Whether the headphone jack is 3.5mm, 2.5mm, 1.5mm or 0.5mm, it is still an headphone jack and doesn't fit in your argument.

IOS users have survived cos of their large storage phones. It's been a minute I've seen a 64gb iPhone. This is considering, Apple takes more storage than Android in terms of updates, app sizes, caches, 4k videos and closed source limitations.

Make 128gb the base storage on flagships and the 256gb option very popular too and these OEMS will say bye bye memory expansion.
