when dribbling and he's now working on his goal scoring abilities.

Right now, he's better than Ferran and Fati for the LW spot. Like Nico, should be given game time and watch how far.

If Abde was playing for Ajax or in Brazil, we'll be hoping we can sign him.

Abde should stay!

Oriol Romeu is a fantastic footballer ,pergola well for girona this season

Ugarte he also available ,but i don’t know why we ain’t looking his side

Nico Gonzalez did well for Barca before he was sent on loan ,I don’t know why culers here don’t rate him
Yeah, same way Balde was not rated. I can recall when Pedri joined, people said he should be sent on loan but Puig should stay but we know what's up. I rate Nico alot and if given a chance, will replace Busquet well.

The problem here is that Nico is injury prone and his defensive actions especially in his own half is not that good. But it's not his fault. Right now he's playing in a double pivot as the more advanced player. At Barca he'll play as a single pivot and won't be advanced at all. This will improve his defensive actions.

Ugarte will cost more than 70m. Solid player but unproven in my opinion.

On Romeu, yes he plays like Busquet but Barca should give Nico chance instead of signing him.

I will take Ruben neves over amrabat ,but I won’t take him ahead of zubimendi

The only player we are linked with that I will take ahead of Zubi is kimmich and brozovic

Ruben nevez is not a better passer than zubimendi ,more stronger more robust but not a better passer

I rate amrabat highly at the World Cup ,but when I started monitoring fiorentina I began having some doubts ,take your time and watch this amrabat guy and see for yourself ,man lack technicality ,pure gidigbo footballer

If we end up signing amrabat I will surely support him and I pray he proves me wrong

My ratings for these guys below in order
1 : Kimmich
2: Brozovic
3:Zubimendi
4: Ruben Neves
5: Amrabat

Brozovic on a 3 year deal won’t be bad ,he is just 30
No wahala bro. I'll take Nico Gonzalez ahead of Zubimendi.

Yeah Brozovic would've been perfect but he's injury prone and of course Kimmich is world class.

It seems we're gonna end up with Oriol Romeu grin or Dani Parejo lipsrsealed as pivots because again Zubimendi said he's staying at his boyhood club to help them in the UCL. He's been saying this all season.

Barca should look for a DM. No be only Zubi dey market. And for 60m plus we should find a solid DM at that price

I just thank we've wrapped up the league because wetin my eyes see yesterday from Eric my hands no fit type am, ferran and fati have to go also, And I hope we don't bring any Ruben neves in, na only quality ballers we need to participate in the UCL
lipsrsealed

People talk about Neves like he's playing in the Korean Division two league.

Ruben Neves is better, more experienced, more robust, stronger, better passer(long and short) than Zubimendi. In terms of defensive action, he beats Zubimendi. Zubimendi is only better in positioning, even Eric Garcia is better at positioning. I'll take Amrabat ahead of Zubimendi sef but I'm not Xavi so there's that.

Portugal is blessed with so many quality midfielders but Neves; a Wolverhampton player is a nailed starter and you think such player is a slouch?

I'll be happy if we get Neves. His long passes will release our wide players like Dembele and Raphina alot. Also, he's an excellent free kick taker who's also extremely good at shooting from range something we're very bad at.

I don't think he'll join because I heard Xavi doesn't like him but he's a good player that can help Barca if given the chance.

Let pep come coach Chelsea, let's see how he will fare.

Oh I forgot, he had the opportunity to clinch the job, but he ducked because he believed the club needed to buy 10 more extra players... something only Arab money can afford him.

Even in his first season in EPL, he was disgraced and went trophyless until Arab money splurged on marquee signings the next season to earn him the league.

At Chelsea, he would have been sacked after that shameful first season.

After City, he will move to PSG to continue his dominance aided by money or availability of brilliant players (like in Messi's barca).
cheesy cheesy cheesy

May be in the past but right now, Pep is levels above Chelsea and there's absolutely no need for a step down.

You don't expect the chief engineer at NASA to step down and become the H.O.D at Unilag engineering department, that won't happen.

On request, the chief engineer @NASA may visit Unilag engineering department for some Pep talk but unfortunately, football just doesn't work this way and Fraudiola wouldn't want to help Chelsea in anyway.

We're some hours away from the inevitable guard of honour from the Blues to the kings of England. Pep is a genius, walahi.

EPL celebrating Man City failures last season is normal thing. Same way La Liga people will Pop champagne as city thrash Madrid. That's normal.

What am against is people always saying Madrid UCL wins are lucks and undeserved
You don't win the UCL based on pure luck but in cup competitions, luck plays a role.

Look at Inter Milan for example. I don't think they would've knocked out PSG, Bayern and City to get to the final but their draw was good enough so they're in the final. With a little bit if luck, they may win it but of course I hope not.

You've not made any single sense so far. So a team with 14 titles at the semi-finals coached by arguably the best manager in the tournament isn't the favourites, but another one with zero titles are.

So Madrid was the underdog yesterday abi? Check what underdog means in a dictionary before quoting me unnecessarily.
Nothinham Forest has more UCL(2) than City who currently has 0 UCL. If they were to meet today in the UCL, who'll be the favourite?

Also, let's go up a level. Manchester United has 3 and Milan with 7. If these teams were to meet city today, who will the bookmakers tip as favourite? You already know I guess.

The bookmakers knows this that's why they gave City 1.65 and Madrid 6.2 odds to win.

City were favourite yesterday Chief!
