How much is the AC fuckboys: 1hp whisen inverter ac, whisen is lg premium brand of ac. This ac is direct Tokunbo from alaba.
Not even up to 500w of consumption,
This is the total load on the inverter at the time. |

bkuranga: Thanks for your input, I'm tempted to ask why you suggested 1.5HP, instead of 1HP for power efficiency?
Is there a problem with 1HP ACs? The reason is the cooling efficiency at random weather conditions and as a rule of thumb in the case of inverter ACs |
Satellite TV Technology › Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by oloet: 7:21pm On Dec 22, 2025 |
In whatever you do, make sure it's a 1.5hp that you get... Your 8kwh should do, I have seen someone with a similar system that run his AC from 11pm bkuranga: Oh, okay. I understand that.
What's your AC model and maker abeg? I'm running a 24V system presently with 8KWH bank. Was thinking I should upgrade before thinking about AC.
Do you have any suggestion on AC I can use comfortably with this? |

Oh sorry about your experience favouredbymercy: I related my experience here sometimes ago. Error code 9 issue. In the process of receiving a new mother board from product maker from china (I had to write Powmr support. After many process of questions and sending video and pictorial evidence, they agreed to send a new main board). Still in transit since mid Oct. Hopefully soon, i will get the new board fixed and inverter back. |

What happened to your 24v hybrid inverter favouredbymercy: I dont know why people underate that device. The thing dey deliver for my end finish. Presently, that is the only thing powering my battery (presently using our favourite 24v 3000w sachet inverter, as my hybrid is decomissioned for now). 2 Jinko 590w panels in series (SW facing), on a 25.6v battery, and all my loads are used as i suppose to including all my family COOKING needs (all thanks to induction cooking).
I like the CC finish... Your slogan here legit... Na sense dem dey use for solar matter... |

Dharyhor: A very good controller should be able to take it max and clip the excess without issues since the connection is within it voltage limit A good controller will buy 3-5 units of this 😌 |
Satellite TV Technology › Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by oloet: 7:08am On Oct 28, 2025 |
You are actually overwhelming the controller. 60A @12v is 720w, considering the ambient temperature during those generation, your controller is working as it should, nothing is wrong with oversizing though some controllers handle heat better Dharyhor: Update on this
It turns out that despite connecting in parallel, the temperature was still going up though not as fast as when it was in series. Probably due to the quality of the controller
It still went up as much as 65°c, this is mostly when panels are generating 650watts and above, at some point, I got 800watts.
What I did that helped the issue was to limit the float and absorption to 13.8v, this reduces the power I'm generating at peak to less than 650watts but solved the overheating issue and battery still gets full on time
I don't want to disconnect one panel because of cloudy days
I'll leave it like this pending upgrade
Thanks everyone |

Hercules22: Everyone knows they are hustling but from my experience with such agents they’ve always made the process faster and easier for me. I don’t know why you have a problem with them. Everyone here have testified and spoken about their importance and you still won’t agree. Just like myself and others have said, discuss with an agent or call 217, they would resolve whatever issue you have ASAP. This is my last response to you regarding this matter. All the best. This is an account of another user, make do with the information therein whatever you want.

What's your charge and discharge amps like? HeavenlyBang: So, turns out my battery also had an issue with the terminal. The cable going out from the BMS to the negative terminal had shorted and was burnt, causing massive voltage fluctuations which was likely stopping charging.
Battery was built by isangjohnson, so he asked me to ship it out of state to him for fixes. Sent it to him on Thursday morning, got my battery back on Friday evening all fixed. Top guy. I also flashed the V6.66 firmware and hard resettled the inverter after that. It's been smooth sailing since then. |
