Please I'll make this brief, my redmi note9s fell into my toilet some days back I picked it up and kept it inside bag of rice for 2 days, when I brought it out I discovered the screen had issues but I recently got a new one. Now the phone problem I'm having is that, if I switch on the phone it keeps on rebooting continuously till the battery drains, even if it manages to reboot It won't display anything safe for the battery and network indicator till it reboots again.

A friend says it might be a software issue and requires flashing, but I don't know how to go about it because the guys here can't seem to flash redmi phones.

Please I need help.

Maybe it is this extreme optimisation done at the OS level that kills a call or phone process in the background that needs some people to restart the phone before making calls.
I complained that note 9 pro ain't getting updates like note 9s before butjit is like note 9s is being used as the sacrificial lamp to test updates for note 9 pro since they have almost same similar internals.

The miui default laucher has been the cleanest and smoothest laucher that I've used since I started using android as it made me addicted to it and have never changed to another.

Start up is faster, phone is smoother, data calls works well. The only issue is the call bug for me and headphones Bluetooth or wired doesn't work.

Guess, I'll have to abandon the phone and switch back to my mi9t, call logs and SMS are important to me, so torchlight phones are a no no....

fine, I don't really make phone call on any of my smartphone. So, I can still cope with the bug pending the time they will provide solution.

After updating to latest Android 11 on redmi note 9s, having call issue both earpiece and mouthpiece including outer speaker not working. Any solution to this Genius43 Baba.

If not for MIUI OS, there's nothing special in Android 11. In fact, Google seems to wait for MIUI before they design or develop their latest OS version. Thank God, I didn't choose wrongly.

I'm on 12.0.2 before this update of 12.0.3. I wasted a lot of data trying to update it, before I then decided to download the full ROM and update manually.

All is well sha as we look forward to the next update.

For people who know, full ROM is most times better than incremental. If you know you know. If I were you I would download manually and install.

If Glo is good in your place night sub is ₦100 for 1Gb and you can do as much as you like.

I have not seen a full android update that comes as an incremental update in my 9 years of using android phones.

It is like a updating from Windows 8 to Windows 10 and you are avoiding the 3-4GB installation file. It is not possible.

As for RN9s MIUI 12.0.2 to 12.0.3 the incremental update is broken hence the full ROM.

Also if you are still in MIUI 11, they will give you a full ROM to download
