Religion / Re: The Truth About Christ Embassy Healing School by Ollajay: 6:13pm On Nov 21, 2008
MAY BE I SHOULD ASK: WHAT IS SIR JOHN TRYING TO DO BY THIS THREAD? WHAT IS THIS ALL ABOUT? WHAT IS IT MEANT TO ACHIEVE?

I WILL ATTEMPT TO GIVE SOME ANSWERS:

(1)  SIR JOHN WANTS TO EXPOSE THE ''LIES'' OF PASTOR CHRIS.
(2)  PST CHRIS CLAIMS TO DO MIRACLE BUT HE DOESNT.
(3) MOST OF PST CHRIS' MIRACLES ARE STAGE MANAGED. ETC.

IN DOING THIS SIR JOHN WANTS US TO BELIEVE THAT:

(1) HE IS AN EYE WITNESS TO MANY OF THE STAGE MANAGED MIRACLES.
(2) HE IS TELLING THE TRUTH ABOUT PST CHRIS AND NOT JUST HATING HIM.
(3) HE IS A TRUE CHRISTIAN UNLIKE PST CHRIS AND MANY(OR ALL) OF HIS FOLLOWERS.

MY CONCLUSIONS:

MANY PPLE DO NOT BELEIVE PST CHRIS PERFORMS MIRACLE. ALSO, MANY people DO NOT AGREE WITH SIR JOHN'S THREAD.
people HAVE A RIGHT TO EITHER BELIEVE SIR JOHN'S POSTINGS OR NOT TO BELEIVE IT. THE CHOICE IS ABSOLUTELY THAT OF EACH PERSON. ALSO IT IS people'S CHOICE ETHIER TO BELIEVE PST CHRIS OR NOT TO BELIEVE HIM. NO ONE NEED FORCE YOU TO BELIEVE ANYBODY.

IT IS POSSIBLE THAT PST CHRIS IS FAKE SO AS IT IS POSSIBLE THAT SIR JOHN IS A LIAR. THE CHOICE IS MINE ON WHO TO BELIEVE. IT APPEARS THAT THOSE WHO BELIEVE IN PST CHRIS ARE REGARDED AS GULLIBLE, FANATICAL, SHEEPISH, DOGMATIC ETC. BUT IF YOU AGREE WT SIR JOHN YOU ARE THE SMART ONE WHO IS NOT GULLIBLE. I DISAGREE.

IF ALL THAT SIR JOHN WANTS TO ACHIEVE IS TO CALL people'S ATTENTION TO PST CHRIS ''FRAUD'', THEN HE HAS MADE HIS POINT (OR NO POINT). GOING FURTHER TO ASK CE MEMBERS TO DEFEND their PASTOR OR THEMSELVES IS TOO FAR. THEY OWE NO DUTY TO DO THAT. EVERY MAN (INCLUDING PST CHRIS AND SIR JOHN) WILL GIVE ACCOUNT OF HIS OR HERSELF TO GOD (THAT IS IF YOU BELIEVE IN GOD) AND NOT REALLY TO MAN.

THE WAY SIR JOHN IS TRYING TO PROOF THAT HE IS TELLING THE GOSPEL TRUTH IS SUSPICIOUS. AFTER CALLING MY ATTENTION TO FRAUD ON ME, LEAVE ME TO FIND OUT BY MYSELF. I DO NOT SEE WHY SIR JOHN SHOULD ASSUME THE ROLE OF FORCING HIS OPINION (OR FACT) ON ME OR ANYONE AT ALL.

FINAL NOTE:

SIR JOHN, THANK YOU FOR TELLING US ABOUT THE PST CHRIS' ''FRAUD''. NOW LEAVE people ALONE TO TAKE their DECISION TO EITHER BELIEVE YOUR INFO OR  NOT.  IF THEY CHOSE TO BELIEVE YOUR INFO, FINE. BUT IF THEY CHOSE TO FOLLOW PST CHRIS AFTER HEARING YOUR ''TRUTH'', THEN ''LET THEIR BLOOD BE ON their OWN HEADS.'' OR MUST people BELIEVE YOU BY FORCE. ARE YOU NOT ALSO HUMAN? Can't YOU BE LYING AND BE JUST ANOTHER FRAUD?

IF YOU CONTINUE TO FORCE YOUR ''TRUTH'' ON people, I WILL HAVE GOOD REASONS TO BELIEVE YOU ARE EITHER A PST CHRIS' HATER, OR YOU ARE ONLY OUT TO SMEAR HIM OR RIDICLE HIM.''

THIS WILL BE THE CASE FOR EXAMPLE WHERE people HAVE EXPERIENCES WITH PST CHRIS THAT IS DIFFERENT FROM YOURS.

please LET people TAKE their DECISIONS. LET THE HOLY SPIRIT CONVINCE WHOEVER HE WILL.

THANKS!

CHEERS !!!
MrCrackles:

You gotta be kidding me, Hyundais are fucking useless!

Hyundai Elantra is a bloody worthless piece of metal with an excrutiatingly painful depreciation value

Think twice about calling it a beautiful car

Oh and by the way, congrats! undecided
pyramid777:

I WONDER WHY ARE PEOPLE SO JEALOUS & KILL JOYS ? angry angry undecided undecided undecided

@Pyramid 777

You are unfair to Mr Crackles. If you ddnt want an opinion you need not ask for it. You could go round town and celerate your car the way you wanted. But to call him ''jealous and kill joy'' is unfair and wicked. I guess you only wanted opinion of people who will only agree wit your views. Learn to accomodate views that are contrary to yours.

In any event, no one need be jealous of you. Elantra is definitely not the most expensive nor the best car in town.

That notwithstanding, congrats for the new car!
Business / Re: Entire Computer Village Shut Down Over Tax by Ollajay: 3:09pm On Nov 21, 2008
Many things appear to be wrong about our tax system in Nigeria. The poor pay more than the rich, tax paid are embezzeled etc . However, these does not exempt citizens from payment of tax.

Again everyone knows about paying tax. No one could say he is not entitled to pay tax just because he was not properly educated as to payment of tax. Ignorance is not an excuse in law!

Payment of tax is enforced everywhere in the world because people do not like to pay tax. I am not sure Gov Fashola's method of enforcement is the best. May be I do not have all the facts.

Normaly, tax offenders are to supposed to be charged to court and be jailed/fined if found guilty.

Where however the citizens are displeased with government mehtod of enforcement of tax, they are free to go to court.

But I know citizens dont easily go to court because of the reasons why the government did not charge tax offenders to court. i.e. delay in court justice.

Ma$e,

May be i am coming a bit hard on you. However u must admit that the offer price is a tad too low. Even at Naija used, the mileage is very low. It combines both usage in US and Naija.

I would have expected u to request Vin info, condition etc (unless accident car) before offer. Naija used doesnt automatically equals price crash especially on corollas. Reliable, low cost to maintain etc.

I don't have a bone in this fight. don't kno seller from adam. But be fair.

Once again, my bad.

Then I ask, if yu can get a tokunbo 2005 for the same price, why buy this one? In any event, the milage of less than 20000, is very suspicious. I will never buy a nija used 2003 corrola for 1.75m. god forbid.

Seller, is not serious about selling yet!

@niyooah:

Did you say 1.150M for a nigerian used camry 1999? Did I read you correctly? How old is the car? Is it 2 weeks old? I knw it has insurance and tracker but being a Nigerian used car. Between 800k and 900k is the best price for a top range Nigerian used camry 1999. Anyway, all the best.
Foreign Affairs / Re: Why Do Most Nigerians Want Obama To Win? by Ollajay: 10:51am On Sep 05, 2008
I NEVER SUPPORTED OBAMA. I DONT TRUST HIS BACKGROUND! EVEN IF I WANT A BLACK AMERICAN PRESIDENT, I DONT WANT ONE WITH TOO SHADY HISTORY. OBAMA PRESIDENCY WILL MOST LIKELY CAUSE THE BLACKS SHAME.

MACAIN DESERVES TO WIN! NO ONE SHOULD BE DISCRIMINATED UPON MERELY ON THE GROUNDS OF AGE, COLOUR, OR RELIGIOUS BACKGROUND!

MACAIN-PALIN ALL THE WAY!!!!
Politics / Re: Ndi Okereke-Onyuike Arrested By EFCC Over Obama Xtravaganza! by Ollajay: 1:32pm On Aug 21, 2008
Granted that American law prohibits external funding of their campaigns and elections, but does any Nigerian law prohibit anybody from raising fund in support of internal or external campaigns or causes.

Even if what Dr Onyinuke did is immoral, (which I totally disagree with) is it illegal under the Efcc Act? Is it an economic crime? Some say Nigeria is embarrassed, even if that is true, is that an economic crime under efcc Act? The efcc do not have power to do everything. And contrary to popular views, they do not have to investigate every petition no matter how frivolous; particularly if it is outside the efcc Act.

I have friends in Lagos who have formed groups in support of Obama campaign. They raise money to make Obama fez caps, T shits, stickers, dinners etc They invited me to join but because I am not in support of Obama, I did not. Unfortunately, Macain, who is my favoured candidate do not have much support in Nigeria. I am willing to contribute to support Macain election in any way.

This is similar to what Nigerians are doing in support of British League. I am a die hard Arsenal fan, I can sell my car in support of Arsenal and the Arsenal group in Nigeria.

In the same way, I believe that those that supports Obama can come together to contribute money and do something together. The money need not be sent to Obama Campaign team. It can be utilised locally. Out of all the moneys contributed by all the Nigerian supporters of English premier league clubs like Manchester United, Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, etc, how much was remmitted to England?

I am yet to understand the Economic crime element for which Mrs Oyinuke is reported to have been arressted. I do not think that those who contributed the money are misled or duped. At least, non of them has complained yet.

In the final analysis, the act of raising fund fo Obama campaign, without more, do not constitute economic crime under the efcc act.

I stand to be corrected!
Politics / Re: Ribadu Wanted For "Treason"! by Ollajay: 6:40pm On Aug 11, 2008
Corruption is like terrorism, if you fight it hard, it fights back harder. Ribadu did his best. Given our recent history, it is absolutely preposterous to say he should be perfect. In any event, most people he fought cannot claim they were not corrupt! With a staff strenght of just about 1000, Ribadu's efcc can not arrest all the thiefs in Nigeria in few years.

Until people like Ribadu came to fight corruption, most Nigerians never knew anyone could fight it like he did. What he achieved is now the minimum standard by which we can judge others. he has secured the best record of convictions for corruption or money laundering in Nigeria and one of the best in the word, Ribadu is the biggest success against money laundering on the globe, he returned the highest sum to victims of 419 in the world. That is why he is being celebrated at least outside the shores of Nigeria, and until recently in Nigeria.

The problem with this nation is that, we don't celebrate good people or good achievements. Many people who condemn Ribadu today cannot do 1% of what he did. He was fearless and committed. No wonder he is being invited to come establish similar agency in other climes. If we villify Ribadu for some mistakes he made; does that me he never did anything good? When Ribadu was fighting the 419s like Ajudua, Shittu, Morris Ebekwe etc, everyone praised him or at least left him alone. But when he started to fight corrupt politicians, then he has stepped on tigers tail.

I have heard that he was stripped of the AIG Rank because his appoitment did not follow due process. The Nigerian Police are indeed a laughing stock! I ask, if the President, as the C-in-C promotes a member of the Armed Forces, (either Army or Police), can the Police Service commission (PSC) overule the C-in-C? This has never happened in the Nigerian Army.

The late Aide de Camp to Obj, Gen Solomon Giwa was promoted by Obj for meritorious service in the same way Ribadu was promoted. Yet the Army did not strip Late Giwa of the Rank (post humously like the Police did to Iwendi). This is a shame!

It is not new for the C-in-C to promote an officer (either of the Army or Police) and later send the papers for either Army or Police Service Commission to perfect it. Yet the PSC are  over ruling the C-in-C! This cannot be due process! Yet, the current EFCC is arresting people in the premises of the National Assembly! Is that due process? That is not rule of law but of lawlessness!

I believe there is a lot of wisdom in what Chief fawehinmi said, I believe the present Yar Adua govern-mess is headed for destruction. Yar' Adua has just confirmed that he is as (hypocritical) Nigerian as any leader we ve had. He is directly weakening the war against corruption.

Ribadu should keep his head afterall he should expect that the forces of corruption which he fought will sure fight back dangerously hard. Even if he dies in it, he wont be alone. MKO died in it.

I am very sure that Ribadu will lagh last! As for Yar'Adua, he should be careful because, this is Nigeria, it has consumed many of its past leaders.

Anyway, the drama continues,

Thanks Viperman. I knw you ddnt mean to be harsh.

But then is my offer very far from yours? Eg. for the very neat nigerian used you offered 800k, I offerred 750k; for the tokunbo you offered 1.1M i offered 900k.

I expect that you will just reject or refuse my offers. May be with some explanations we may reach common grounds.

Or are your price offers final in their finality? Is it Kingsway market where there is no hagling?   grin Love

Anyway ill give you a call so we can talk man to man.

Autos / Re: 2007/8 Toyota Camry Glx: (chariot Of Fire) by Ollajay: 1:43pm On Jul 24, 2008
Hi Viperman,

Thanks for your reply. But I consider that the prices you gave me are not fair.

For example, less than one month ago, a friend of mine bought a full options 2000 camry tokunbo for N1.150m.

I expect the a 1999 model to cost much less than that; like say N900k and a good Nigerian used like say N750k. What do you say?

In any event, kindly give me your price for full options of

Mazda 626 Preston XL and Mazda 626 Millenia. I need to make my decision fast.

Thanks for your assistance.
Autos / Re: 2007/8 Toyota Camry Glx: (chariot Of Fire) by Ollajay: 7:49pm On Jul 23, 2008
Hi, Viperman,

How much would be your price for a very neat 1999 camry for both tokunbo and good Nigerian used? If your price is good, we may strike some deal promto. Thanks.
