Please explain? How does it damage the Naira? All the CBN has done is to request that all banks report on use of Naira Mastercard abroad and demand that Corporate customers buy BTA i.e. Get show evidence of what the forex will be used for before the bank sells to them.

The policy is to prohibit use of Naira dominated cards abroad on CORPORATE ACCOUNTS and to encourage use of BTA, dollar dominated cards or cards linked to Dom account.

You can actually get an earlier interview date at the discretion of the embassy. Just use the feedback/contact from the appointment booking portal to humbly request an earlier/ specific date stating your genuine reasons and I am sure they will oblige. I have done that before and it worked. We were travelling as a group and got different dates. We got them to bring appointment s forward. All the best.

Why not apply for both in the USA? I wouldn't know if a baby's fingerprint would also be needed, because it's all biometric now.
NB: I would advice you physically speak to the Nigerian High Commission on the phone, for better clarifications and heads up .

I have called the High commission severally but it is all recorded message and didnt get a chance to speak to anyone there

what exactly is making it difficult? is it your mastercard? you must register that card with INNOVATE before you can make payments for visa with it. the application for visa is handled by INNOVATE for naija immigration. pls it is a very easy process, just tell me what is making it difficult then i break down the steps for you. very easy to go by.....

I tried the INNOVATE site and it was taking long and timing out. Maybe I will just try again.

I thought there is another option of money order?

Thier story has been that the embassy is not giving any information and not collecting new applications and they have to check each day whether they will start collecting.

I would like to hear from anyone who understands the process as it is gettting unusually long and I have a feeling they may be doing something wrong.

@Omo_Tier1: Tnx! I will apply for 6 months. My bank statement is intact and shows deposits from monthly deposits. I also keep a seperate account where I have some good savings.

I never violated any visa requirements at any point during my stay.

Hello house. I plan to make an application for a visiting visa but I am unsure of way to go as I have never applied for a visiting visa though i studied and lived in the UK for some 7 years and I last traveled to the UK about 5 years ago.

I have a good job, have some decent savings and wanna make a trip to the UK.

Should I make an hotel booking, write itenery etc and apply for a tourist visa or simply get a letter of invitation from family in the UK?

If this is true, that means if I opt for a cotonou imported car, I run the risk of it being seized if I travel with it within the first year of purchase.

I recently moved to Lagos from Abuja and I have been looking for a decent swimming pool where I can swim but this task has been proving difficul. NL, please help.

I used to swim at Nicon Luxury in Abuja. The pool is very clean and big enough. The atmosphere is just lovely. There is an outside live band and you can order drinks and food at the pool side.

I have visited a few "nice hotels" in VI but thier pool is only for lodgers.
