I am having a dispute with a friend about Spanish visa, he said a Spanish citizen can apply a visa for one who intends coming to Spain and such one will be granted visa immediately the Spainand gets an approval notification, that all one have to do is go to Spanish embassy with one passport to get stamped without prior and thorough interview.
This I argued till exhaustion buh he stands still, so i decided to come here to ask the notable gurus and well adorned traveller with viable know how to help straighten out this issue.

That is a very wrong and untrue information.Anyone from spain(citizen or legal residents) who wants to anybody from outside the EU to spain must be able to prove he or she is capable of hosting the person or persons being invited.

A lot oe people have this wrong notion that having money or being rich is the same thing as having class or being posh.nothing can further from the truth. for example just because a a garage tout has millons,wears designer clothes and all that does not make him or her have "class".

visit the Spain embassy in Nigeria or visit their website, all the information about visas are there.the main requirements are the same for Schengen countries of which Spain is a member
